"The key is not to work even harder, but to do things smarter and make sure you get around to what really matters to you."
Rick Pastoor has written a practical and valuable book on how to accomplish your work more efficiently and manage your life to achieve your goals. I think I know the basic concept of the art of working smart, but this book provides me with new insight, particularly on setting up a calendar and a to-do list. It is great when a few little things can affect our lives in a good way. I like the 3-stage rocket, which is a calendar-to do list-email, and I like helpful advice regarding differentiating between urgent and important tasks. I also never thought that a to-do list could do so much more.
This book is divided into three parts, basically on how to structure your week, year, and life. The first part has significantly impacted me because it all related closely to my working life. In addition, honestly, I am not really into yearly goal setting and week/month/year recap, but this book provides some helpful tips to get started if I want to.
Overall, this book is interesting and a good read. Individuals who are just starting in the company should consider this book. I would also recommend this book to everyone. It would be best to read this book even though you only apply the lessons from the first chapter. Furthermore, this book is written with a simple layout that pleasantly reads, and you can skip sections that don't relate to you.
