Book Title: Baptism by Fire: The Hunt for Missing Island ( Book 3 )
Author: Saumya Chaki
Format: Kindle

Book Title:
The title of the story is mysterious and as well exciting.

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is a colorful digitalized photograph of two young men in official wear and a revolver below explains that it is a thriller.

Plot:
The story is about two young men, Samrat Sanyal , an ex- CBI officer and Aveek Gupta, IT professional in security systems and cybercrime are long-term friends this time determine themselves to explore the three islands near Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands that went missing after the Tsunami in 2004. With the help of the Government Agencies that look after the Oceans and its habitats, the duo explores, investigate, and restore the natural habitat that some peddlers and short-term criminals who once where fishermen tried ruining.

The story is an interesting read with altogether a different storyline but the topic of drugs being a constant substance of all the stories in the series.

What I like:
1. The fantastic plot
2. Many technical things explained that are actually implemented in reality by the Oceanography researches and investigators.
3. The interlinks between the offenders of the land and their activities

What I didn't like:
1.  At places, explanation about food and places of food felt boring.
2.  The concept of finding the lost island was dominated by the crimes featured in the story.

Characters:
All the characters are plotted well.

Narration:
An interesting narration is observed.

Language & Grammar:
A very simple language with easy grammar is found.

My Final Verdict: A different type of inquisitive story.

The Hunt for the missing island's story is as intriguing as the title seems. Its more like a treasure hunt. Samrat Sanyal and Aveek Gupta are in the mission to search those islands lost after a Tsunami. And finally they came with flying colours by restoring the natural habitat of those islands. So many technology related stuffs were highlighted thus, making the narration interesting. Pros apart, at few points, the narration seemed monotonous as the food habits and certain plsces are over explained. Even the crime scenes seemed to have been streched. Anyway, found it better than what's expected, thus, glad I am and looking forward to the twists and turns from the next sequel.
