The Sky of Endless Blue is book twelve in the Dare Valley series by Ava Miles. I read this series years ago and recently stumbled on the realization that I never read the final book! I don’t know how that happened but I vowed to remedy that fact! Even though my memory is vague when it comes to all the previous characters in this series, a lot of it came back to me as I got reacquainted with everyone. Truthfully, you can read these as stand alones. But the characters do appear in each other’s books. So your enjoyment would be greater by starting at the beginning. This is J.T and Caroline’s story!
J.T. Merriam is thirty five years old. He is very wealthy but works hard in the family business. Five years ago, he fell in love with Cynthia Newhouse But it didn’t take long to realize that the woman he married is not the woman he thought she was at all. She was cold and uncaring. He tried his best but after two years, he asked for a divorce. Then he spent the next three years fighting tooth and nail to reach an agreement. Finally now, five years since he first married her, his divorce is final. And it’s just in the nick of time because he has met someone else.
Caroline Hale is the great niece of Arthur Hale, the owner of the newspaper in Dare Valley, Colorado. Caroline runs an art gallery in Denver. When she first met J.T. it was obvious there was an attraction there that went both ways. But he kept things platonic between them and she didn’t know why. We later learn he was waiting for his divorce to be done. Then he was going to make his big move to win her over.

J.T. is in the process of opening a museum at the university in Dare Valley that was founded by his grandfather. And he has asked Caroline to be the curator for the museum. It will be his life’s greatest accomplishment to do this with Caroline. J.T. thought that after his divorce was final, he and Caroline would be free to begin a new chapter of their lives with his ex wife in the past. But he was wrong. She was not done and she wanted revenge. Now it seems that everyone in his life is in her cross-hairs. Was the idea of a new and happy life with Caroline in Dare Valley just a dream? Would it be safer for everyone if he left?

This really was so good. I can’t believe all that J.T., Caroline and their families had to go through. I felt terrible for them. And I loved that we got a kind of side story with Uncle Arthur in this. I don’t want to say anything else about that except that it was such a perfect way to wrap up this series. I was even more surprised that J.T.’s twin brother, Trevor Merriam is the main character of the first book in a brand new spin off series, The Merriams Series, called Wild Irish Rose. They sound so good!

Dare Valley you will be missed. When I read my first Ava Miles novel, Nora Roberts Land, I ecstatic knowing I had found a new series and a new author whose work I could devour.
The Sky of Endless Blue give us the HEA for Caroline Hale and J.T. Merriam as well as another second chance romance I did not see coming.
Caroline Hale and J.T. Merriam, fight for their budding romance as they are faced by an unexpected challenge in the form of J.T.'s ex-wife.
The story and the characters are well written, their personal complexity is what makes the book a great read. The actions and reaction the characters have to the situations they face are believable, accurate and consistent.
Not only do the protagonists get their moments to shine, but all the residents of Dare Valley get to play a role in this book. It is always good catching up with family and thats what this book felt like to me.
The Sky of Endless Blue can be read as a stand alone, but you will want to read all the other books in this series as well.
The Sky of Endless Blue was the perfect ending and new beginning to the next series. As much as it pains to let go of characters that became family to me. I cant wait to read new material from the author.

Wonderful
What a truly wonderful ending to a very enjoyable series. Ava Miles stories always capture and keep me enthralled throughout. Caroline and J.T.'s story is no different in that regard. I must say though, that Arthur Hale has always had a very strong role in these books, but none quite like this one. I truly believe you could pick up this book and fall in love with with this town and the residents, but oh you will definitely then want to read all of the stories of the characters mentioned which starts with the ever popular Nora Roberts Land. Thank you Ms. Miles for this great series.

Disappointing
Ava Miles is one of my favorite authors, and I always enjoy her books. This one however, was very disappointing. The hero, J.T. Was annoying. He was constantly running away thinking he was “protecting” his family and the woman he loved. It all worked out in the end and I was glad to see romance come to Uncle Arthur.

Probably more a 3.75... I would have liked a little more of the "Why" for the ex-wife's behavior--yes, it's explained, but... I don't know, something seemed missing. I almost wish this was more about Uncle Arthur and the developments surrounding him...

Usually love these books, but this one didn't do it for me. Too much Uncle Arthur parts, not enough with J.T. and Caroline. Plus, J.T. was a huge let down. Always running away from everything and not taking a stand, letting his Ex trample all over him. It was embarrassing.

Had high hopes for this book. I really liked JT in Home Sweet Love And was anxious to read his story. But he turned out to be an utter disappointment. Caroline deserved better.

Although the same narrator was used for the entire series, she changed voices for some of the characters and it is upsetting. This happened to several of the characters in the last couple of books.

I feel in love with this series when I first started reading Ava Miles books and this did not disappoint me at all. This book gets you from the minute you start it, this is my favorite in the series. The Sky of Endless Blue is the story of Caroline Hale and J. T. Merriam that we have been waiting for. They seem so perfect for each other, ready to start their lives on a new journey working together on building and running an Art Museum in their favorite place, Dare Valley. J. T’s ex-wife has different intentions and is not happy that they are divorced, determined to destroy both J.T and Caroline, and she does a good job of getting to everyone. This book talks about the power of love, family and all the good things we need in life. This is a very emotional and heartfelt story as you get sucked in with all that is happening with J.T. and Caroline. I absolutely love that so many of the characters from the series are all included in this story as I love them all and do feel the deserve some time in all the stories.
If you have not started reading this series you are missing out, come join the love and Ava Mile’s amazing talents.

The Sky of Endless Blue is the last of the Dare Valley series. All of the books can be read as a standalone. Do yourself a favor, read all of them! They are informative, fun and pull at your heart.
This is the story of J.T. Merriam and Caroline Hale. J.T. is the great-grandson of the founder of the university in Dare Valley. J.T. has received approval from the board to build and open and at museum that will at the university. Caroline is the great-niece of Emmit's best friend, Arthur Hale, the owner of the Dare Valley newspaper. Caroline works at the Leggett Art Gallery in Denver. Caroline is helping J.T. evaluate the family art collection. It was unexpected that both feel a romantic tug. J>T> must hold off on any romance until his ugly divorce proceedings are resolved. Cynthia Newhouse, J.T.'s former spouse is seeking to ruin the man.
This book is about new relationships, leaving hurt behind, moving forward, and confronting the people who are damaging your life. This book made me mad, happy, and sad. I cried and I laughed out loud. I am so very sorry to see the series end. When I read these books I feel like I am part of the Dare Valley families. Read the book - it is wonderful!!

The end of such a great series! This felt like two stories in one, since we get a HEA for J.T. and Caroline as well as Arthur and Clara. Poor J.T. really goes through the ringer in this book, and you can't help but sympathize with him. I loved that Caroline stood by him no matter what. I so enjoyed their romance! I will admit that I probably should have re-read Home Sweet Love before reading this book. This story starts with J.T. and Caroline in Paris and while they have essentially admitted their attraction to each other, J.T. is holding off on pursuing a relationship until he settles unfinished business. I did love watching their time in Paris, but I think I personally would have enjoyed it a bit more if I had remember their first meeting, etc.
Arthur is quite a character, and he really steals the show here! I really enjoyed his storyline and it tugged at the heartstrings! It was so nice to catch up with previous characters, and the epilogue was a really nice closing of the series. I can't wait to see what Ms. Miles comes out with next!

I love this final book in the Dare Valley series. And finally, finally we get the love story of Arthur Hale and Clara Merriam. Their story was very much the secondary love story in this novel; it's just I've been waiting for it.
This book is really about Caroline Hale and J.T. Merriam and their long-ago childhood friendship that blossoms into love when they meet each other again in their early 30s. J.T. hires Caroline as his resident art expert to help him catalogue his family's extensive art collection in order to open an art museum at the college founded by his grandfather in Dare Valley. Everyone is excited about the possibilities and Caroline and J.T. bond over great art in Rome, Napa, New York, Denver (it sounded fabulous). Unfortunately, J.T. is also dealing with a psychotic ex-wife who is willing to do whatever it takes to make J.T. miserable - including hurting the people he loves the most (such as getting Caroline fired from her art gallery position). There are so many books in which the woman has to deal with an abusive ex that reading about a guy trying to deal with a psycho ex.

The Sky of Endless Blue is the last Dare Valley book. I felt in love with this series since my first Ava Miles book. The Sky of Endless Blue is the story of Caroline Hale and J. T. Merriam and their ups and downs. They seem so perfect for each other, ready to start their lives together, in their favorite place, Dare Valley. Unfortunately J.T.’s ex-wife is determined to destroy them both. This book is a very emotional story and you get sucked in with all that is happening with J.T. and Caroline. At the end, love and family conquers all. It will leave you wanting to find out more. Ava Miles does it again. This book is another winner and you will love this story. I'm sad to see the Dare Valley series come to an end, but I'm looking forward to reading all about the Merriams.

I have been looking forward to Caroline’s and J T story and Ava Miles hasn’t let me down.
J T has been hiding a secret he was married but his divorce has just come through and he’s ready to start his new life in Dare Valley and start a romance with Caroline unfortunately his evil ex wife has other ideas and is out to ruin everything and everyone that has anything to do with J T.
Plenty of characters from past books make appearances throughout the story including Uncle Arthur who has his own battles of sadness and joy which also includes the surprise of a past love that comes back into his life in the form of J T’s estranged Aunt Clara and her ancient butler Hargreaves.
I loved this story get your tissues at the ready.

What a fantastic way to end the series. J.T. and Caroline's story was simply magical in that they had an honest to goodness love for one another. They stuck by one another during all of the turmoil with the museum and a witch of an ex-wife. I loved how Arthur was so gung ho on getting to the bottom of the situation so that J.T. and Caroline could get on with their lives. It was great to see all of the other characters come into this book and how they supported J.T. and Caroline. This book had comedy (tequila), love, heartache and even a bit of suspense in wondering how they were going to put a stop to Sin City (loved that nickname). I also thoroughly enjoyed Trevor! Thank you for a great story!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and here is my honest review.
I can't say I liked this book, I Love Love Loved it. It was so good to see everyone from the previous books make an appearance, even Noah and Anna.
Poor J.T. his ex-wife will stop at nothing to make sure he is never happy and it doesn't matter to her who she hurts. Everyone's favourite Uncle, Grandfather Arthur Hale is caught up in it too. Secrets from the past are revealed.
I don't want to give any spoilers away especially if you have read the entire series of Dare Valley, but I can highly recommend this book.
This is the last book in this series but I can't wait for it to continue in Ireland with Trev who just happens to be J.T's brother.

This love story of J. T. and Caroline warmed my heart so much. I laughed and sometimes cried through out this story. The villain in the story is Cynthia Newhouse and she is set to destroy J. T. and Caroline's love. Of course it is a long battle, but in the end it all works out. I also love that Arthur Hale and Clara Merriam got together. I just love them both; Arthur is a hoot and so is Clara. I'm sorry to see this series of Dare Valley end, but I'm looking forward to reading all about the Merriam series. Thank you so much Ava for giving us this wonderful series of Dare Valley. Can't wait till I read the next book.

It's bittersweet to read this one because it's the last Dare Valley book. I loved this series so much and sad to see come to an end. I will say Ava Miles ended this one beautiful book. She did an amazing job on J.T.'s ex because I disliked her so much. She's in the top list of most disliked characters I've read. She's a nasty piece of work, but that's what makes J.T. and Caroline's journey to find love all the more rewarding. It's not going to smooth sailing for these two, but with the support of their families they can fight their way to their HEA. I really got sucked into the story. As always I love revisiting characters from previous books in the series. I thought the epilogue was the perfect touch to end this series on, but also set up the next series. I'm intrigued and can't wait!

Oh my goodness! What a rollercoaster. I have loved the entire Dare Valley series. This finale? Ooft! There were tears, chuckles, grunts of anger (seriously wanted to hurt one of the characters!), heartbreak (please don't ever scare me like that again Ava Miles!), and heart swells. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. So much so, that I didn't put it down to just past midnight last night/this morning, then had to get up for the school run and get to work. Well worth it though. Cannot recommend this book any higher. Seriously, go get it!

I felt so sorry for J.T. Here he is thinking that once his divorce is final he can move on with his life and leave all the bad stuff behind. Wrong! His ex just won't let it go. No one leaves her and she is out for revenge. He quit his job, gave away his money and still she wants more. J.T. reconnected with Caroline after many years and knows that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his day with, but his ex isn't finished torturing him yet. She has been torturing him for 3 years and still thinks it isn't enough. Now she is going after Caroline and anyone else that J.T. loves. When is enough, enough? He is going to have to play dirty just like is ex, but can he do it?

I have recently become a fan of Ava Miles and started reading this series first. I immediately fell in love with her style of writing! I was very excited to see the newest installment to the Dare Valley series. I became instantly involved with poor JT's plight to get away from his ex-wife and start all over again with the woman he was meant to be with. One thing that I also enjoy is a strong heroine. Caroline is not a pushover and is willing to deal with JT's stalking ex-wife. I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves romance, family values and a little nail biting to hope for a HEA, then this is definitely the read for you!!!

Of all of the Dare Valley books, this might have been my favorite. Which I guess is fitting since it's the last on the series. I love these characters as if they are my own family. I love the Sunday dinners which we have too. Ava Miles writes from her experiences and her love stories are real and filled with struggles, like in real life. See I JT and Caroline dance through some pretty dramatic issues but still profess their love for each other was so lovely. I had tears in my eyes with the other love story in this book, which I won't give away - you just have to read to find out. Sad this series is ending but hopeful to see the characters in future stories from Ava Miles.

Sadly, this is the last of the Dare Valley series, but what a way to go out! I loved this book, I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I got mad. What I found especially lovely was that intertwined in JT’s story, was a surprise happily ever after for family patriarch Arthur Hale. When I read a Dare Valley book, I feel like I’m surrounded by old friends, and this one was no different, many came to visit, added their personalities to the new story and brought all the books together. Go read this, you won’t be disappointed.

I love this series by Ava Miles! If you aren't yet a reader of her books you are definitely missing out. She writes stories with charming small towns and big "feels" involving the people who live in them.
The Sky of Endless Blue is the story about J.T. Merriam and Caroline Hale. After J.T. walked away from his family he deserves a much needed second chance at love, but his ex has plans to destroy everything he has rebuilt in Dare Valley. J.T. finds during this his family and friends are ready to rally behind him when he needs them the most.

If you haven’t discovered Dare Valley yet, you are missing out. The Sky of Endless Blue is the last in this series and what a wrap-up!! This book is full of family, friends, tears and joy. It has it all in a warm, feel good story that will leave you wanting to find out more about the wonderful characters; in a good way. Ava Miles never lets you down when you pick up one of her books.

The Sky of Endless Blue is a wonderful story set in Dare Valley. I really liked the characters of J.T. and Caroline and I really disliked Cynthia. Ava writes such extraordinary characters. Grandpa Hale is a wonderful man and thoroughly beloved by his family. The family bond is so strong and admirable. I felt the torment that J.T. and Caroline were going through and the hope that this relationship will continue. I utterly enjoyed the Dare Valley series and Ava Miles ended this series on such a high note. You will absolutely enjoy this story!
