Aki has met her former boyfriend, who’s now afflicted with ED (the one who took her first time). After claiming that he won’t do anything dirty to her, she agrees to sleep with him to help get his fire back down below. For some reason he only responds to her! Is this odd relationship something that will lead to panic or…love?! In this slightly erotic story, Aki’s head is thrown into chaos as she tries to sort out this share house life!
JUST.... I DUNNO TALK OR SOMETHING. The heroine is really invested with her feelings but she's not even making a move or something. Adding the fact that Hongyo is a freaking dork, I wanna kick his cute face. And the editor is making me even more anxious because of his pushy proposal. This is not the kind of angst I'm wishing for, but I'd love to continue! Seriously though, it's making me really dizzy, plus, the font is small on my smartphone that it's making me angry even more.
I really like the premise but damn, I should switch to kindle cloud reader on my laptop if I really want to finish the whole series today. More patience to me and myself!
The main character is, unfortunately, a bit of a doormat — and she gets caught up in machinations from one of her roommates to get engaged and marry out of convenience. It’s also hard to like Tomo because he is just so deadpan and unemotional. But I am curious how this all turns out!
read at your own risk cause of A LOT of spoilers but i feel like I have to rant about this manga. so ok, so far we know all about terada-san liking tomoya and all (her first love?) alright cool.
so obviously terada-san likes tomo and has slept w him already, kissed him and maybe more whatever, and atp you’d think that tomo maybe has a interest in her cause of how he described it when they both had their “first time” together.
terada-san asks out tomoya and he somewhat agrees to go out - cool. so now, tomoya is kinda giving her the cold shoulder and all and we all confused at first little do we know that tomoya had a deal w hase (hase proposed this deal btw) so tomoya can properly spend time w terada (he wants to kiss her and continue sleeping w her) and hase doesn’t like it because he has feelings for terada.
tomoya agrees to this deal and there it is set. whilst terada and tomoya are going out the deal is in action and therefore terada felt as if tomoya was ignoring her and all and therefore broke up w him without even allowing tomoya to explain himself!
terada and hase now start going out after a drunken night at the bar where they went w the flow and made out (this was during the night before terada broke up w tomoya) and terada admits that she is “attracted” to hase - cool.
this is the part that pissed me off the most - so terada ends it w tomoya and doesn’t allow him to explain himself as he has a dull character and assumes that it will just be a dumb excuse, this is where hase now tells tomoya that he is now going out w terada-san and tomoya is left gobsmacked.
tomoya mentions how going out w terada-san WAS NOT part of the deal, and hase brushes it off as if he achieved something and he was proud of himself.
this part is really annoying because we are told why tomoya acted how he acted and it was all due to hase’s silly deal which terada-san was unaware of making it really really unfair on tomoyas behalf. the fact that hase basically took advantage of a lousy deal he made w tomoya to get terada-san pissed really whet his way and this is where i see hase as a true evil mastermind.
the author really made this manga go so slow despite being 40+ chapters out. im FINALLY starting to see development from tomoya our mc.
last thing that pisses me off is that terada-san sounds like she’s desperate for a relationship and i view her as a sex addict. she expects too much but then again i don’t blame her despite tomoya having an personality which is difficult to get along with. and AKARI, ugh she was a decent character but she’s tooooo decent, as in she’s ok w terada san jumping from boy to boy in their share house despite allegedly liking tomoya. she should move out for the better.
thank you if you read all that but i was so mad because it felt like 0 progress was being made in this manga.

This series is growing on me despite its weird (interesting?) set up. I’ll admit, I curious to see where it goes. The MC needs to get a grip and voice her opinions, I’m hoping to see her character develop.
OK we find out what happened in their past, and I am not sure if this is cultural differences or what, but I do not like that backstory. AT ALL. Going to put under a bracket for a second So yeah, a bit strange, I even downgraded it from my initial 3 to 2 stars just for this volume.
I thought the first volume was kind of cute/interesting, but it is revealed in this volume that the hero and heroine didn't just have their "first time," together--he assaulted her. This makes volume 1 so sinister in retrospect. Series-ruining.
God I want to love this series bc I like the concept so much and I really like Hongyo, but damn the MC it’s like she’s still some awkward middle schooler. Have sex already or something! I mean you’re a grown woman...!
I mean I get that’s the whole point and it’s a manga so how can I expect any kind of realism but idk her behavior Re: sex is just so weird. Did she not have sex with her precious boyfriend or something??
Second reading, finished 10/30/2021
So I can see why I got frustrated with this story in the first place. It’s like if slow burn was in the coma ward of a long-term care facility…
I have a bit more tolerance for her, and the concept of potentially ace/aro characters are interesting? But idk. I know the MC is supposed to be super passive and that’s kinda her big flaw but I mean she could talk to Hase or if not him since he’s a bit intimidating (and like his mother tends to talk over people), then she could at the very least talk to Hongyo? Like if you like him, tell him….! You’re 24 not 12, ffs.
