Good Read

I really enjoyed reading this book. I just wish they would have found out Regina motives. I'm glad Dana gave Jason another chance before it was too late.

"Second Chance at Heaven" by Taretha Jones

My Speculation:

This was another excellent read in this series 'Heaven on Earth Book 4' that featured Dana and Mike. I enjoyed how this author brings us another story of just how God can come into and work things out for you, even when it looks like a mess. With poor Mike trying help with Dana's ex's situation and Regina's horrible motives, it was great seeing how that all turned out. I was so glad that Dana listened to her mother and got the love of her life. Seeing what had happened 30 years down the road was so real in what can happen when you let God take care of it as it seems like what happened for Dana and Mike.

This was overall a nice read for me but there was a few things that gave me pause like Regina using profanity once and her not being exposed for her deceitful actions. I liked the epilogue but it was lacking with not stating how many kids and grandkids did they end up having. I also would have liked dialogue between Jason and Dana about the way he was raised considering how it affected him when the mother subject was brought up. I didn’t like how Dana spent so much time with God but didn’t have discernment with Regina at all and even received her prophelie about getting back with Jerome. I would have shut that lie down immediately. I did love Dana’s family dynamics with them being saved and giving her good whole Christian advice and directions. I love how in tune Jason was with the Holy Spirit and he moved with intention in regards to Dana with what he had been shown.

I love it here

Ms. Taretha! I just adore how protective all of the Young men are, however, I think Jason is my favorite. That man, that man, that man. I was laughing so hard at him getting Jerome busted tail to move to Nigeria on the low. That's the kind of God-given power that I love to read about. Moved that man across the ocean to protect the woman he loves. Regina needs an exorcism and a baptism. It stresses me out the way some of these characters create narrative in their mind and the actions they take to make those delusions come to life. 30 years of marriage. What a blessing!

Another one of the Young’s family of exceptional men, Judge Jason is feeling the divorcee, Dana Watlington. She was a guest on his TV show, to settle a case with her Ex. Judge liked her instantly. But Dana is still carrying baggage and emotions and confusions from her previous marriage with Jerome. It has been hard for her to let go, bec Jerome had her heart. Dana is stuck in neutral, and with the “nevers” that she puts in place, it hard for her to see a need yo change gears.

Good book

I enjoy the writing of this author, gives insight to various psychological effects of maturity. An editor or pre reading before finalized. Example: the last name changes from "Watlington" to "Sharpe" is confusing. Great writing poor editing!

Second Chance at Heaven...

I loved that Jason was strong in his feelings for Dana and that he didn't give up on her even though he knew that she wasn't into him the same way. I was disappointed that there wasn't any closure to Regina's and Jerome's deceitful ways.
