Look, it's a reverse harem superhero book, and it was free. What was I gonna do, say no? Because honestly, there's a reason I keep giving Marvel money to watch their movies, and it isn't the plot!

So let's dive right into this sexy-superhero-packed extravaganza, shall we?

This book is set in a world where part of the human population, so-called Natches, have spontaneously developed superpowers. It's a bit like the plot of Branderson's Steelheart series, except I suspect this author didn't put quite as much thought into the world-building as he did. This modern world is also occasionally invaded by elves who jump through portals and sling around some vines... I don't know. It's a wild setting.

The main character's superpower is she can boost other people's power, but has no special abilities of her own. Basically she's an amplifier. Except, here's the catch: to amplify someone else, she has to make out or have sex with them.

Is this a shameless plot device to push the main character into having hot sex with every other character? Yeah. Oh yeah.
Do I care that it's shameless?

This has got to be one of the funniest incarnations of the "There's Only One Bed!" trope I've ever encountered, but it works so well! The book's plot is supposedly about a group of superheroes fighting an interdimensional invasion of Earth, but in reality, it's just about the MC having sex with every man, woman, and elf she meets because, you know, she has to.
For the sake of the planet.

So Succubus Lips contains a lot of quickie sex scenes, an MC with an extremely traitorous body, and light-and-fluffy plot sprinkled in every now and then. It's a fun read and nothing that'll make you think too hard. Can recommend.

* I read this as it's an entry in this year's #SPFBO and I am a judge*

I admit I DNF-ed this at 30%. This book is kind of a 'reverse harem' plot where the main character lives in a chaotic world of superheroes and evil elves who hop through portals and cause chaos. The humans with powers are 'Natches' and they each have an ability. The main character is female and her ability is to amplify other people's powers when she kisses them or has sex with them. This results in A LOT of sex all over the place.
I'm no prude and I'm quite happy to read erotica or exotic scenes, but it just didn't draw me in. The plot is weaker because of the focus and constant distraction of the boys that the main character can't stop thinking of. The concept is actually not a bad one and it's something that could have been done in other ways which may have made the book more appealing to me. However, I just don't think the story shone enough and I didn't care for the main character's motivation or irritating thoughts.
DNF.

I’m ashamed to say this was my first book of 2025. I downloaded it on a Stuff Your Kindle day, and I fear I have stuffed my kindle with shitty books.

The plot makes no sense. The heroine is paper thin and perfectly happy to just be used like a toy. The men are gross. Not a fan.

Wow. I’ve got to say...this is probably one of the most bizarre yet satisfyingly creative books I’ve ever read. When I first heard about the blog tour, all I saw was ‘Reverse Harem’ and didn’t see anything else. So I kind of went in a bit blind. Okay, I went in completely blind. Can you blame me? It’s REVERSE HAREM.

For those of you who have no idea what that even means—it’s one lucky lady and three or more men. If this sounds uncomfortable for you then more than likely it probably is. These books aren’t for everyone BUT I do highly recommend you try them because they are amazing!

In this story we follow Aurora and her unique power of being a booster. That entails her lips being the one to power her friends own powers for a few minutes or longer. The real kicker of them being able to have their powers enhanced all day is then being inside her...meaning sex. Did I think that was a bit weird at first? Yes. Obviously I jumped on board fast; it’s a fantasy book for a reason!

If you’re into kickass heroines and book boyfriends that make you swoon, this one is for you! The story is unique and so damn fun! I loved the characters and look forward to more books in this same world.

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net**Succubus Lips is the first book in the Succubus Sirens by Lina Jubilee. Succubus Lips is an adult urban fantasy romance, and I have to say right off the bat, this is adult so it won't be for everyone, but anyone that does enjoy adult fantasy romances, this book was a totally fun read.

Succubus Lips is the story of Aurora, who is a Natch. A Natch is a creature that has the ability to boost other creatures magical ability. This boost of power comes from Aurora's lips.

"Her lips have the power to boost. Her love can grant power unparalleled."

I really liked Aurora. She is super feisty, and lot's of fun. There are multiple love interests in this book, which really shouldn't be a surprise with Aurora's magical boosting lips. It is safe to say, there is a lot of kissing in Succubus Lips. But the world that Lina Jubilee created is also totally unique and very interesting. Though this was a short read, there is a big ole fight going on in the world, and I think we will see that aspect of the plot explored more in other books. At least I am hoping we will.

Overall, Succubus Lips is a fun, romance with lots of swoony guys and magical kisses. The plot can get a little out there at times, but it was fun nonetheless. Good start to what is sure to be an interesting series.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

This book was great! We get to follow Aurora who is a natch which means a human with powers. Only hers are a little different then the rest which leads to some interesting situations I must say. There is some incredible world building, characters you can love as well as hate, a big war going on, and some steamy scenes that all combine to keep your interest until you find yourself in the last page wishing book two was already in your possession. If you like paranormal romance with more then one love interest then you really have to read this book. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

This was so good. It completely caught me by surprise. Honestly dont know what I was expecting. This was a cute story. It’s a prn reverse harem. Its like all my childhood fav cartoons came to life in a really yummy adult version! X-Men meets the planeteers! The mfc was spunky and inly agitated me once. The narrator was really good as well. The character interactions and build up were well down. This is more of a light hearted audio book and I smiled a bit. I look forward to the next book!

I didn’t enjoy it
DNF at some point little under half way. Probably shouldn’t have taken it so seriously . It just bored me and too many tropes . All of the tropes.

Couldn’t finish it....

This book is like a mix of X-man with fae from another world, which I would be okay with if the plot was not all over the place.... but what really, reeeeeally, bothers me is the way the main character thinks and accepts all macho man behavior from the male “love interests” like it’s okay because she has a libido and its turned on all fucking time.

* Spoilers*

It starts right at the beginning where the first love interest is introduced (his name is Nash I believe???) and he talks like her super power is a duty that she should be using on regular base on her coworkers/ friends just in case they need to go to battle.

(Oh, forgot to mention that she has super lips and can give you a boost of power for a few minutes when kissed. The real power tho, is in the super vagina that gives you a power boost for hours, and dear First guy is talking about this option, with all coworkers)

Well she kinda agrees for a moment then gets mad and shuts the idea down.

Then we are introduce to the Good guy turned Bad Guy cause he had different ideas from his bff which also happens to be love interests nr 3. That one I liked, was the only guy who said that wanted to mainly fuck her but the boost would be fun to try - clear with his intention.

Nr 3... there is not much to talk, the nerd with the money... Is older than her and keeps saying that she is a “kid” even tho she was 18 when he met her and she is now 24... Where I stoped reading they had kissed, I think I would have liked to read the rest of their story if it weren’t for Mister nr 4!

Mister nr 4 is the King of the Fae! And he looks at her, get horny, and decides that he has to kidnap her the next time he sees her.... Since he was not able to kidnap her, he kidnaps her friend and comes to bargain with her bla bla bla...

Basically she is stupid, doesn’t think, and comes up with a plan on the spot that is shitty af. Asks her friends to trust her and get kidnapped with no means of returning to her world or save her friend.

Aaaaanndd I would have been okay with this, if they didn’t get stuck in a cave on a mountain’ side with no means to leave and the fae king decided that he haaaas to have her at that moment. She is cold, like shivering and says no, but he is like:

*deep voice impersonating*
Oh I know ways to keep you warm. Even if you say No you are turn on, I can smell it. Why deny yourself, when its what you want? We are super compatible, us fae have a way of knowing.

And she gets turn on... keeps saying no,
he keeps repeating himself,
she gets really confused cause she has 3 other guys she already admitted she loved,
He keeps repeating himself and touching her,
She says no,
He orders her to get undress,
She obeys...

All the while she keeps questing herself of why she is doing this but Oh her libido! Is stronger than her mind! And she keeps going...

And that my friend, is where i stopped.
Because there wasn’t ONE guy who would fuck her because they liked her without wanting her boost or without being pigs with her. And because she had no self respect and could think past her libido.
(Don’t get me wrong I all about girls with strong libidos but I’m also about girls with strong brains)

Well, I was not expecting this!  I have never read a "reverse harem" book where the women are the center of the harem rather than the men, but this is a unique take on an old trope.  One woman has several men at her beck and call and the real twist in this story is that the men (and women) who enjoy trists with this woman have their own supernatural powers increased.

Aurora has the unique position of being a "booster" where her kiss can enhance the power of someone's unique gift for an hour or so but having sex will keep them stronger all day.  She is not proud of this gift but learns to accept it and use it to her advantage. I kept imagining her saying LEVEL UP every time she kisses someone. This whole story would fall flat if not for Aurora - her personality is what makes this work.

Of course, you have an evil faction to play off of with one group eyeing another with a supernatural cat and mouse game.  I found the whole thing fascinating and this is a great set up for an easy to devour series.  I know so many people who are going to love this.  If you are fans of Jennifer Estep or Jeaniene Frost, you will probably like this one.  I am not current on all of the new authors writing in this genre so I am sticking with the tried and true authors that remind me of this style.

Not bad

When I read the description I wasn’t expecting the book to be what it was. But it’s a cool concept with having two events happening at the same time to Earth.

The first being that humans started evolving. “Naturals” is what they were called and they were people with powers. It could be anything like flight to controlling the elements. Aurora is a Natch that gives a power boost to anyone with powers. And her group were called Veras. A team of Natch that work to police other naturals and protect the typicals “non powered humans” from bad naturals and the Nelians, the other threat to the planet.

The Nelians are from another planet and want to save our earth by restoring to it’s original state but growing vines and destroying all of our technological advances, buildings, and such. There intentions are good but by doing this there causing harm to the humans. And they are doing all this without the planets permission.

Aurora eventually becomes the glue that brings everyone together. Both humans and Nelians alike. She becomes the consort of the Nelians king while she herself works to save her city from them. But she also has Jayden, the head the of Veras, Zander, head of the renegades “the bad naturals”, and Nash a member of Veras falling for her and coming together to reconcile things between themselves and the Nelians. With her she brings about peace and changes to her home. All things that are much needed.

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also this author is new to me, and it won't be my last.

OMG!!! This story is so gr8. I love Alanna. She's so sassy and so freaking lucky. This story is about “Natches or Naturals” who are humans with abilities. Alanna has the ability to boost other abilities with a kiss or sex. There are 4 men that she falls for. Three are Natches with different abilities and one is an Alarick, an elf. Nash has fire ability, Zander can project part of himself to other places as well as being telepathic. Jayden can move and throw earth, and the elf can grow vines and control them. This story is complicated in the respect that the elves are coming to earth through portals to “heal the earth”. But they're actually being destructive, & the Natches try to stop them. There's also renegade Natches that cause trouble because some normal humans, typicals, are prejudicial. So you have a group of “good” Natches called Veras, that fight both Renegades, & Elves. Alanna's men come from each of those 3 different factions, Jayden, the leader, and Nash from Veras, Zander from the Renegades, & Alarick from the Elves. I truly enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the next one. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

DNF.

This would have been a 4 star without the shitty heroine.

I've never been so embarrassed to be inside someone's head. I tell you, this girl was absolutely shameless...and a complete hypocrite.

Her powers notwithstanding, she had absolutely zero self-control and was constantly getting horny around the men in her orbit and letting them treat her like a piece of meat.

Wonder Woman/Black Widow would never.

Look...I would have understood her more if, let's say, it was a side effect of her powers, but that wasn't the case - she's just very, very, easy and has no sense of loyalty to the guys she claims to love.

She slept with an enemy who was trying to take over the world, for goodness' sake! With hardly any resistance, might I add.

Look, the amount of sex itself wasn't the issue because the general vibe of the book is sex positive and the other side characters are boinking all over the place too, but not when they claim to be in love with other people and certainly not with their enemies FFS.

She just came across as not having any self-respect or working brain cells, so after the scene in the cave, I started feeling icky and had to stop.

Side note: at least half of the four love interests were alphaholes, so if that's your thing, fine, but for me, it was a turn-off. Their interactions were great for erotica but there was not a single lick of romance.

If I go by Amazon alone, this is Lina Jubilee’s first novel. If I were to speculate, this is the author’s first erotic romance novel under the name Lina Jubilee. It’s just too well executed to be a first novel. Speaking of firsts, this is my first encounter with the Reverse Harem or RH concept. Apparently, it’s rather new and very popular. Jubilee creates a multi-layered vision of an ecologically ravaged future. She pits the regular humans against the benevolent Natches, mutant humans with additional powers. They are part of the Veras Team and they battle an invading army called Nelians that want to return earth to its natural state by eliminating anything non-organically man-made. There has recently been a disagreement within the Veras ranks and a splinter group, the Renegades, is using its own brand of policing to combat the Nelian invasion. Aurora is our heroine. She’s a Natch and she has the power to boost the powers of other Natches. Kind of like a turbo charge. How does she do it? Anything from kisses to full on contact. When things reach a critical point, the survival of the planet earth depends on Aurora’s ability to boost the men she loves. I’m in for number 2.

So I set out to read thirty books this year and this novel has been on my Kindle for years. Well it is an interesting premise. This book is by no means for the faint hearted. While the story is interesting enough, there are no depths to the characters in the story. It is mainly centered around the sex and eroticism in the tale. So why did I bother to read the tale anyway? The blurb for one and I don't really like leaving stories half finished even if I don't like them. Apart from the weird powers of Aurora, I don't think there is any depth to this story. I did enjoy the tale but be warned this book is not for everyone especially with some explicit sex scenes in it. But it adds some profound new things to the genre. Plus the author seems to know her subject well.

Fun standalone

While many RH books out there in the market today are fleshed out into a lengthy series, this one bends the genre just enough to allow the romance and action to stay in just one book. This makes it a bit fast, yet somehow it works - though a full connection with the characters isn’t quite made. Still, over all, it’s decent; a bit fantasy, a touch PNR while still being in the guise of an X-Men like background. Interesting.

Pros:
- Unique story.
- World building.
- FMC is appealing.

Cons:
- Fast.
- Lack of Emotional build up.
- Conclusion feels rushed or slapped together, though there was little else that could be done.

This is my 1st read and review for this author and what a great start in getting to know her work. This has an original storyline and you can’t say that a lot lately, even though it’s a Reverse Harem and it’s a popular genre this story was different and I really enjoyed reading it. It was very entertaining it wasn’t just about the sex ( although that does help ) there’s a great story that goes with it, I will be looking out for more from this author and this book is going on my to read again shelf. A 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Succubus lips

I didn’t know how to feel about this book at first but after the first chapter I already loved it. Aurora has a super power making her a “natch”. She is able to boost other natch powers through sexual acts. Her heart is split 4 ways throughout the story and she finds herself unable to choose between her mentor Jayden, her best friend Nash, her forbidden love Xander and a new comer that should be an enemy Alarik. Though they all have different goals they band together to save their town. Love the little twist at the end. So cute.

Pretty much detested this book. I mean, it was an ok storyline but omg it dragged, the plot was all over the place. The elves turned up out of nowhere on earth, govts all over the world just dont care, no depth to the story, “i love you”s being thrown around by the heros and heroine without any build up or background or even loving interaction. It was all about the mfc’s special powers that caused boosted powers, nothing to do with romance much. The only character i really enjoyed was zander! He was cool!

So different then anything I have read/ listened to before and it did take a little while to get into but omg I am so happy that I didn't stop reading/ listening to it because it was so good. I feel so bad for Aroura because all she feels like she is good for is a power boost that she isn't good for anything else. She doesn't let though feeling or thoughts keep her down though she still is aways willing to help keep her town and the people living in it safe. She finds out that her team needs and cares for her more then just for her power boost.

I had problems with this read, that made me feel not good during reading.
I felt like Aurora was used by everyone: Come here, boost me by kissing and then we will have sex... I know that was the idea with having that kind of lips, but it felt too much, especially in FF situations. The idea on its own was decent, but when aliens (check it out what they are) I was like: it will get interesting! But I got: wtf... it was so strange!

Gotta love a girl with a magic pussy and an eclectic quasy harem. Aurora is quirky, kinky and really smart. Hook her up with a band of vigalante friends, vigalante "enemies" who she really loves and a hubba hubba hot evil alien elfen king and you have a confusing kind of war going on in the world; Aurora's mind and libido. Fast paced action with lost of side stories, back stories and interesting stuff going on all round.

So in this world there are Natches, people with supernatural abilities who fight the elves who come through portals and attack the city. Aurora's special ability is boosting other natches' abilities with a kiss or sex. Things get a little more complicated than normal when the king of their enemy takes a liking to her.

This was a quick, sexy read with a fairly interesting premise and surprisingly likable characters. I don't think I will read more in the series but I enjoyed this one.

I received this book as an audio in exchange for an honest review.

Our heroine is part of a group with superpowers that tries to save their planet from the evil Nelians. You can expect a suspenseful story with lots of love interests. This leads to her being torn between her feelings and her duty. But even this will play out differently than you think.
This book was fun listening to. The world is easy to understand with many different and interesting characters.

Stopped at 60%.
I’m exhausted reading of another female whose body rules over her head. A female who positively cannot help herself when a man says to strip. It makes me MAD when a guy forces her to do something, and it is accepted under the guise of - but she wanted it, look how her body responds!
And then on top of that he’s cocky because he knows he has her? WEAK.
I can’t stand weak women run by men.

A different take on supernaturals with RH twist

Well, this certainly was a different kind of story set up in a SciFi/UF/paranormal romance world with the RH thing that’s super popular at the moment. I enjoyed the characters and the premise behind the series. The fact that it’s a RH and had multiple lovers was done in a good way, too.

RH and a heck of a lot more

This book really has a heck of a lot included!! Adventure, romance, kidnapping, heat, love, betrayal, action, other worlds....A good tale at a cracking pace, well written and the story drags you in. Couldn't out it down once I started it and now need to see what happens next...

A steam seekers dream, there is no doubt a lot of s@x in this story. No surprise really, it is about a succubus after all. In between all the bouts of play time there is plot progression. There was one thing that bothered me and it made me feel bad for the FMC, because of her ability you could never tell if her love interests were in it for her or her power.
