Great Read!!!
I normally don't like Carrie dearie ripe books but this was good.
I wish there was more character development as the three main ones seemed interesting.
Hopefully there is/will be a sequel.

These creatures will keep you reading
First of all, let me just say that this book needs lots of editing. However, despite the errors, I was drawn into this book from page 1. The creatures provided lots of horror and gore and the characters drew me in as they fought for their survival. There was never a dull moment and I hope there will be a sequel...a sequel with editing.

Great Story
The storyline is very entertaining. It is a book that is hard to put down. The book does need a good editor to fix all the bad grammar.

I read this at the start of the year as it was a cheap pick up on Amazon when I was looking for something to read. The writing isn't brilliant, but it's not as bad as some reviews would make you think. It's a decent story with some good characters but I feel like it could have been better. I'd say if you're looking for an easy read, then this is a good book for you. I also don't think I've read a book with as high kill count in it. 4/5

Good story
But desperately needs proof reading for grammar and spelling.
However if you can get past that it's a pretty good story.
Personally I felt a little let down with the ending, I felt it could have been expanded a bit more but don't want to give anything away and in any case don't let this put off anyone reading what is an otherwise enjoyable romp.

Could not get past the first page due to the poor grammar, conversationally rambling tone, dreadful use of punctuation, and halting syntax. If there is a good story here I'd love to read it, but not in this first draft form.

Awful
Juvenile characters, poorly written story. No characters were developed or were likeable. I am embarrassed to say that I hung in there and finished the book hoping it would improve. It didn't.

Compared to the author’s second novel, The Next Stage, Creatures is definitely more “rough around the edges” but still a very enjoyable read nonetheless. I am a fan and would recommend wholeheartedly!

I agree with reviews saying that the characters could have been fleshed out a bit more but overall it was an enjoyable read. Having read the author’s latest work “The Next Stage” and the progress they’ve made as a writer I believe that a sequel would do that and then some!

This book had a good storyline I just feel it could be fleshed out a good bit more. I liked the characters too, they played out well together.

3 stars for me means it was a mediocre read, 2 means it was a bit of a waste of time. This was a 2.5. . It needs more editing, and the ending sucks.

Mutant creatures destroy the UK. If you enjoy apocalypse or zombie stories, this is one for you. A fun read that doesn't take itself too seriously.

I think that this book is one that has a very niche readership. It's not every bodies cup of tea, and that's okay.
I, for one, loved this book. It's a post-apocalyptic story, but it's not your usual zombies, this instead is mutant creatures.
As for other reviews saying the language was poor, I don't understand it. Perhaps when it was first released it was sub-standard, but the version I got was fine, so whatever issues there were must have been fixed and released by the author.
I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys apocalyptic stories.
