Joanna Mazurkiewicz was born in Poland. She moved to United Kingdom when she was only nineteen and just finished high school. She had aspired to be a writer upon completion of the Harry Potter series but also enjoyed reading books like ‘Gone with the Wind’, ’Animal Farm’ and ‘The doll’. She graduated from Swansea University with a bachelor degree in American Studies. While studying in the UK she made a decision to start writing fiction in English. The “Whispers of the Sprite” is her first debut novel and she is currently working on other projects. Joanna lives in Cowbridge, a small town in South Wales near Cardiff with her boyfriend Bruce. She enjoys cycling around Welsh countryside some of which has become the settings in her first series.
Wow...... just wow...... and not in a good way.....
By chapter nine, I just couldn’t take it any more...... On on hand I want to congratulate the writer for how much they’ve written and making it as far as they have,on the other I want to scream about how juvenile and repetitive it all felt..... Julia started off feeling kinda neat and interesting but she quickly got on my last nerve and stayed there..... Question ? How old is Julia supposed to be ? She acts like she has a little sense one moment and acts like a lame wanna be high school detective the next, move over Nancy Drew, Julia is here to jump to conclusions about the stalkerish dhampir whose company is making a drug to help vampires kick their human habit, when her cousin is kidnapped by ppl in a black van she was warned would be after her..... Sooo Julia runs around saying it’s him as she tries to avoid him,all the while berating humans ( you know, “humans can’t sense us paranormals”, like the reason humans can’t is because their slow or just are smart enough or something ,not because as her ex bf shows trying to kill a troll in a bar, there soo good at hiding themselves and their abilities) or going to a pub and telling us they were served by a “British waiter”, really a British waiter in London ? Really ? Oooooooooo kay....., now having lived in England at one pint in my life I know it’s a rather culturally diverse place, especially London but as long as you have a U.K. Passport you could be considered “British” not English , soo it felt like an odd thing to say..... it was like we needed to be reminded of where the characters where ? I don’t know but all of Julia’s comings and going all seemed like lame busy work til the next time Nathaniel her wealthy stalker decided to pop up again ... weird .... They meet at his office, he mostly stares at her, thinks about wanting her blood and escorts her into the ladies bathroom whether Julia wants him around or not, then pops up at her work the next day, Julia practically accuses him of the kidnapping, but the stalker Vamp. oddly show when she’s being harnessed by her crazy ex.... but he does show the next night when she’s supposed to have dinner w/her poor slow “human” friend again only her stalker has used his mind control abilities on her friend and taken her place and proceeds to order like he’s meant to be there .... Not sexy ,not romantic , just weird, and despite how attractive might think he is or the odd magical tingles he gave her ,these two didn’t really have any chemistry to me... She was waspish and biting with him and he was pushy and creepy, all the while she jumped to conclusions constantly and worried about her grandmothers opinion w a y too much.... While as long as it’s not to sick,or weird or twisted ( say like a book a saw once where a man wanted his own twin brother romantically ) I’m happy for anyone who has the guts to follow their dreams and write their stories and get them out here, this to me needed a) a darn good editor grammar, thoughts etc. to clean it up and the b) some good beta readers to help with the plot etc. Good luck , but this just wasn’t for me....
Love With Fangs - is a spectacular paranormal romance novel with vampires, elfs, witches, fairies, mermaids, humans, and dark magic. The premise of the novel is highly intriguing and right from the beginning you are enchanted until the end. The writing is well crafted along with well seasoned character's. The dynamics between the character's is fabulous. The world building descriptions and settings are well detailed and descriptive. This novel is brimming with suspense, a bit of mystery, plot twists, sexy lust ,romance, & magic.
A Nightly Howl - begins right where book one left off in this enchanted series. Julia & Nathaniel's on again & off again love saga continues in this sequel. I absolutely love Julia & Nathaniel & want them to be together forever. With the mysteries surrounding the paranormals, unexpected twists, sexy romance, this series is a absolute must read.
Elf's Affection - is absolutely spellbinding. Oh, Golly Gosh I just did not think I could fall even deeper in love with this series but book 3 just did it. I cannot get enough of Julia & Nathaniel as I am in love with them. A scrumptiously delicious read that leaves you craving more. The magic in this epic tale is just stunning.

I absolutely love this Paranormal Romance Series as it is a magical spell binding read.
Vampires and Elves and Faries and Wearwolves....... seriously I could put this series down. The dilemma of falling for a Vampire who literally craves your blood and trusting that your love is everything and betraying g your family. The chemistry between Julia and Nathaniel is everything I dream of
Love with Fangs A placement agency for paranormal beings is such a unique place to start a series from. And it’s populated with unique and varied characters. Julia is so independent and feisty, with a fine-tuned sense of justice. Even though she doesn’t have much control over her powers, she’s still prepared to use them to right the world’s wrongs. Nathaniel’s still a bit of a mystery. There’s a strong connection compelling the two of them together, but he’s even more independent than Julia. He’s a powerful, dominant man who’s used to getting his own way, and she offers him a delicious challenge at every turn. Kidnappings and corporate espionage bring them together, but is whatever’s between them enough to overcome everything trying to keep them apart? I’m now very invested in reading the rest of Julia’s story and look forward to the next book. A Nightly Howl Everything we thought was wrapped up in the first book is coming undone in the second. Julia thought she was putting her life back on track, but her life had other ideas, including Nathaniel’s back and he’s not taking “no” for an answer. I’m glad to see him back in the picture, but some of his behavior makes me like him a little less this time around. Julia’s magic is still unpredictable, though she seems to be able to call on it more reliably in an emergency. Filled with action, intrigue, magic, and heat, this story makes me want to dive immediately into the next book. Elf's Affection Poor Julia! She just can’t seem to get a break, unless it’s of the heart variety. With the line between enemy and ally blurring, and Julia’s unpredictable magic bordering on uncontrollable, she’s in for the fight of her life. Filled with more action, intrigue, and magic, and even more crackling tension with Nathaniel, this book quickly became an emotional roller-coaster. While things seem to be quiet for now, there’s still unanswered questions that make me anxious for the next book to find out more. Witch's Promise Normally I’m a sucker for the non-stop drama-fest kind of stories. For me, it’s like the book equivalent of reality TV. This story managed to stretch even my love of the drama. I have been invested in seeing Julia and Nathaniel as a happily committed couple since book one, but this book made me question if she’s really the right person for him. The speed at which Julia jumps to incorrect conclusions, her willingness to trust people who are completely untrustworthy, her need to do everything herself – against the advice of people whose jobs are to do those things, it all made me long for a different heroine. On the bright side, we get to see how Julia’s powers are growing and we get to watch the super sexy way Nathaniel looks after her. Family Feud Well. I liked Julia and Nathaniel’s overall story arc of the series. And I liked the plot twists and turns that happen in this book. But our heroine left me gnashing my teeth in frustration with all the times she’s slapped in the face with the really, really, obvious clues and then proceeds to ignore them. I was also unimpressed by Nathaniel’s behavior in this book. I know it’s for the sake of the plot, but the dashing alpha I fell in love with in the earlier stories is kind of just a whiny jerk in this one. I love the way this wraps up. I love that we get the answers to all our questions from earlier in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
Love with Fangs - 5 stars Interesting, sexy, Full of action and surprises. Julia is a half-elf that helps find Job other sups. Nathaniel is a sexy vampire and billionaire. What will happen when tension is touchable and sparks are flying? And add kidnappings Ale together with the constant refusal by Julia! Interesting book. Book 2 needed!
A Nightly Howl - 5 stars Great read! Full of steam, Interracial relationships, and shocking events in The end - I wasn't expecting them for sure... the book was written flawlessly and with the Great flow.
Elf's Affection - 4 stars Really Good combination. There is Love, romance, steam, Magic, and suspense! I can say That Julia and Nathan's story is Great and smoothly followed by The reader and your imagination will have Great to me with their story!
Witch's Promise - 3 stars Someone bewitched Kate and Julia's dad. What will happen to them? I usually don't mind super fast plot and twists but here sometimes I felt so confused... Yet I'm still interested in how this story Would end.
Family Feud - 4 stars Time Has come to plan The wedding... but as always something came up or happened. Now it's Her grandmother died and grandfathers vanishing. What had to happen? How will They deal with That? Julia will get in troubles warning to help as always but in The end, she's in a HUGE mess. There were a lot of twists and turns That explained A lot of things That were going on here or in some of the previous books.
I loved this box set. The author has that magic that enchants you from the very start and keeps you entertained the whole way through. This is an original storyline with believable characters that draw you into their lives and keeps you reading to find out what happened next, especially with the dynamics between two of the main characters, you may even smile, laugh or shed a tear or two. I did and I always say if a book can bring on my emotions then it is a good book. This is one of those books that I could write so much about but I hate when reviewers give away the story and spoil it for new readers so I won't tell you anything that happens. If you're anything like me, when I enjoy a few books from a series I like to collect the whole series and read all the books in one long marathon so a box set is just great, And this box set is such a bargain, as most books these days are more like a novella and take 60 -90 pages on my e-reader whereas each of the books from this set were over 280 pages. so definitely great value. If you enjoy Paranormal Romance that contains Vampires, Elves, Witches, Giants, etc then you will love this box set. If I could I would have definitely given it way more than the five stars allowed.
This was the whole series box set. Really liked the characters and enjoyed the story, thought the plot twists were great. However, there was lots of repetition of their daily routine, and then each book went over what had happened in the other books, I found myself skim reading those bits as they went on for too long and were really boring.
Julia is half elf half human and finds herself caught in life threatening situations in each book and she somehow gets out of them each time by pure random luck.
Julia has an on and off again relationship with Nathaniel who is half vampire. They’re relationship is a bit annoying as they don’t just get on with it and you have at least 2 books when it’s just frustrating with the back and forth.
Its a shame as the plot and story were great and it just needed to get on with it. For example Sarah the lady who works in the office is talked about loads, making you think something is going to happen with her but nothing does, so all the time wasted on her was just pointless.

I read this set in individual books and I really loved them. I had forgotten how much till I read them again in this wonderful boxed set. I have always liked this authors books but I have to say this series is probably my favourite. The scene when Nathaniel and Julia first set eyes on each other is a romantic moment I don't think I will forget because to my mind it was perfect. The ups and downs of their relationship and that of their friends and all the magical situations were a joy to read and I will miss them. I hope whoever chooses to read this boxed set will enjoy it as much as I have done.
Julia is half elf and half human. Nathaniel is half vampire and half human. They fall in love but Nathaniel has commitment issues. With all the paranormals around them trying to control each other and situations, their lives are a complete mess. Best friends with a witch, shifter and fairies, Julia and her friends get into all kinds of trouble and situations. And with her father being the chief of the paranormal police force and an ex bad boyfriend trying to get her back. These are some of the most interesting and captivating books, I couldn't put them down
Julia is the heroine or victim depends what she is doing at any given time in these books, I thought they offered a lot of action, adventure, romance, magic, fun and suspense as well as so many different creatures and it seems that everyone wanted Julia's blood since she was half elf and the one man that always seems to be in her life is Nathaniel Caz whom she met and fell in love with in the first book. The paranormal side is quite fascinating. Joanna M. did an excellent job on this box set. I am reviewing this book that was a gift from the author without obligation.
Julia was a fantastic character who went through a whole lot in these stories. In Love with Fangs Julia meets a vampire while trouble follows her as she starts to understand her magic as a half elf. Nathaniel is her vampire boyfriend and was on again and off again throughout the series. Each book had plenty of action and mystery as Julia deals with her powers and things that she can't keep herself from investigating. Lots of vampires, elves, trolls, and shifters and witches. Her friends are all strong women and each has their own paranormal kick. Loved it!
I enjoyed the story overall. However, there was a lot of filler, such as Julia's actions at work. There was a lot of repeating: sweat beading down her back every couple of pages. Lots of grammar mistakes. I finished it because I wanted to see how Julia and Nathaniel's relationship ended up, but I did a lot of eye rolling after the 3rd book because it just felt so drawn out. And Spoiler Alert, they don't even get married until the epilogue. That's just a lot of reading and waiting for a few pages of their wedding.

The story itself could have been awesome if the author actually developed the characters better instead of some being selfish and superficial. I struggled reading this because there were so many grammar errors that I had to stop and highlight them. This os the first time I have ever rated a book with 2 stars and that is being nice since this could have been an amazing story. The author had a good story idea but this needs work. I hope the author does a redo on this and definitely gets an editor to fix the numerous mistakes.
This storyline is fascinating and very enthralling, unfortunately the editing leaves much to be desired. I found that reading through it all I was constantly fighting with the grammar which was incorrect at numerous spots and misspellings as well. Despite the frustration of the less than perfect editing job, I fully enjoyed reading the series however I would recommend that the author get all these volumes re-edited.
I read the reviews on this and most were not that great. But I enjoyed the series. The main character was just a little over the top for me (I’d have dumped Mr Arse along time ago). Yes, the editing was a little rough but the storyline worked for me. The 1st book was free so I must thank Ms Mazurkiecz for that and yes, I did buy the rest.
The story itself is pretty good. The spelling and grammar really lets it down, rendering it unreadable in places. I have reported the errors in all the books but whether it gets changed in the future is out of my hands. If you think you can get past all the inaccuracies then by all means buy it, but for me they ruined the series completely. I just found myself wondering if the author actually proofread or edited this thing at all!
I really enjoyed reading the book. It was a little long, but well worth the time. Not your typical girl meets millionaire romance. There were a lot of plot twists, but in the end, they end up together. Which is the perfect romance. Yes, there were grammatical errors and typos (read from other reviews) but most due to the fact the author’s first language isn’t English. I’ve read several other books by her and they get better with this.
This might have been an interesting story, but unfortunately, I just can't get past how much it needs an editor. Plenty of typos and badly structured sentences. And a timeline that is wildly inconsistent. Had it been "over a week" since the kidnapping, or nearly two months? She mentioned she hadn't seen her parents in over two weeks, though she'd just seen her dad three times in the last couple of chapters.
This main character drive me crazy. I enjoy a strong female character but this was by far the dumbest girl ! It took me over a month to finish this book. It was ok but I definitely would not recommend that anyone read it. Lol. Unless you enjoy being frustrated. I'm an all things paranormal fan. This ranks way at the bottom for me
I wanted to like this series. The blaring inconsistencies in the final book almost made me stop reading. The 4th book ended at Christmas and the 5th book starts in February yet it's been 8 months since Christmas? Jumping hours and days in the timeline that made no sense whatsoever. It was difficult to keep up with when things were happening and how much time had actually passed.

Loved the characters, the plot, ups, downs, twists, and turns! I did get a bit annoyed with the main characters, nievety, like come in girl, pull up those big girl panties and realise not all is as it seems! But I actually cried at the ending, would 💯 recommend, just the right level of spicy, some strong female leads and an overall great story line.
This was my first glimpse into the authors writing and it was a pleasant experience. I loved reading about Julia's journey as she faced her powers. And that scene with her and Nathaniel?😍 You'll find witches, shifters, vampires, elves... a true paranormal romance!
Could not put this down read it over two days it is one of the most interesting books I have read this year although at time I wanted to jump into the pages and shake Julia. Not sure I would not have known most of the things she overlooked.
Series was good although at times it became repetitive with the make up break up of Nathaniel and Julia. The ending could have been better, seemed toward end the author was just trying to finish and be done.
The series has potential but it really needs to be worked over by an editor... commas exist for a reason. Also actually checking through that spell check hasn’t changed the wording because that was a CONSTANT issue.
I am happy with this series, there were more than a few curve balls in the plot. I personally wish the romances had.gone a little differently but I'm kind of picky about pairings lol over all pretty interesting
I'm not good with writing reviews but I enjoyed this book. Times in this story I was seriously ready to strangle the characters but I guess that's what keeps you wanting more.
This isn't the first time I've read this series but I love it so much. Elves, fairies, vampires, werewolves, shifters, witches, trolls, and Giants... What could go wrong?
