Monica was done with hectic life in New York. Leaving to practice medicine at a tiny hospital in Shandaken would surely be the change she needed. Moving into her new house, fate knocked in the form of a tall, athletic man, bleeding to death and needing a doctor.
Raul was a rule breaker - constantly fighting with his pack and disobeying his alpha. With his life on the line after a battle, he crawled to the first house he saw. Socializing with humans was forbidden but he would never have guessed the girl who saved him to be the embodiment of beauty and kindness.
Content Warning: Explicit love scenes, and piles of sexy shifters. Intended for mature audiences only. This box set contains 10 books.
Sarah J. Stone brings you the best of paranormal romance. Get ready for thrilling, hot, adventures with happily ever after endings and no cliffhangers.
A really exciting and romantic series....all of the couples were destined to be together and they felt it when they first set eyes on one another.....really good romantic read
This set includes 10 books involving a wolf pack, prophecy, and a no-mating-with-humans rule. The series consists of: Heart, Desire, Touch, Embrace, Love, Mate, Journey, Destiny, Time and Peace. The books give the reader a different and unique “twist” on the interactions and relationships of the wolves, witches and humans. I thought Raul and Monica’s story was a good one. I have enjoyed the books that I have read so far and having this complete series set should be quite convenient for not missing any!
These books are reviewed individually if you want more details on each.
Hardly any plot, no real story lines, nothing but sex scenes and I mean long drawn out for many pages sex scenes. That’s all theses stories are about, don’t waste your money.
Ten books of the same story, was cute to begin with but quickly became predictable and repetitive. If I had to read the words rebuttal or precum one more time i was going to scream. Don't waste time with this.
The only reason for 2 stars is that the individual plots, as well as the overall storyline in the entire series, was intriguing enough to make me continue reading despite the terrible writing and hideous punctuation. Bad writing and equally bad editing are not the only reasons for the low rating. Wrong usage of words; wrong expressions, often completely out of context; characters' mannerism not consistent with their culture; some character traits also not consistent with characters' culture... the list goes on and on. Serious obsession with “not dignify with rebuttal” when describing playful banter or non-argumentative discussion… or “cordial hug” when best friends meet after long absence… or “cordial gesture” when two lovers wake up in bed… I’m not going to dignify this idiocy with rebuke. It is my belief that Sarah J. Stone should keep her day job while taking English classes and spending a lot of time reading and learning North American culture while making use of dictionaries.
I'm setting here with tears running down my cheeks,
I love this series. I , most of the time , do not take the time to leave a review. EXCEPT when I have found stories that HAVE ALL my needs. These stories have done that. I read a lot, my Kindle has about 2300 books, and at least 3/4 of them are about Shifters. I love Shifters. And the biggest part of my books , to me, have checked most or all of my wants in a Really good READ. Excitement, Love, really good Plot, something to make me laugh, to make me cry, to make me wish I was There, to make ME want to give everyone a big hug n a kiss goodbye when I am done reading . This will be put on my " need to read Again. Thank you for writing this Series. I will be reading More of your books. Arky647
I love a good series, and this was one! For the first time I felt the ending to be a true one. Usually I almost always feel that there's "more", but not this time. All the characters, once introduced, are present, active and included in almost every book.
There are so many thoughts running around in my brain evoked by this story, but I'm at a loss in trying to express them. Overcoming discrimination based on teachings of elders, "A Mother's Love" for those not of her blood, non-judgmental acceptance of others, self-sacrifice for love, hope, honesty and courage despite fear versus hatred, vengeance, treachery, dishonesty, greed and self-empowerment. All powerful messages delivered with subtlety and caring. These are what spoke to me throughout the entire series.
I would say that 95% of the time I just thought these books were awesome. I can not say I have read a series before that I enjoyed as much. The lives and loves of the 3 brothers and 1 sister and one witch and a town that they love and protect. The oldest brother fought the Alpha to gain control of the pack which had been run by a man who ran the pack by fear. Raul won the fight and the respect of the pack. He proceeds to protect the pack and his town of humans.
The 5% I did not enjoy were the love scenes that were basically the same in each book. And some of it quite unbelievable.
But over all I would definitely recommend reading, I hope you enjoy them too.
While the bones of a good story are there this fell flat. Quite frankly, if you remove the sex scenes, this would work well with the teen crowd. The women had the attitudes of teens and not mature women, and they flipped their opinions and minds faster than they changed their scivvies, and could be pretty judgemental. The writing could be conflicting and some facts could have been rechecked, or better explained. All in all, unless you like a teen type romance, I'd skip this one.
So far I've only gotten thru the first 2 stories. There are moments that I'm really into the stories, then moments that I'm hating it and can't go any further. I can't really put my finger on why. Im a huge fan of shifter books. On mated couples. I love it all. I couldn't get into the characters. Im DNF this at this point, but I may return back to it at a later time to give the rest of this series another chance. I've be trying to read bits of it..and keep putting it down. For like 2 weeks. I just can't.
I enjoyed the stories in each book of this box set. However the author seriously needs some editing done. The fact that you have to mentally fix what you are reading to make sense of things makes a book much less enjoyable.
I’ll also say if you’re like me and want shifter stories but aren’t looking for erotic books, you’ll be skipping a lot of pages at the beginning of each book. I didn’t lower my rating for this however because I’m aware that for some reason it’s nearly impossible to find “adult” paranormal or urban fantasy books that don’t include this.
I love Paranormal series, but Sarah was also a new Author to me, so I decided to take a chance. I enjoy Sarah's style of writing, some of the scene 's in the book, I felt like I was there. Every book is enjoyable, alpha male's turning into much over a woman. But then is the ultimate protector, what woman wouldn't love that in the real world. I'm looking forward to reading more of Sarah's Series.
Chapter 2 - Our heroine puts our almost dead hero on her couch to treat him - my brain would not accept a doctor placing a patient on a soft, too small surface to treat their many injuries Chapter 3 & 4 - the choppy writing, the dialogue felt unnatural and lack of details in world building. Chapter 5 - Our heroine became TSTL by walking through unfamiliar woods, hiding and spying in a tree, and yet leaves when he tells her too
This series was great,to be able to follow their lives through all the problems they faced really brought these books to life. When you start reading you won't want to put it down. There's wolves, vampires, bears and witches. What a wonderful combination.Pick up this series you won't regret it.
I don't often write book reviews, but this was one of those series that you don't want to end. It grabs you right from the start and you find yourself drawn right into it. I truely wish there were more stories in this series, so I could learn more about Paxton and the pack.
About ten hero shifters and meeting their mates. Human females and male wolf shifters. Starts with Raul and Monica a doctor fall in love, then Dean with Kate who is a witch. Helena is a witch protector of the town and the Bradford brothers They battery vampires. Humans and they battle the Alpha before Raul
Wolf My home to the Bradford clan and so many more zany partnerships. From the very start these encounters bring love and extreme danger to everyone ending with a para military excursion and vampire battle. Love succeeds and mates are bonded. Fab storytelling and compelling genre.
I loved the main story lines in these book it show hope when people stand together and share a problem. That love can conquer all and that some rules are made to be broken. Little bits of the books in love scene seemed to repeat but it didn't defer from the actual story. GREAT SET OF BOOKS 😊
I really loved this box set, each story was linked and followed on from the first one. Though they were all about the pack each had it's own evil to deal with and some parts are really touching so have a tissue handy. if you love shifter books this set is for you.
I think it's a great series to read, I enjoyed the different actions because of situations they had to face as a family and the consequences of those actions good and bad. Sarah J. Stone did an amazing job
Average series. I didn't connect with the characters. The books are basically the same with different names. It's a nice enough series to read. I wouldn't buy the series though.
Could have been made into 2-3 longer books but loved that the story carried through out each book. Would have like more Melissa involved in the storyline pushed the princess line more
What a wonderful journey with 3 brothers and their mates. An incredible story of love and downright pig headedness. Too bad that kind of commitment only happens in stories. Thank you.
I really loved these books. The Bradford boys were stoic in their chase for love and their fights to get it. These made me laugh and I even cried real sobs. Great work! I recommend everyone to read these all together.
Witches and wolves , vampires and humans. Brothers and friends old and new. The thrill of the kill and fighting for the freedom to just be yourself. This series has it all.
This was great, the characters and their story, full of surprise and delight . You should have a great feeling after you have read this book from cover to cover I know I did.
I enjoyed the store's as they unfolded each stairs and turn of the character's trials and tribulations made me look forward too much more. I would recommend that all my friends read this collection and I'm looking forward to reading other books by this author.
This was such a wonderful series. I truly enjoyed the wonderful stories and felt like I knew each and everyone one. This author is wonderful and knows how to create great stories.
