I remember when I was younger, standing outside in a blizzard. The snow would twist around me like a white tornado. The cool touch of the flakes falling on what little skin was showing on my face. Fast forward a few hours. A child was laying in their bed. Still a massive blizzard outside. The wind is harsh and whipping the local tree branches against the windows around the small tin trailer.

This book was not only good, but it was so familiar. It was based on the city I grew up in, the cities I have been living in and the surrounding cities and names of Place I have been too. It was great reading something that reminds me of home, minus the Windigo.

Yes, you heard me correctly. There. Is. A. Windigo. A windigo, and people like Andrew, Cassandra, the Summerlee's, Max, Rachel, Danielle, Matt, Brandon, and Marlene. I am sure I am missing a handful of people. During the worse blizzard in Michigan and a very hungry Windigo goes on a high-calorie human binge. It was exciting yet campfire like a scary page-turner. The only thing that gave me any issues is all the characters. It made it hard for me to switch from a lot of people and their stories then back again. Other than that I loved it!
