The book is inspiration what little I saw is of it. It seemed to be missing chapters, I dont recall it saying it was an excerpt. The whole book would be great.

I recommend for anyone who needs a little pick me up during the day.

3 out 5 stars.

I received this ARC for an honest review from Netgalley, the publisher and author.

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled by Harold Myra is a wonderful 40-day devotional that turns the reader's mind towards God and reminds us of His constant presence and love. No matter what the situation, we have nothing to fear, for God is with us. Each devotion has a meditation, scripture verses and a short prayer for the day.

I plan to reread this book several times. Definitely worth adding to your bookshelf!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Discovery House for allowing me to read a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

This is a short book meant to help you meditate on God’s word if you are dealing with anxiety. These brief devotions are easy to read before you leave in the morning, on your lunch break, or while you are waiting in line. Each devotion include a personal, heartfelt prayer that will connect you with God. If you are anxious over something, but are also short on time, this brief book is perfect for your needs.

I'm trying to become a better Christian and increase the faith that I sometimes doubt. That's a goal I have for this year. This is the first book that has been part of that goal. I enjoyed the reflections on praying that were thorough but short enough to read in my morning quiet time.

Finished reading Harold Myra’s “Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled: 40 Daily Meditations on Jesus and Prayer”. It was at times, refreshing, encouraging, and comforting; guided me as I prayed and talked to our Heavenly Father. I highly recommend it.
