A really fun short read with lots of pictures that highlights all the oddities, quirks, and adaptations of different fish. From archerfish to sharks' mermaid purses to beautiful patterns and camouflages to extraordinary migration patterns, this book gives a glimpse into the wonderful world of fish.
Pretty much just picked this up off a shelf of my college library because I'd finished all the books I brought with me. It's informative if formatted in a way that's a little hard to read at first.
Loved this! Lots of full-color photos, which is what I was looking for. It's a pretty short book, and there are tons of fish species, so obviously it's not comprehensive, but it's got lots of neat facts and is a cool intro-type book. Plus: the photos!
