Not great
So where do I start?
I don't like that the h is a club girl.
The synopsis is misleading. It leads you to believe that the H has decided to claim the h. Like he is going to go after her really hard because he loves and wants her maybe. However, up until the very end he is pushing her away.
And speaking of the end it felt rushed. Almost as if she realized her word count was up and she needed to hurry up and come up with an ending. Or maybe she ran out of ideas and that's what she could come up with on the fly because her deadline was approaching.
Also speaking of the ending how the heck does an MC book end up with the enforcer leaving the MC? I did not care for that at all. I actually really hated that. I also didn't like how they ended up being good friends with the cop and his wife. Not that that in and of itself is bad but just didn't Jive for me, didn't gel well with the story.
Also the book was heavy on the so-called romance and light on the MC. I like an MC story that has a mixture of both. Also, the MC seemed weak. Like you've got this one man causing havoc and the MC doesn't Strike Back. Doesn't fight back. Doesn't do anything but turn on one of their own. Instead of banding together and closing ranks they turn on the H and ask the h to lay low which is the equivalent of asking her to leave.
And I didn't like how the H believed Lily so easily.
I normally don't leave reviews unless I feel really strongly about a book. As in I really love it or I really hate it. In the case of this book I read it based on all the positive reviews. And either the people reviewing this book don't know quality reading when they have it in their face or their standards are very low or maybe they were reading a different story, but I was very disappointed in this book. I'm really glad that I got it on my Kindle unlimited so I don't have to have this disgrace for a book on my Kindle and I can return it. I will not be reading any other stories by this author as it was my first one and it has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
I only gave it two stars instead of one because the sex scenes were really good.

Alpha is an incredibly written passionate book that revolves around Michael, aka "Speed" as well as the strong woman that also happens to hold his heart, Dakota. Within these amazing pages you will find plenty of drama as well as two souls that were saved by The Sinners MC. Ms Pierce has nailed a very descriptive world surrounding around the MC lifestyle as well as the struggles they face. It takes an Author like Ms Pierce who is beyond talented to suck us right into a book where we don't let up until the end. All you will be is engrossed in this captivating tale of danger, intrigue, drama and and a love so strong... You want that. You'll be left as I am, wanting more and being as impatient as can be waiting for the next superb release from Ms Pierce.

A great first story of the Sinners MC, the actions and interactions from club members and others were written so that the reader was not overwhelmed with keeping track of too many new characters. This was Speed and Dakota's story with lots of action and their awareness of each other, and lots of sexy drama. The chemistry of the story was more than just between Speed and Dakota, it was felt throughout the MC. "Alpha" was a great first story in the series, with Speed and Dakota getting their HEA and an intro into a few others in the club. I look forward to reading more of the Sinner MC series, and would like to thank the author for gifting me "Alpha". My opinion is my own. This is mine. Recommend, 4.5 Stars!

Speed is the bad boy enforcer for the Sinners, and Dakota is a feisty female who has captured his attention. This is a beautifully written story which is dark, intense, steamy, and filled with action, drama, intrigue, violence, love and passion. I was totally intrigued and captivated throughout, and I cannot wait to read more of this extremely talented authors’ work. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all MC lovers!

When Dakota is "given" to her boss' boyfriend as his new toy, she finds that Speed lives up to his club name. Speed realizes very quickly that Dakota has brains as well as beauty and the sex scenes between the two were good reading. There was some suspense in this story as well and luckily "good" triumphs over evil as a new power couple was born.

Oh Dakota, what where you thinking when you challenged Speed Stiles to a drinking competition, all for a kiss. She just wants to be his “old lady” but Speed won’t be tied down . But will he change his ways when he finds out she is having his baby !!!!! A story of rival MC gangs, revenge, passion, drama and so much more. Dakota and Speed finding out if they have a relationship amongst all the madness and mayhem. Loved it

A bad boy action packed story strong intimate scenes it got me hooked great storyline and characters great start to a series worth reading and five stars I look forward to the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Pretty good...
This was a pretty good MC book. I didn’t see anything fierce or filthy about it though. All in all it was a pretty tame and predictable story but not a total waste of time.

Not what I would have expected from an MC romance but it was ok. Speed and Dakota seemed to fit each others but your are kind of hanging or rushed thru the ending.
