Overall I liked this book. It was nice to see the couples from the other books in here. I always like when authors do that. In this one we have Cameron and Hadlee. They were a nice couple even though they didn't start out that way. Thankfully they got it together in the end and got their HEA.

Desire: (Venture Capitalist Book 3) - a review by Rosemary Kenny

The book starts well with MC Hadlee being shown as a professional (paediatric doctor), independent woman with a supportive circle of close friends who are all fully-rounded characters in their own right. Things change when Hadlee meets Cameron Newhouse at her friend Emerson's society wedding. He's the eponymous venture capitalist and a seemingly egocentric rat in the love-stakes, preferring to love 'em and leave 'em with a series of emotionally unsatisfying encounters and brief affairs , while being a ruthless competitive acquisitor when it comes to business.
The overall story could be described as Ms St Claire's take on 50 Shades of Grey and demonstrates various sexual acts, with Hadlee in a few different locations, in between which he runs away scared when she says she wants the whole package (ie marriage & kids), while he's more interested in who the mole in his company could be.
I felt a it was a little disjointed in places where Hadlee was clearly satisfied with her life as it was before he came along and that Cameron was much too controlling and remote emotionally.
Along with a few grammatical errors, it's not a story I'd be likely to follow if expanded, sorry to say.

Ainsley has written another compelling romance this the third in the SHN Venture Capital series. Dr. Hadlee is a pediatrician in San Francisco wishing to serve the less privileged herself having been raised as a wealthy child although her mother had died when she was but 12 and her father married six more times each one further depleting his fortune finally leaving Hadlee with little of what was once a large hotel empire. Hadlee is closely knit with her group of friends mostly whom work as partners in SHN Venture the highly successful venture capital firm. Her close friend Emerson is marrying Dillon in Colorado one weekend and both are SHN partners. Also attending is Cameron one of the founding partners though only mid-thirties for whom Hadlee has long had the hots for. He always is so remote and a one night type of guy except that at this wedding he finally cannot withstand his own attraction for the beautiful busty long-legged Hadlee and they actually get it on in a very heated sensationally erotic night. Hadlee doesn't know if Cameron will call her but he does and so begins their up and down romance until Cameron can get his own demons in order. Hadlee is just the most delicious beautiful creature ever created in fiction and has all the finest characteristics and utmost patience with Cameron as well as the necessary firmness to adjust him. The naughtiness of Hadlee in bed submitting to Cameron's dom like personality is well written. I was spellbound until the last page. Deliciously erotic and sensual while so loving. Given to me as an ARC I have voluntarily reviewed.

I loved the banter and how close this group of friends are. Each book lets us experience how well they all fix into their circle, while we explore each couple. I loved how one of the partners in the company, Cameron tries not to falls for one of his partners friend. Hadlee is a pediatrician who has a secret crush on one of her friends partner, Cameron since they met: she doesn't think she fits into their circle. This book takes us on a journey of how Cameron and Hadlee go frome friends to lovers, while we also experience the comadre and banter between all the partners and their significant others. They each have issues they have to overcome and the more time they spend together the harder they fall. This is a really cute story about the struggles the company goes through because of a spy, as well as the struggles they each to overcome. Hadley is a sweet, caring Pediatrician who yearns to have her own family one day, life throws her several curve balls which land her in the arms of her crush. Bad boy, Cameron doesn’t do relationships, until Hadlee. This is a really cute story, I loved it!

I loved these two characters. Hadlee is a sweet, lovely caring woman who is a pediatric doctor. She loves children and hopes to have a large family of her own. Cameron is a successful business man as one of the founder of a venture capitalist group but he doesn’t do relationships. Hadlee And Cameron have the same circle of friends. Both secretly have had a crush on one another but never acted on it until Dillon and Emerson’s wedding. When Hadlee loses her room, Cameron generously offers to share his. The chemistry between the two turns into a hot one night stand. Hadlee returns home and Cameron goes on a 2week vacation. She hopes to hear from him but soon figured it was just sex for him. After a fire damages her home, again she has no place to stay but her friend CeCe steps up to help her out, but she can’t live with CeCe indefinitely, Cameron offers her the apartment in the basement of his home. Things start getting hot and heavy between the two. This has a well developed storyline that draws you in and keeps your interest all through the book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

This is the third in a series by Ainsley St Claire whose books I have both read and enjoyed before. This certainly reminds me, in parts, about glimpses of 50 Shades of Grey type scenarios - so beware about the age of the person reading this series. certainly this can be read as a standalone with no issue. It is very enjoyable and both of the main characters, Hadlee and Cameron are engaging, charismatic and s@xy at heck! With some espionage in his business he needs Hadlee in his life as the person he can rely on and have sizzling steamy s@x with when they make love. This is a book that will need your fans/ac to be in fully functioning order as you're going to need to switch on to MAX COOL! A good writing style that is easy to read and well thought out. I will be looking for more of her books to read as this was so good.

I loved this book. Cameron and Hadlee had been friends for awhile and were in the same group of friends. Both were attracted to each other but had not acted on it. At a friends wedding, when she lost her room, he invited her to stay in his room. It got very hot and heavy and then he leaves on a two week trip. He doesn't call her and it takes a little bit for them to get back on track. When her house catches on fire, he offers her a place to live in the apartment beneath his. Then things get very hot and heavy again. And then it falls apart again. This man does not know how to be in a relationship and it shows. You just want to kick him There were many things I loved about this book. Friendship, love, family and a good story. I've already ordered the previous books and will be preordering the next. I got this book from Hidden Gems for an honest review

I received this book as part of an ARC review. Hadlee had a crush on Cameron for awhile. They finally get together at their mutual friends' wedding when Cameron offers to share his room after Hadlee breaks up with her boyfriend. A boyfriend who was gay and wanting to use her as a beard. The chemistry between Hadlee and Cameron ignites. Their relationship is not smooth with house fires, cancer and his ailing father. However they continue to talk for the most part. When Hadlee moves out of his downstairs apartment, Cameron realizes he doesn't want to lose her. Cameron's father improves and after talking with his father, Cameron decides to act. He takes Hadlee away for the weekend and proposes. She accepts of course. They are a well matched couple. The book grabbed my attention at the beginning and kept it until I finished it.

Desire by Ainsley St Claire tells the story of Hadlee & Cameron. They are both part of a super tight, very intermingled group of friends yet, for their own individual reasons, feel a bit like outsiders. Due to both sort of being on the fringes of their group, they seem to only know one another from a pleasant distance. That doesn’t stop either one of them from crushing but, neither are brave enough to pursue anything out of fear that things would get awkward if it didn’t work out. When two friends from their group have a destination wedding, circumstances step in.
Desire is both passionate and relatable. It is fun but still has the kind of depth that makes you really feel for the characters. I enjoyed it and am thankful for the opportunity to read an advanced copy. I’ll be keeping my eye out for more from Ms. St Claire!

Hot And Kinky

I read the first Venture Capitalist book and will need to go back and read the second. This one with Cameron and Hadlee was much hotter and kinkier than the first. I loved at how up front both these characters were about their want and lust for each other at the wedding after wanting and waiting years. It was super, super hot!
Cameron and Hadlee both had their inner demons to deal with as well as outside forces. Add in the continuing theme of corporate espionage and the supporting characters and what you have is a story that will have you attention until the end and leave you wanting more.
I do hope there will be another book for Mason in the near future.

Once again we meet the friends that formed SHN but this story focuses on Cameron who is one of the founding members of SNH and Hadlee. Hadlee is a pediatrician she came from a wealthy background but her fathers constant marriages and divorces has destroyed the family wealth but that doesn't matter Hadlee wants to work with underprivileged children anyway. Hadlee and Cameron meet at Dillon and Emerson wedding (Book 1 Forbidden Love) they have a one night fling but can't seem to forget one another afterwards Will these two manage to fumble their way into a relationship that actually lasts

A wonderfully well written story with romance and company complications. Cameron and Hadlee seem to be destined to be together with secret crushes on each other. Fate keeps pushing them together and it wad a great and interesting read to see if they coukd get it together before it's to late. I loved the heat and passion in their relationship. Cameron's dom like personality is well written. The romance and connection between the two along with the compant ascpect and sub characters kept drawing me in and keeping me intrigued till the end.

This is Cameron and Hadlee's story. She grew up with wealth but her family lost it all. Now she is a doctor. She meets Cameron when they are paired together in a wedding party which is interesting because he has a problem with relationships. That same night Hadlee ends her relationship with a guy and finds herself without a place to stay and their lives change from this point on. This is a great series and you just have to read the stories because the characters interchange throughout the series and if you haven't read them you are really missing out!

This is the third book in the Venture Capitalist Series but can be read as a standalone. If you've read the other books you'll recognize some of the players from the SHN Venture Capital firm in the SF Bay area. The romance of Hadlee and Cameron will keep your Kindle hot. Plenty of drama and suspense. Throw in some corporate espionage to spice things up. Lots of sexy scenes and twists end with an HEA. I read a reader copy via Hidden Gems and voluntarily chose to write a review. A great read.

Ainsley St Claire has done a fantastic job with this series so far. All of the characters are tied together in many different ways. While they’re trying to figure out who their mole is, they’re finding love along the way. These two have an unbeatable chemistry, but his past has kept him closed off from relationships. Their journey to love is a bit more unconventional than most, but they get their HEA. I cannot wait to see what’s next...or what happens with Mason, I don’t like the vibes from this chick at all. This was the first book that I read in this series and I now want to go back and read the other two books. This story draws you in with great characters who truly care for each other and take care of their own. It has emotion and some really good steam as well. I really enjoyed reading Cameron and Hadlee's story. Not a conventional boyfriend /girlfriend romance . Read the book in a day! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

4.5 stars Excellent contemporary billionaire & Doctor romance. The main characters were well developed and we learned more about Cameron’s past as well as Hadlee’s. By doing this the author gives us more understanding about them. The only unresolved part of the story that remains elusive is who is the mole in Cameron and friends business. I anticipate we’ll learn more about the dilemma in the next book. I received a complementary copy of this book via Hidden Gems and I chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. St Claire.

I received this book from Hidden Gems and l am volunteering to leave this review.

Although this is the third book in the series it can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book l have read from this author and l plan to read more.

Hadlee and Cameron are the main characters in this book, they are friends of mutual friends who hook up at a wedding. Cameron is hopeless at relationships so there is a lot of issues. This had romance, hot chemistry and twists and turns that made for a book l enjoyed.

This is the third book in the Venture Capitalist series and I have read all the previous books and I loved them and this one was no different. These two are in the same group of friends and have been attracted to each other but have never acted on it until now when she gets stuck with no room at a friends wedding. She says with him and things get hot and heavy and then he leaves for a trip. These two have some serious false starts but can they get things to work.

I like the character development. I love the interaction with the fellow characters. It shows that with work and trust you can build powerful relationship. The sex scenes gets steamier and more intense as the book progresses. I cannot wait to read more about the characters in the book and who is the "mole".....
I could not put down, I finished in a single read. The characters are realistic ~ having flaws and problems that life throws at us

Another great book!

I don't always know what to say on the subject line or header but I swear this series is soooo good. It's full of intrigue, family and friends, love and misunderstanding. These stories have made me laugh and cry because I get very involved reading them. The descriptions of the people, scenery, the feelings they go through and the good bad and ugly stuff. You see it in your mind or feel it in your heart, if you're an emotional reader. Can't wait to start the next book! Written by Cindy :)

This was a great addition to the series and I read and enjoyed the first books so could not wait for this one and it did not disappoint. It is a good easy read and is Cameron and Hadlee's story these two had lots of chemistry they have been friends for a while and although attracted to each other they have not acted on their feelings until they end up sharing a room together at a friends wedding. This is a good read and I enjoyed it.

Friends to so much more. Cameron and Hadlee are part a great group of friends. She is a doctor and he’s part of the venture capital. They like each other but never act on it. They all gather for a wedding. Hadlee ends up losing her room and Cameron was kind enough to share his room. They end up doing more. Due to misunderstandings, will they have a futur?

This is a first from this author. I was pleasantly surprised to find a new author I truly enjoyed. I enjoyed the playfulness in the book. The book has light BDSM, a love story with a nice story line with enjoyable characters. It was an easy read, the story flowed effortlessly. I enjoyed the sex scenes very much too.
