Wedding dress—check. Walking down the aisle—check. Saying "I do"—well…
Olivia Barrett has had her fill of disappointment when it comes to the men in her life. After a rude awakening with Chase, she finds herself back with Evan only to have her world turned upside down once more.
Secrets have been revealed, and giving up seems like a viable option, but Chase weasels his way back into her heart. Wooing her off her feet and promising her the world is easy for Chase, but Olivia is hesitant to give herself over to him so fully. Trust must be earned and even though Chase gives her no reason to doubt his love, Olivia can’t help but hold back.
When everything comes to a head, Olivia realizes her love for Chase cannot be matched, but is the decision to stay with him really hers, or will circumstances out of her control decide for her?
Review by Lisa Kane Drawn to You ended on a huge cliffhanger. Olivia was just about to marry Evan, the boyfriend who wormed his way back into her life after cheating on her. Just before they are about to say their vows Chase has interrupted the wedding. He's here to prove to Olivia that she is making a huge mistake and he didn't come alone.
Well this is one way for a wedding celebration to nosedive quickly. When the truth comes to light, Olivia does what she needs to do. But what about Olivia seeing Chase and the half dressed woman in his apartment? Does he have a believable explanation? Can Olivia trust him or is her heart so shattered by all the deception around her that she can't give him another chance?
Despite telling Chase that they need to take things slowly, Olivia jumps back into Chase's crazy, over the top, too rich for words life. There are expensive wines and meals and fabulous clothes. Chase waste no time in whisking Olivia back into his life. He is an alpha to the max and more than once she has to remind him she lived in a gilded cage with Evan, she doesn't want or need anyone doing that to her again.
Lost Without You's storyline is mostly comprised of Olivia and Chase spending time together and making love. There is little angst or drama. Near the end there are some dramatic moments but for the most part I had no read connection to this story. I was looking for more depth to their story and less sex. Evan managed to stir up some trouble and those were the times that held my interest.
I like how Chase sweeps Olivia off her feet & whisk her away on an island of sun, sand, beach & plenty of waves and drinks. Swirls her with love, care, attention & protection. Along with some mischievous adventures. On a wild ride with a long island ice tea at your service. You'll be more attempted to crave for fish tacos than you would be getting a rash by the coral sumac tree. Oh, that Evan, what he did to Olivia, If I was able to jump inside a book & become a character, I would have kicked, smacked, punched & tied him up & poisoned that creep of a scumbag. Thank god, he's behind bars.
This book is the second book to the chasing Olivia series. This, book was great could not put down. Chase interrupts Olivia and Evans wedding. Chase also sets her straight about the blonde coming out of his apartment. While working on their relationship. Someone breaks into Olivias apartment. Scares her and chase. Chase has a bad feeling about going to Italy without her. Olivia sets him straight saying don't worry. She'll be ok. Will she? Need to read.
The second novel in the Chasing Olivia series picks up immediately after Drawn to You, where Olivia is about to make a huge mistake. Thank my lucky stars for Chase, because he is the answer to my prayers when he came and stop her!
Some may be wondering why Olivia took quite some time before realising her love for Chase, but reading Lost Without You has the answer. Her heart is broken more than once, and she needs time for herself.
I love how the author didn’t rush Olivia into another relationship with Chase! Instead, the author gave her time to think through what she truly wants in her life. Chase is, of course, a gentleman when it comes to the well-being of Olivia, but probably not so when it’s physical.
(Hint: There are some really steamy scenes in this novel! *winks*)
Honestly, I did not expect Olivia’s mother to continue siding with a man who cheated and hurt her daughter’s feelings even after Chase revealed a secret. Even though there are explanations as to why her mother behaved this way, I’m still shaking my head when I read about it.
I already know how much of an asshole Evan was (and still is), I just did not expect him to be so…psychotic. Seriously, he could take the meaning of ‘psychotic’ into a whole new level. He is one crazy asshole!
One of the thing I love about this novel, is that the characters are never perfect. Chase may seem like he’s the perfect man for Olivia, but when it comes to emotions wise, he is still pretty new at it.
(I’m pretty sure I have revealed almost everything right about now so I’ll stop before my feels get the better of me!)
Lost Without You is a heartbreakingly beautiful conclusion to Drawn to You and highly recommended for readers who would love a good love story that feels real!
*Thank you to the author for providing me with an eARC in exchange for a honest review.
Lost Without You is a lovely little continuation of the Chasing Olivia series. At the beginning if the book, who comes rushing in to Olivia's bridal suite with information she needs to know? What happens when she talks with Brandy? When she gets home, courtesy of Chase, she goes to see her mom and tell her what happened. What does her mother say as soon as Olivia walks in the door? What did Evan say to her mom? What happens after she leaves her mom's house does not surprise me. What phone call dies she get the next morning? Where does she fly to the next afternoon? When she is waiting to order food, the funniest quote I have seen in a while happens. "Stealthy waiters come by with menus. Someone should put a box of Tic-tac's in their pocket." I could not help but laugh at that. Watching the spa day the three girls have makes me wish I could have one of those. What happens when Amanda says she hopes the bartender brings more than one bottle of Clicquot? When the boys join the girls, what happens with the talk of the arriving plane of parents? Once again I was laughing. Watching Chase and his possessiveness of Olivia is amusing. Reading this book suddenly makes me maudlin as I read about the various places the ladies go. Makes me wish I could afford to travel, or that I had a boyfriend like Chase. Oh my, after the respective parties the night before Amanda's wedding, what does chase have to do to Olivia to wake her up? I cannot stop giggling. It is really nice to watch as Olivia starts to 'relax' a bit when it comes to Chase spending money on her. Enjoy this book. I certainly did.

This is the second in the Chasing Olivia series by Jillian Anselmi.
As I mentioned, this is the second in the series and I will hold my hands up and admit that I didn't read the first one, and I do think that my overall reading experience would have been enhanced by reading the books in order. That being said the author has written this book with enough description and mention of previous incidents that it was easy enough to pick up story.
To avoid spoilers I won't go into the story. I will say that the story was easy to read, and had a few tense and edgy moments; although not a dark romance, there is a small section in the book late on that may cause distress to some people with sexual assault triggers.
This book focuses on Olivia and Chase, both characters are well developed, Olivia is looking for some independence after a domineering relationship and struggles with being spoiled by Chase. Chase is an alpha male, rich, handsome and successful, he wants nothing more than to look after Olivia and give her everything she has ever wanted.
This book has some lovely heart-warming moments and some equally heart stopping moments. I felt that parts were rushed, and others dragged out a little. Overall I like the story but felt that there was just a little something missing.
My Review of Lost Without You by Jillian Anselmi My Rating 3.5 Stars As this is the second book in the series, and I had just finished reading book 1 thankfully as I feel it’s necessary to read this series in order. Once again I feel the suthor has developed a great storyline with characters that pull you in. The story has many elements such as, the leading hot male alpha, who is wanting nothing more than to give everything to the woman he loves, This story has many heartfelt moments, and intense ones as well. I do however feel that at times while reading the story, I found it to be a bit long winded, and it felt rushed in areas as well. The story overall was a nice read and the author also left us the readers hanging until the next. Once again if you are looking for that alpha billionaire romance, then you will find just that in this book. * Received an ARC courtesy of the Author Jillian Anselmi in exchange for an honest review** **Reviewed for Hellmouth’s Bookblog & Reviews**
*i recommend reading 'Drawn to You' prior to reading this sequel, as it continues where the first left off.*
Yay! After the cliffy of DTY, I, along with many others, were waiting in anticipation for this sequel, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Let me just start by saying #TeamChase all the way! I love that Alpha crazy amounts, but who wouldn't?! Perfect blend of sexy and romantic, and he knows how to fight for the girl he wants! He and Olivia have such chemistry, I was glad to read and learn more about them!
I won't give spoilers, but these are some emotions you may feel throughout this book; -HOT -Swooned -Nervous -bit more hot, cause well, you know, Chase, -Mad AF at a particular character -More Swoon!
A brilliant instalment to this beautiful love story, definitely worth a cheeky one click! I look forward to reading more of the authors work. :)
Four and a half Great Stars! This is the second book in the Chasing Olivia Series and should be read in order to get the most out of the book. We pick up where the cliff hanger left us from the first book. The rest of the book focuses on Olivia and Chase's relationship. Olivia wants some independence in the relationship and all Chase wants is to protect her. The author does another great job with the story and characters. I found myself wanting to know more and finished the book in one sitting. I recommend it and feel you will not be disappointed!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.
I fell in love with Chase and Olivia in Drawn To You and was so excited to finally get off the cliff Ms. Anselmi left us on at the end of that book. Finally back together Olivia tries to cope with Chase's Alpha ways, and how he loves to spoil her rotten. Their relationship isn't perfect but it is great. Still wary from her past Olivia struggles with letting her true feelings for him,and when danger lurks close by the love she feels could go unspoken forever. Olivia is such a strong character, and I loved how she stood up for herself. Chase was the perfect man for her, and even though there were times his actions gave me pause I knew without a doubt that she was his whole life. I look forward to reading more from this author. *Read and reviewed on behalf of Kylie's Fiction Addiction
Lost Without You picks up where the huge cliffy of Drawn To You left off. Liv and who..... are you wondering if she marries Evan or realizes she loves Chase. Well, let's say I am team Chase all the way. Ms. Anselmi writes such a wonderfully strong heroine, and a totally sexy Alpha male, and finds a way to mesh them so well together. I won't give spoiler's but trust me you will want to read this steamy, intense love story that 's going on. This was very well written where the plot develops smoothly as the story progresses. I found myself totally engrossed in it. 4.5./5 Cross Posting to My Reading Reality.
This book is packed with suspense. I wanted to yell at and help Olivia all at the same time. While this book is not a standalone, it has been a while since I read the first one and I was disappointed there was not any true refreshers. I found myself going back to the first and searching for topics to remember how or why something happened. Aside from that aspect, I really did enjoy this book. It grabbed my attention and held it through out. I look forward to more books from this author as it is amazing to see how her writing style is progressing and growing.

This is book 2 in the Chasing Olivia Series and these books need to be read in order so you can get the most out of the events that happen. Granted book 2 does give you enough of a back story you could read it without reading book 1. Which i tried. I got 2 pages in and was like wait I think I'm missing something haha. So I back tracked and read book 1 then continued with book 2 immediately. I had both of them read within a days time. I was hooked.
More like 3 1/2 *** This is part two and although it was a good read some of it has me wondering WTH. But then again it's a book so there!!! After reading the 1st book I just had to know how it ends. Glad I did read this one but it somewhat had me wondering at some point is this really the end of their story!
we get the continuation of Olivia and Chase. Olivia is making a mistake marring Evan but she isn't sure if she deserves better but when Chase interruptes to prove he loves her, he will not allow this marriage to happen. will Olivia allow chase to explain things and truly see that Chase loves her.Copy received in exchange for an honest and Unbiased review
So I was lucky enough to get to read this as a Beta reader and I loved the whole story! I can't wait to read the actual finished product! Although I loved it just the way it was I am sure Jillian made it even more amazing in edits! Can't wait until the release day to own this book!
This was such a good book! I've been waiting forever to read it, since the awful cliffhanger in Drawn to You. Despite the dark parts, this is a sexy, romantic, sometimes funny book. I love the characters (well, except for Evan and Brandi). I received an free copy of this book, for honest review.
