Eric Branson is still weeks from reaching his daughter in Colorado, but an opportunity to get there a whole lot faster has him participating in business he wanted no part of when he returned to the homeland.
Just like in the old days, things change and go downhill fast when the action begins, and the mission he's agreed to will test even a war-hardened SEAL and private contractor.
And by the time Eric extricates himself from his new predicament, it might be too late to take advantage of the deal he signed up for.
Nothing will stop him from reaching the Rockies in the end, but what he uncovers when he gets there sets Eric on a new path he has no choice but to follow.
Is it too late to save Megan from the danger she's gotten herself into? Eric won't know until he finds her, somewhere in the vast mountain wilderness into which she has fled.

An SBW. SYFY. Novel (FNSB. - 4)/Saving the SGT/Flight to Cheyenne/H.C. Ride to Boulder/ Connect Up With Shauna
SWB. has. penned the fourth novel in the Feral Nation series. The main character agrees to a mission to save an Army Ranger SGT. After the rescue they have to fight their way clear of human obstacles. After the return to civilization he is flown in a period of days to the airport in Boulder. Then finds where his wife and daughter have gone. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
A good solid story with some interesting characters. It's kind of the old story line; a divorced couple trying to tack down their daughter after the sh$t hit the fan all across the USA. The story hints at some kind of conspiracy but hasn't been specific yet in the series. It kind of paints college kids as being led by others to become some kind of anarchist. Since I am still reading the series after 4 books I gave it 5 stars but it probably only deserves 4.
If you love reading this genre, Scott B. Williams is an author you should follow. Authentic in the details, with believable characters, his books keep me turning the pages, and looking forward to the next book in the series.
I'm so caught up in the story that I can't stop reading. And I'm reading one book after another and another and another and another. So can hardly wait till I can start the next book.
