I loved working on Beneath the Scars I wasn't really sure that I would write a second book. A couple of years later I started a second story. I had trouble writing it, the characters weren't really working for me. I put it on the back burner then after a little time I changed the story completely to this version. Jack and Faye made it easy to write them. these are two characters that once dated in high school. Years later things for the both of them had changed greatly. Jack is trying to figure out his place after serving and now he is back home. Faye is in NYC and she thinks she's made the right choices
in life, but the more her past keeps popping up she starts to doubt herself. I'm hoping the readers will enjoy this as much as I did writing it.

Enjoyable read about second chance love. The story line has heartache, doubt and words left unsaid. Characters with great interactions add to this story and I found it hard to put down. There is always a second chance when a love never goes away.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.
