Perfect daily reminders of the things that surround us that we take for granted. Most of us have so much to be grateful for but, may not realize or think about it.

For Christmas I received a gratitude journal from my mum. The thing is, I dislike dated journals, and, at the time, I saw gratitude as a gimmick.

But Mum got it for me. So I wanted to give it a shot. At first I didn't know what to do with it. The gratitude I was expressing sounded fake.

It was on a visit to the library I picked up this book.

What I love is the wide range of ideas for expressing gratitude. It gave me a way to see the world around me and connect. While they are someone else's words, I have found, over time, I form more and more of my own writings.

In short, this book filled a gap in my understanding of the practical application of expressing gratitude.

I am grateful.
