I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

If there is one thing I dislike, it’s when people begin to tell others about things they don’t really know anything about. Because to me these individuals are like the false prophet that are written about in Revelation 19:20 [ESV]

“And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.”
Instead, I concur with what the author of this book, Tony Agnesi, is trying to communicate to his readers, including me, as he writes about individuals who have taken the afflictions the Lord has given them and have turned those afflictions into something far more positive. Which sometimes winds up becoming their mission in life, a mission which the Lord might have wanted to have in his plan for them.

The author even mentions this in his description for his book.

I believe this might be part and parcel of what is stated in 1 Peter 2:21 [ESV]

“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.”

For having written this book asking his readers, including myself, to always be the best they can ever be in their lives; I’m happy to have written this review and to give Mr. Agnesi the 5 STARS he’s gotten from me.

Agnesi book

I liked this book but was bothered by the section which enjoins us to be the best version of ourselves. Agnesi & Matthew Kelly’s book on being the best version of yourself are almost word for word. Great minds think alike? Quoting sans attribution? Resemblance is so strong that it was startling. That being said, the reflections are well worth reading & a gentle reminder of what we should be practicing in our lives.
