Kristen Banet has a Diet Coke problem and smokes too much. She curses like a sailor (though, she used to be one, so she uses that as an excuse) and finds that many people don’t know how to handle that. She loves to read, and before finally sitting to try her hand at writing, she had your normal kind of work history. From tattoo parlors, to the U.S. Navy, and freelance illustration, she’s stumbled through her adult years and somehow, is still kicking.
She loves to read books that make people cry. She likes to write books that make people cry (and she wants to hear about it). She’s a firm believer that nothing and no one in this world is perfect, and she enjoys exploring those imperfections—trying to make the characters seem real on the page and not just in her head.
She might just be crazy, though. Her characters think so, but this can’t be confirmed.

Check out her social media to catch what's going on in the worlds inside her head. She drops teasers, new covers, and opens ARC reader slots through her Facebook group, The Banet Pride.

Fantastic Boxset with Bonus Short Story and Novella

I’d probably give this book 4.5 ⭐️ if I could.

This is a trilogy, with a short story and bonus epilogue novella at the end. The entirety of the story is included in this boxset, but there are other separate books/series that connect to the characters within this series.

Riley has lived in Wild Junction for the last 2 years. She was running away from a controlling and abusive ex and her car broke down in town. Kind people in the town adopted her and helped her find a job and an apartment and have kept an eye on her ever since. Her mother dies when she was 6 and her father walked out on her when she was 16. In foster care for two years after that she was on her own, except for the ex. The small but welcoming town has made her feel a part of something, even if she’s only a waitress in the diner. At 23 years old she’s starting to wonder what comes next, and how does she get there.

The boys who grew up on the Kingson Estate left 10 years ago and never came back. Brenton was the heir, Andrew the maid’s son who was Brenton’s best friend. Zachery was the unwanted son, who was be used against the Kingson family if at all possible and Gabe and Troy were two half brothers, born a month apart but raised together, fostered with the Kingson family for power and influence. When their parents all died within months of each other they became each other’s family and practically raised themselves.

When the Kingson boys, who are now definitely men, return to the Kingson Estate they hope to find a quieter life away from the hustle and bustle of Denver. When Riley meets the men, there is an instant attraction and she is introduced to a whole new world of money, power and politics and the danger that way of life brings. They also help her find out about herself in ways she never would have dreamed.

This is such a great story. The characters are well defined and interesting and throughout the course of the trilogy they all grown and change together as they begin to understand things about themselves and what is important enough to fight for. I really liked Riley. She was young when we first met her and enjoying her single life to the utmost. She partied with her friends and was trying to save up for a car. Getting involved with five men at once in a single polyamorous relationship, when at least one of the men is a billionaire has got to be daunting, but Riley just jumps in once she has made her choice and makes no apologies for it.

The world into which Riley is introduced is one of violence and passion. Her men provide the passion and they use violence to protect themselves. As Riley grows in confidence she learns to take charge and fight to keep herself and her loved once safe. She experiences pain and suffering and she just keeps on going. She becomes fierce in a way she wasn’t at the start of the books. All the changes she undergoes are believable and consistent with her personality and the events she experiences. This consistency of character development is one of the strengths of this author and it shines throughout this trilogy, not just with Riley but all the other characters too.

The construction of the society in which Riley finds herself is very well done. There are complex interactions between the different sectors of the community that create a fascinating world for Riley to explore. This society allows for the intricate plot of rivalries and alliances to be constructed that keeps the reader intrigued and unable to stop reading.

This is an excellent box set and I enjoyed re-reading the trilogy in this format immensely. I last read the individual books 3 years ago and it was high time for a re-read. I’m so glad I dove back into the very wonderful world of Wolf Junction.

Kingston Pride

Loved this book. Loved the dynamics of the pride. You experienced every emotion while reading this series. I would read anything by Kristen Banet. Having other shifters intermingled into the pride was fun and exciting. I would love to read more about all the prides. I hope she continues the stories.

DNF at 5%

I usually don’t rate books I DNF this fast but I just really hate this book.
The MFC is a jerk (biotch) and is rude to every single person. Even calling the nicest guy in town (Joey) an asshole because he got her a ride home during a snowstorm.
She asked her BRAND NEW BOSS for a ride all over town and then sent mean emoji faces at him after monologuing about how she couldn’t be around any of the guys. She came across as really arrogant and I didn’t have the patience to deal with that.

The MMCs only liked her cause she was hot. Troy said, and I quote, “I want to get a piece of that ass before we run her out of town” or something close.
Like gross. Grow up.

Characters aside, the plot was a little shaky. I didn’t get far but there were multiple contradictions. They said the snowy tiger couldn’t go outside, except in the snow because he couldn’t camouflage. But yet they own a huge house with a ton of acres just so they can run and shift without being seen?? And also the lion and cougar went out and the book even pointed out that they were very visible. If the snowy can only go out in the snow, shouldn’t they only go out in the summer??

This was all 5% in too.

Excellent!

Excellent, Thrilling, Suspenseful & so much more!

This series has everything that I love in a book & kept me hooked until the end.

Riley has lived in Wild Junction for the last 2 years just living her life but, that all changes 1 winter. When she 1st meets Troy who gives her a ride home from the store. Then Andrew who winds up being her boss at the diner. & then Zachary, Gabe & Brenton; but all of the guys know something about her that she doesn’t know about herself & that secret slings with theirs is what sets of Riley’s new beginnings.

This series goes thru the beginning, middle & a new beginning for them all especially when at the end of this series adding a new shifter to their pack.

This series has kidnappings, fights with the bad guys, killing the bad guys & lots & lots of sex scenes. It also had some tense moments when I hoped that no one died & I also found a new music group to listen to (Halestorm); which to me was an added perk. To me this series was excellent & I will re-read it again sometime in the future.

I love the books around the Kingson Pride. The story has it all. Dramas, Action and Love. And Kristen Banet didn't deter from sending the characters through the extremes.

For me, it was realistic because of the way the world, the instincts of the shifter (animal) nature was explained. Even if I have sometimes a hard time. The novella about the pregnancy was one. I might find the reactions realistic described, but that doesn't mean I was okay with it. Like the way they fought for dominance or the way Riley reacted after birth of the child. That I actually find distressing. I was sorry for the guys. Even if it had ended good. And I find it was a shame that we didn't get more to see. Like a glimpse of the childhood or if they will have more children. But all in one it was a conclusive ending.

Love this series!

I read and reviewed each of the three main books individually so I'm not going to repeat myself except to say that it was a great series and will always be one of my favorites.

I got this boxset for the express purpose of reading Wild Love. The extended epilogue 10 years in the future for Riley and the guys when they finally decide to start a family. It was really interesting to read about the different instincts of the guys based on their dominance level. And Riley's reaction after the birth. It rang true to me and that's what I live about Ms. Banet's writing. No matter the subject, there is always a realistic portrayal of the feelings and reactions. The guys are so sweet and understanding of Riley. It just makes me love them even more!!

I love this series and I solely bought this box set so I could read the bonus novella Wild Love at the end of the boxset, and it was so worth it. I love Riley and all her guys (Brenton, Zachary, Andrew, Troy and Gabe) and this bonus novella is great, I love reading the first three books Wild Pride, Wild Fire and Wild Souls and then the novella Wild Love and seeing where they all are 10yrs later and what everyone in Wild Juction is up to including The Wolves and Doe, The Fox, The Lioness and The Bear and his Wife and also Riley’s relationship with her Dad. Amazing boxset and I wish there were more stories coming from these characters.
This is the perfect place to start for any new Kristen Banet readers and also perfect for anyone who loves this series.

Flipping awesome. Soul food

This fed my need to read like a cure all potion. Loved it from beginning to end. Perfection. A must read. Please read and enjoy. I love the plot, the conflicts, the characters. It wasn’t too little or too much just right and so real. The sex was tastefully naughty. Loved it all. I didn’t know this was what I was looking for to read until I was in book too. My favorite thing about this trilogy and novelette was that it was exactly enough. It didn’t feel it ended too quickly or took to long to finish. That doesn’t happen often for me. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.

Really enjoyed the series. Riley is sassy and spunky, and I love her overall punk look and fierce personality. Big fan of authors that’s write in different characters POV so you can get to know and form attachments to them. The story had good character and relationship development, but with enough of a plot to keep it interesting with twists and action.
The kidnappings were exciting, and without it sounding morbid, when some of the main characters were hurt or struggling made it more interesting and I then felt more invested in the story (some books can be too fluffy and not relatable enough).

Love

I laughed, i cried, i fantasized! I raged! I feared!
The Kingston Pride was an amazing read!
What women don't want to be loved, cared for and cherished like this.
Riley went through so much, and so did the guys. I loved how they persevered through it all, i loved how Riley was able to nurture these men, i loved how they loved her and gave her the confidence to come into her own, to know her worth.
They gave her a family, she gave them the tools to forgive themselves.
And together they grew a Pride that was built on love and they gave each other the strenght they needed, to overcome and defeat, to forgive and grow.To start a new and better life for them all.

Oh My Heart!

This series! What can I say? That I adored it? True. That I was sad when it was done? I wanted to cry! I must say this though; These characters and this storyline were so vivid to me. More so than any books I have read recently. I have reviewed plenty of books recently where I have said that the characters were vivid, but when I say it about this series, well my perception of vivid has been blown away! I dare anyone who reads this series to not fall in love with this pride!

Rawr!

This series was a really good series and it broke my book slump. Book one was amazing and a great intro to the world. I quickly grew to love the whole pride and cheered for Riley as she came into her own.
Book 2 was a punch to the gut. Darker and full of gut wrenching revelations. Book 3 had me on the edge of my seat and speed reading because man I needed to know what happened next and who survived. The extra stories at the end were everything this story needed. On to the wolf pack because I need more of Wild Junction.

Loved it!

I read the Kingston Pride books 3 times already when I preordered this box set. It would have been worth it just for the ten years later novella at the end. I re-read the while thing though. Such an amazing series. When you come to the last page and are utter devastated that there aren't anymore pages to read, you know you have a great adventure. This was worth every penny I spent on it.

Interesting medium burn RH

I enjoyed the stories. The five lovers were a good mix of personality. I felt that some of the hotter scenes were glossed over, and I wouldn't have minded more.
The story lines for each book seemed redundant, but I can understand how it tied together and made it less hokey than other books. I really enjoyed the two stress free novellas attached to the box set. They were a welcome reprieve from the action packed original stories.

Kingson Pride

Thank you, Kristen Banet, for sharing this wonderful shifter reverse haren trilogy with extended epilogue. The characters were well done, both villains and good guys. My most favorite was Sheriff. The guys of the Pack we're exciting and exhilarating but Sheriff was heart 💓 when it was needed.
Thanks again.

Excellent

I stumbled across this and I don't know why I've never read this author before! The character development of the heroine from a closed off, needs no one, abuse survivor to a strong, loving make no apologies woman was phenomenal. The series itself was great, very suspenseful and while there was plenty of sexy times, the story flowed seamlessly.

Intense

You get a lot for your money. It’s a detailed complex reverse harem. It would be four stars but there are sexual assaults and torture. There just were too graphic and seemed unnecessary to me. The assault trauma also felt rushed over which I found disturbing. But I pushed through as I wanted to know how the story ended.

Great series!

I really enjoyed this series. Being that it was a first for this author, it's still a little rough. Some editing issues, which for the most part do not take away from the series itself and overall it's a great read. Love the characters, love the progression. Just overall a great, easy read. Not my favorite series by this author but worth the read.

I feel like I read a different book than everyone giving it a 5 star :/

I couldn’t even finish this tbh, read about 2/3rds? of the first book and I was done with the whole “whispering in her ear”. The time skips didn’t make me appreciate the characters or learn to love them and the writing was just not my cup of tea I guess.

On to a better book :)

Big Cats! A big cat shifter reverse harem in 3rd person. This box set was great. Found family, self discovery, finding love, intrigue, and mystery. These characters grow throughout the book as they find themselves through their trials and tribulations. Riley and her guys are strong and really enjoyed their story.

Must buy

I love this series and was so psyched for this boxed series with a side story!! Omg I want more, but I also understand it’s time for the author to put a close on her writing for one world. I can’t wait to read more of her spin offs on this series!

Great series - great read

Grabs you from the start and keeps getting better! The progression from Book 1 to the end of the series including the extra book - yes there is an extra book after the trilogy - finishes the series beautifully.

Great stories. the Three books flow together. Having an epilogue rounded it out. I enjoyed the characters and the relationship with their shifters sides. Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys RH and shifter stories.

Brilliant

Really enjoyed this storyline and the eventual outcome, some of these dramas can become very intense too the point out of putting with violence and drama, but this had just enough to keep the storyline moving without all the characters being irredeemable.

Love it

I really enjoyed reading the Kingson Pride box set. There is so much action and emotional things going on in the series. Some points I was worried over what was going to happen and other times I was crying over what happens. This is a really great series.
