Let me first say I love Ed Mylett and he is consistently putting out great content in the area of self education and becoming a better version of yourself in all arenas of your life. That being said I was a little disappointed when I opened my package in the mail and the book was more like a booklet. If you follow him on social media then you know his story and his personal philosophy on Maxing Out your life and you can skip this book as it's really just retelling the same things he covers there but with less detail. The book serves more like an outline of what areas in your life you can focus on that benefit you overall but with no in depth pointers leaving the reader to scratch his head. The book felt a little rushed, if Ed would have gone deep into each area as he has in his interviews the book would have been a 5 star instead of a courteous 3. I do highly recommend you visit his YouTube channel where he does a tremendous job interviewing his outstanding guest.

Just like any other self-help book, nothing special.
Also way too short, and too much promotion for his podcast.
Although, I really like Ed Mylett, and his content online is Amazing!

There’s a lot to unpack with this book. Short yet informative and extremely powerful, I listened to the audiobook and it seemed almost like a motivational podcast. If you can’t get amped up after hearing that ending, nothing will! There was is so much wisdom to take in that I’ll definitely need to re-listen again. My only dislike (if you want to call it that) is that I wish it was longer and there was a bit more depth within each chapter. While I really enjoyed it, almost felt like motivational quote after motivational quote. I wanted a bit more context.

Overall a very good and easy self help read. Some of the advice is a bit extreme, but does a nice job of providing real life examples and metaphors to his advice giving it another sense of credibility. Would definitely recommend to read as someone looking to adopt new habits in hopes to #MAXOUT their life. Also shoutout to ED for the shameless plugs of his other podcasts and endeavors truly inspirational bag getting on his part.

This book is a Solid distillation of a Winning Mindset. It's amazing how you hear the same words coming out of the most successful people in the world in every discipline imaginable. It never gets old because it's timeless and true. You need to hear the truth being told repeatedly to engrave it in the stones of your mind. It’s the same thing with lies, propaganda, and mass media brainwashing. The more time you hear the same things the more conditioned you become to believe them. Repetition is the source of all the magic in the world. Black magic is the result of the incessant repetition of falsehoods until you doom enough people into believing them by force of habit. You're a victim of black magic if you submit to the narrative being propagated around you in the world without you questioning its validity and the authority that forces it upon you. White magic happens as you are pursuing knowledge, wisdom, and truth with unrelenting intention. White magic is the result of being immersed in the words and thoughts of those who you actively seek to learn from. This is why hearing, reading, and writing the same thoughts over and over again is the only way to plow your own path to freedom. Thoughts are dangerous and all those who govern people know the imperative of controlling the thoughts of the masses because thoughts become actions, actions become habit, habits become character, and character becomes destiny. This is why this lean mean successful mindset starter by Ed Mylett should be handled with its due reverence. In the age of zero attention span, it’s become of the utmost importance to deliver massive value in a pill easily swallowed in zero time. I used to be massively partial to long-form content and the beefy material in big books, but not I know that the delivery of the main principles in an easily digestible short-form content gives out massive results. Long well thought out content that covers every single aspect of the topic will always have its place for those who want to go on a full immersion journey with knowledge. But such succinct small amuse-bouche high octane short success mindset books can sustain a person on the journey of self-mastery. I love the book and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be on the path of success, health, wealth, and abundance.

A great mini-book short enough to read and reread regularly in only 2 hours, and yet it has all the essentials to #MAXOUT. Highly recommended.

I only give 5 stars if something is a game-changer or I have learnt multiple new things but this mini-book is amazing although I listened to the audiobook version of this which I recommend you doing also. People like Ed are great motivators you just need to check out his content on YouTube and Instagram to see what I mean. The amount of notes you will take from this is endless. It was a great listen and will most definitely apply some of the new things I learnt to my life and continue to do the ones I already know which he stated in this book.

A really light book .91 pages that summarize a lot of points mentioned in many self-help, books. I rated it a 4 cause I didn't read that much of new content, but I loved some quotes. I would definitely reread this whenever I am lost and need a reminder.

This book really captures Ed's voice. I could hear him the entire time I read. I was hooked from the start and it didnt take long for me to finish.

I was a little annoyed that instead of delving into certain topics, he would instead plug his podcast and tell the reader to go there for more information. I really think those could have been left out and instead actually delve into the topic. I think it is the biggest reason the book is so short. It's not a deep read whatsoever and he really missed an opportunity to really talk to the reader.

If you're in WFG you'll recognize this book as a rendition of his Vegas speech. It's a really short and honestly it feels like he wanted his speech to be spread further than just within the business. It's a good book for a teammate who isn't a huge reader or has just started a habit of regular reading as this book is fast.

Ed is consistently putting out high quality content on peak performance and self improvement and this book is no exception. In the past several months since I discovered Ed, I personally have gotten SO MUCH out of his videos, interviews, and podcasts, so I decided to pick up his book, which is "free" from his website (just pay shipping). It's a concise 100 page book that contains the basics of his philosophies on living your best life. You've probably heard some of it before if you are familiar with his content. It's all about creating the life you want to live, and ultimately becoming the best version of yourself. The book is very easy to read and 100% worthwhile in my opinion.

Ed Mylett has so much gold off in this book and it’s straight to the point! I actually went through this book twice and made a bit more clarity on my own endeavors in life. I had to recommend this over to a few of my friends to let them know about this mindset. Ed also has an amazing podcast that he mentions in here that goes even further and into other aspects of life.

Sometimes I wonder where where these people at when I had my earlier challenges. This book will for sure give you a perspective that is necessary when working to achieve great feats in life. I’m just glad I found it before I fell into any hardships and became distracted.

Ed hits it out the park with this one!

If you are looking for a short summary of key ways to become the best version of yourself I highly recommend this book. There is so much wisdom in this book. The section on self confidence being linked to your identity, is brilliant! He states that" Our self-confidence, or what we believe we are worth, equals our identity. Identity is how we see ourselves, and you can never, at least long-term have success beyond your identity. This is very true!.. Also how he defines a wage as " nothing more than a bribe a business owner has paid someone to work on his or her dreams instead of there own" powerful!

I go back and forth between 3 and 4 star.

3 star because there is very little depth in this book. There is a lot of good but obvious points made but he never gets into the details. Especially if you're a big reader of self-improvement books there isn't A LOT of value in this you haven't heard before.

4 star because it's definitely worth reading. It's only 100 pages long and there are 3-4 points - on Identity, Your Mind, and Ritutals that alone make it worth the investment.
