I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Satan's Spawn MC: The Complete Series

A great collection of MC reads. Each one introducing us to different characters while continuing an amazingly intriguing and exciting story. I enjoyed them all and highly recommend this collection if you love MC stories.
Ghost from the Past (Satan's Spawn MC Book 1)
A good start the series, lots of info including some background on the characters Deke and Gator. Tells about the Satan’s Spawn MC, how Deke came to be President, meet some characters from the MC, why they join and what we are are expecting.
I can’t wait for the novels.
Spawn And Spitfire (Satan’s Spawn MC #1)
This was an exciting story. Cassie has had a hard life growing up on the streets with her friend Peaches. When Peaches disappears, Cassie goes all out to track her down, which leads her to the Satan’s Spawn MC. Where she meets Deke, the man she may have to let down her guard too trust.
A well written story, full of twist and turns and hidden surprises that are astounding.
It’s an enjoyable story that I would Highly Recommend! It’s a great read!!
Revenge and Retribution (Satan's Spawn MC #2)
The story continues for Deke and Cassie. The problems from Cassie’s past continue to follow and plague her, threatening her new found happiness with Deke. There’s more intense drama, suspenseful action and danger for the happy couple. But new relatives are discovered for Cassie. The plot is dark and gritty and full of surprises that tempt the reader on to the following page for answers. A good continuation in the series.
There’s subjects mentioned that some readers may find difficult to read, so be warned.
Babies and Bastards (Satan's Spawn MC #3)
This was just an ok. read for me! Yes it had all the action, tension and suspense as the previous books. But I felt it was full of many repetitive parts of the plot, mainly Cassie and Peaches terrible past. It was repeated several times to different people....I didn’t need to read it up to 6 times, if not more....I skimmed them, and it was a bit over the top with injuries....in the end I was thinking “not again”.
A conclusion had to be written though, I wish the story had had more of a plot and depth.

Silk and Bones (Sin's Bastards MC Book 1)
Yep! I loved this one. Sam is a great character and the mystery Melora was the ideal woman to catch his eye. She was a strong woman, on the run for two years from some bikers from hell who want her dead because she witnessed a murder. Sam discovers her in his bike shop while she’s searching for shelter. He knows he has to know more about Melora and takes her home.
There’s a good mystery in this book, and has all the suspense and betrayal that kept me wanting more. And Sam and Melora get hot and steamy as their relationship gets close and personal which is always fun. A great read
Karma's Bitch (Sin's Bastards MC #2)
Can Sam be a real man for once and take responsibility for the child Melora and he are having. He’s already has several children by different women and walked away from them all but nows a chance at least to show some atonement for his actions when he deserted his children by standing up for Melora, but will he?
There’s also several extra characters expecting a happy event which adds joy to the brothers. There’s lot’s going on in this exciting short read which does end in a cliffhanger. Looking forward to more!
No Regrets (Sin's Bastards MC #3)
The Sin’s Bastards MC family just keeps expanding. Reva and Gator have a story to tell this time. Reva’s past is heartbreaking, her husband is being released from prison, and blames Reva for his incarceration, Reva is scared and wants to run, but Gator insists he will keep her safe as he and the MC will watch out for her. And Izzy needs help too, she’s feeling lost and alone, is Mountain strong enough to be a family for everyone she cares for?
An emotional story, loved it. Can’t wait for another ride through the Sin’s Bastards MC family. A Great Read !
Hell's Fury (Sin's Bastards MC #4)
All is finally right in Deke’s world. He has a stunning wife who loves him, Cassie, two beautiful kids and another on the way, he couldn’t ask for a better life. But his happiness is short lived, he never thought he’d needed to add extra protection when someone from his past comes a knocking and threatens to destroy his family and his heart.
This is an intense story, exciting and of course very emotional. We also get to meet Cricket, Cordy and Raine, no spoilers here just recommendations to read it, you won’t be disappointed!
Lies And Liars (Sin's Bastards MC #5)
This one seemed to be featuring nearly everyone. Cricket finds out the truth about her father, and her uncle, the diabolical assassin Bane, just want’s what he considers what her father stole from him. And Cricket has to find the object as Bane threatens to kill the entire MC if she fails. Also Izzy has trouble of her own and the mob come to the fold with Sawyer and Jordan. It’s all intense action with thrills as lies are told and deceptions are fought be revealed. It’s another great addition to the Sin’s Bastards MC series. I highly recommend it!
Stone Cold (Sin's Bastards MC #6)
Bane has returned and introduces Cricket to her cousin Michael, her uncle Bane’s lost son. But if truth be told what he really wants is a pair of daggers that had been passed down through his family which should be his but were taken by her father, Cricket is given an ultimatum to find them. We also hear a little more of Sawyers story, the Priest and a kidnapping, plus and a new group called the Hell’s Fire Riders are introduced.
Yes there’s still plenty of action and drama to come in this terrific MC series, and some steamy scenes too. Awesome reads!

I got all they way to about 65% and then got bored. I would have been better off not reading all the stories back to back. By the last one I was just tired and ready to move on

I have read every book of the Sin's Bastards MC series (except for the bonus book, Bane) and absolutely fell in love with this MC!! I started with the Sin's Bastards MC but definitely recommend reading the Satan's Spawn MC first. That makes this set perfect! You get them all for an unbelievable price. I was lucky enough to get an Advance Reader Copy but I still went ahead and bought it. These stories are that good!! It has been a hectic time for me lately so I still haven't had a chance to read the stories in the Satan's Spawn MC series. They are definitely on my to-do list though. I have included below the reviews I left for the individual stories of the Sin's Bastards MC when I originally read them.
Silk & Bones (5 stars) - This is the first book I've read by this author and I am hooked. This is a MC romance, as well as a younger woman/older man romance with some suspense and danger thrown in. I liked that Melora was tough as nails but could also show some vulnerability. I loved Sam. He quickly became Melora's protector and wasn't going to let what anyone thought get in their way. If you like MC and/or younger woman/older man romances I would recommend reading this one. I'm looking forward to reading book two.
Karma's Bite (5 stars) - Book two starts out where book one left off. There are more revelations, especially about Sam. These revelations have the potential to wreck the relationships he's been building with Deke and Melora, but will they? There's also danger still lurking around the MC.
This series seems to be a spinoff from a previous series, Satan's Spawn MC. At least I think that's the one. Reading the first book in this series, Silk & Bones, without having read the other series wasn't that big of a deal, as far as understanding goes. However, with this book, there was a lot of references to events and people from the previous series. There was some explanation so I didn't feel completely lost, but I do wish I would have read the other series first.
The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to get started on reading book three. I have a feeling things are about to get a whole lot more interesting .... and complicated.
No Regrets (4 stars) - Books one and two focused on Melora and Sam. The blurb for this book makes it seem like it's going to be Reva and Gator's story. However, there is a little Melora and Sam as well as a lot of Izzy and Mountain. While Reva and Gator did have a big part in this book it just didn't feel like it was their story.
That being said, I still liked it. More secrets are revealed. More danger visits the men and women of the Sin's Bastards MC. More members are brought into the MC. And....... more babies are being made. The story kept my attention and I didn't want to put it down.
Hell's Fury (5 stars) - This is the fourth book in the Sin's Bastards MC series and my favorite so far. The blurb sounds like it's going to be Deke's story about a figure from his past, and it is. However, I think this is more Cricket's story and an introduction to a possible relationship for her and Raine. The hell Cricket went through at the hands of her sister, Cordy, growing up until now is something no one should ever have to experience. It's amazing she turned out the way she did. Her relationship with her nephew, Dusty, is heartwarming. That little guy stole the show at times. He had to grow up too much despite his aunt Cricket's best intentions. He was wise beyond his years and so adorable, too. This story brought me to tears. I hope there are good things coming for Cricket and Dusty!

Bane is an evil man with no soul and the inability to feel emotions for himself or others. After Cricket fulfills a request he tells her they are through and she is off the hook. However, I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of Bane Jessen. There is danger in store for Izzy and her unborn child. Is the danger a result of her past, Mountain's past, or her father, Domenic? A surprising twist is revealed in Izzy's storyline.
The remainder of the story introduces us to a few new characters. Sawyer and her brother Jordan are on the run, a run for their life. A new biker, Calico, and a few of his men show up, too. Could there be a connection? What danger will they find for themselves? Lies and Liars is another great addition to the series. I'm ready to get started on book six to see how everything comes together for the men and women of the Sin's Bastards MC.

Cricket's story is at the forefront but it is not the only story going on. We get to delve more into Sawyer's life and there's a hint that there's more to come with her. A new group of bikers, the Hell's Fire Riders, are introduced. Sam has more family coming out of the woodwork. Could it be more kids? There is a lot going on but the story is well written making it easy to follow along. If you like MC storylines this series is for you. The mob is also involved, especially in the last few stories, so people who like mob stories should check into this series as well. I can't wait to start in on the next generation of Sin's Bastards and see where some of these storylines continue to go.

This was my first time reading anything by K.J. Dahlen and if I could give her more than 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I would. I want to tell you about each book in the box set and all the characters and how they affected me and how they made me feel and how at times i cried or i wanted to shake some sense in them or even wanted to punch more than a few of them but I really think you should read it without anybody telling you anything about the characters, well at least no too much. I went into this set blind and I devoured it like a person starved for knowledge. (I couldn't get enough even when I read the last word) Take a chance and one click today you won't be sorry it's truly a beautifully written journey of strength, courage, forgiveness, friendship,family,faith, freedom, peace, feeling of safety ,and above all Love !

KJ Dahlen has crafted one of the most riveting and addictive MC Series I have ever had the pleasure to read. I have left a review for each of these hard hitting books individually and I promise you that you'll be as enraptured as myself with this impressive collection of an amazing Brotherhood. What I especially am in awe of is Ms Dahlen's creative ability to continue to link the characters together throughout each and every book in this collection. I am an avid reader as well as a huge fan of MC books. I truly can not explain exactly how well crafted the storylines for these books are in a way that would do it justice. Each and every character is written in such a way that you can not only envision them but 'feel' the emotions and scenarios they find themselves in. It takes an extremely talented Author to be able to bring these characters/people to life like that and Ms Dahlen is just the kind of Author to not only deliver delicious reads, but actually up the bar for future MC romance books to come. If you have never had the pleasure of her work, why not start here with this collection of perfection. Amazing read!!
I love this series. It is amazing. Reading this made me feel like the characters are family and im reading about their lives.
There was a lot of repitition with regarding to what happens to characters. In the telling of the story incidents get retold several times instead of just summarizing them.
In the first book about Deke and Cassie, both are throwing out words of love left right and centre. But in the 2nd book its all forgotten about and its mentioned that Deke hasnt mentioned the word love in regard to his relationship with Cassie. The story felt broken in terms of it flowing correctly.
Bane’s story was fabulous. It felt so heartwrenching and so dark that my heart felt so sad. Bane’s fate is known through reading previous books but the bonus book written through Bane’s view was intriguing. I got a much more insight into his thought processes and why he did what he did. I felt so sorry for him and his death hit harder now that ive read his story than it did after reading it when it happened.
Love the characters and how they all connect and become a family.
The female lead always ends up pregnant in the individual stories and many times have multiples ie twins, triplets etc.
I think i would like to have a mention of the characters ages as it gets very confusing to understand how old someone is and their relationships ie. mountain is meloras father but gets together with her best friend Izzy. The ages of the characters need to be mentioned.
Overall love this series and author. I am completley hooked on all the series this author writes.

Absolutely brilliant. !
Wow how do i put into words the way i feel about this series.? One word keeps popping into my mind over and over again "BRILLIANT " i was hooked from start to finish i couldn't put it down and sometimes on occasion i even woke up to read some more because i just had to find out what happend next.
The cast of characters through out this series where raw, true, damaged, heartbroken, lonely , tired and yet they all put one foot in front of the other and did what they had to do to survive . And along the way found the family they didnt think they deserved.
The plot twists seriously through me for a loop and on more then one occasion i yelled out "WTF" .
The comoraderie between the brother's of the MC and the Mafia worked in a world where usually they were like oil and water but the way the story went and with the female characters being linked to the Mafia brought this awesome story so much more insight to who the characters are. This is the first series I've read of this author and i swear it will not be the last . The way the author described certain situations and the characters made you feel like you knew them personally and walked a mile in their shoes. I for one felt angry and hurt for the ones who were truely used and abused by people who were so evil and cunning and minipulative . As a reader i wanted to jump through the book and slay all of their demons and protect the women the way their men protected them . This series will stay with me for a very long time. Its on my opinion one of the best I've read and ive read alot and have my favorites and this one is no exception. Highly recommend this author K.J Dahlen and her work to etveryone who loves a bit of mystery and thriller with their MC books .

Good
Would of given 5 stars as I enjoyed these books but there were a few issues. There where some very hypocritical passages in the book, eg, cake and cassie professing their love for each other, then later on deke saying he doesn't believe in love and not being able to say it. Cassie stating at one point she never cries, then from almost the first time she meets the club she's in tears 89% of the time. There were also time differences that didn't seem to make sense. An editor really needs to do back through the books as there were so many spelling mistakes, etc words, words missed out so sentences didn't make sense. A shame as the characters were great and I really did enjoy the books.

Love, Hate, Remorse
Bane was a complicated man. It was on which side of the fence you were standing as to how you thought.
Bane wasn't a good man by any means, but he was a very honest man in his professional life, he was an ok man to the people he worked for.. In Crickets world he was a cruel and mean man. He wanted what everyone else wanted, to be loved, he just didn't know how to need it.
I always loved to read about Bane. I knew there was something in him. I wish he could have lived long enough to develop a distant relationship with Cricket. Kind words from time to time.

If you're into MC stories, this is the best buy ever! Beside the previously published nine books, there is a book telling the story of Cricket's Uncle Bane, the feared assassin, who by himself took out 17 men of the Dragon's Fire MC whose leader, Stark had put a contract out on Cricket, because her sister, Cordelia, had used Cricket's name when she got away with $8 million when acting as get-away driver for the MC. And the set includes the Prequel to Sin's Bastards MC Next Generation. K.J. Dahlen is the best writer of MC, Mafia, assassin, kidnapping, sex trafficing books, but with wonderful couple chemistry and family loyalty.

i read this series as part of an arc program. This is the best MC series i have ever read. The stories that are featured in this book continue on with each book and focus on the many characters in the MC family. The Sin's Bastard MC has many ties to other MCs as well as the mafia. In the way their stories are told, you can't help but grow to care for them all and i hated to see the books end. In the series set, there is also a book about Bane told from his point of view that gives you more insight into the hitman and how he sees his life. I love this series and i have read the first book in the next generation, Raine, and will continue to read that series as well. Great series.

The 3 stars are for the editing. The story itself doesn't seem to flow. It has a bit of everything, love, lust, revenge, kidnappings, killers, assassins, bikers and mafia. I found sometimes I had to skim over the repetitiveness, and found characters were told things in one chapter but didn't seem to remember in the next, confusing. I also wondered a little at how all these alpha males who don't believe in hurting women could justify slapping them, kidnapping and tying up a pregnant woman, and killing a woman? But as I wrote, it IS a story, fantasy, NOT reality. Over all, I'm not sure how I feel about the series, but I did finish it.

Real page turner, realistic story line, action packed, steamy and romantic, ,great word building, plots twists and turns, still kept the story line in tact. Brilliant series
Wow this series is just packed with action from the beginning to end. There are so many hot biker men and the crazy ladies that love them. So much happens in this club it just keeps twisting and turning so many new characters keep appearing and the situations they bring with them are mind boggling. It is an absolutely brilliant series and if you like biker books this is a definite must read. I look forward to the second generation and can only hope it is as intriguing as this series.

There are so many things I can say about this series, it is that good. What I will say is that this whole series is written so very well, the characters are developed and they stay with you throughout the whole series while others are added. There is so much action, drama, suspense, loyalty and exceptional love. The books will draw you in and the books are so hard to put down until you read one more page, then another and another. I absolutely loved it.

Just wow. An amazing group of books for an amazing series. Words cannot express how great these books are.
Each story kinda leads on with one another. There's danger, love, chemistry, fights and I loved it all.
I could read these books again and again as they have you gripped from the start and keep together until the end and make you want more and more. An author that you will keep reading again and again. Xx

Why all the 5 stars
The entire series is a mess. They keep talking about family and protecting their women and every time the one to be protected is easily kidnapped and tortured. Grammer is horrible. Plot and storyline can be coverd in one sentence "Damsel in distress and MC unable to rescue". This Deke character keeps slapping women around and then talks of Honour. All women have this "Holier than thou" thing going which is just not right. Absolute waste of money.

Ok I'm not giving any spoilers into any of the stories but you should definitely read these. I thought like so many others it would just be simple MC stories but they quickly grabbed my attention. It's a group of men and the feisty women that love them. They fight through many trials that will keep you reading for more. I lovethat this comes in a collection so it's easy to keep going on in their world without stopping. As with any good series you'll always want more.

This series has it all.I have cried, laughed,been on the edge of my seat, mad as hell and missed sleep with this series. I have truly loved this series of books. I can't wait to read more from K. J. Dahlen. I would recommend this to everyone I don't care if you like MR books or not these characters are wonderful. The stories are heart touching and the suspense is off the charts.

Satan’s Spawn is a boxset of the complete Saran’s Spawn series by K.J. Dahlen. This is an awesome series that kept me on the edge and made me want to finish it in one sitting. These men are alpha all the way and their women wouldn’t have it any other way. This boxset for full of twists and turns, suspense, highs and lows, intrigue, mafia, MC clubs, killers and more. I loved this boxset and definitely recommend it.

I love this series!! I had actually started this series with Silk & Bones and the Sin’s Bastards Next Generation. I was so excited to go back and read how everything started! Cassie and Deke have a relationship that started out so rocky, but ended with such a strength and devotion between the two of them that can be broken. The bond between these bikers is unbreakable and they have a true family feeling that carries through all of the books.

Wow! I love that the whole series is together!! I came in at the middle of the series and I love that I now have the juicy back stories on everyone! I am starting at the beginning and not stopping till I get to the last one! This series is raw and gritty, but it's also sweet and heartfelt tales of the men and women who have made the their MC their family.

I had the wonderful honor of reading the books in this series as they were released. Some I liked more than others but overall the series was phenomenal. It’s dark and gritty but just as much it’s light and sweet. All of the characters are amazing even the villains. You can’t go wrong with this series! I received this set for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Just finished Satan's Spawn MC the complete series. I have read this series twice now. But this time Bane has a book in it! Must say I cried my eyes out over Bane s story! So sad and wonderfully written. Now I know why he was an ass and looking forward to more of this wonderful series

One of the best MC Series I have read. The stories are exciting and gripping the characters are wonderful it's a page-turner you just don't want to put down. Well worth the read. It centers around Deke Tory and his MC. these are men with some honor and live by a code. K.J. Dahlen did an excellent job with this Series.

I didn't actually end up finishing this series. I mean, it was entertaining but I'm over the whole "guy claiming his woman as his property" crap. I may get back to finishing reading this series but I'd much rather read something that will educate my mind or a fictional story that gets my heart racing with every turn of the page. Take from this review what you will. It was, OK.
