Short, Sexy and Silly!
I really liked this book. It was hilariously funny, sexy and a quick read. Sometimes I finish reading a book and want to read more before going to bed, but I just don’t want to start a whole new novel and most short books are missing something in the telling.
This one ended a bit quickly but in a fun way. I liked it a lot. No spoilers here so I’m sot going to give away anything more about the story than what was in the highlight blurb. Though I do recommend this one!

I’ve had this on my Kindle for quite some time, but I was saving it for when I need to make up my month’s book number. This was that month!
It wasn’t what I was expecting at all; I was expecting it to be so much darker and sexier. However, it is full of lightness and fun and was a pleasure to read. Even though we only get to know the characters on the surface, they are well developed. It is more about their attraction to one another than who they are as individuals. It is about forbidden love since their teenage years and their secret longing for one another until one night it all comes to a head (literally!!!)
This was just the right length for this story, although the ending did give me whiplash a bit with Evan’s reaction and gesture. I liked that the author didn’t feel the need to drag the ending out with an epilogue giving us an insight into the future with babies etc. We were left with our own imagination on how the two end up. We have the happy ever after we need from this kind of book, but it wasn’t overdone, and it didn’t outstay its welcome!
This is the first stand-alone Angel Devlin book I’ve read. All of her other books have either been part of the Flirt Club series or collaborated with Tracy Lorraine. This certainly won’t be the last, she is a fantastic writer, and this was an enjoyable book to read to finish off my month.

Banned by Angel Devlin a read you need in your life as it will break all of your rules!! This is a funny, sexy but most of all a heavenly read!! If you want to while away a couple of hours with one of the best reads of 2017 then this is the one for you.
Evan Hale is a man who I need to meet, one night and I would be happy. I wouldn’t even mind that he’s been around the block a bit. That’s all Evan does you see, one night of van Heaven, well half a night really as no one gets to go to sleep, but if you want to go all night he will go all night with you. It’s his rules and routine, he has rules in place as his mother gave him one years ago and he can’t ever break it no matter how hard it is for him. (And hard it is for her, little Rachel next door)
Rachel Alice Summers is the little girl next door who isn’t little any more. Rachel also likes to break rules and hearts, a woman after my own heart, she’s also after something else I’m after!! Will she be lucky enough to finally get it?
Angel Devlin is a go to author for me, I love lots of authors but I only truly stalk those that have made me feel something with their writing and Angel Devlin is one I stalk, stalk and stalk some more, if you are looking for a new author give her a go. She’s well worth it, you may even learn some new words.

When Rachel starts to work at the local pub, she gets to experience Evan’s string of one-night stands but he never picks her. Then one drunken night, all bets are off and they finally have their night. Will Evan realize he can have Rachel forever? Or will he blow it? This complete novella tells Evan and Rachel’s sexy and fun journey.

This is a quick, entertaining, fun story about two neighbors who fall for each other. Evan is told by his mother that Rachel was off limits but Rachel had other plans. I love how Rachel decided she was tired of waiting for Evan to do something so she took over. This author writes amazing books full of humor, steam, well developed characters and great story lines. Looking forward to reading more of her books in the future. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Fifteen year old Evan makes a promise to his mother that he keeps well beyond necessary. Rachel is determined to have the Heavenly Evan experience. The road to what she wants us hilarious. Once Evan is not over the head with understanding he makes a grand gesture. Read to find out what and how they get their HEA.

THIS BOOK HAD ME LAUGHING THROUGHOUT.BOTH LEAD CHARACTERS FANCY THE PANTS OF EACH OTHER AND BOTH ON A MISSION TO PROVE SOMETHING IN THE COURSE OF ONE NIGHT. I LOVED HOW SASSY RACHEL IS. THE COMIC FACTOR THROUGHOUT THE BOOK IS BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN AND KEEPS THE READER ENTERTAINED.

I didn’t like it
I don’t like books that have British characters. I don’t like how they talk. If an author is going to write a romance book that uses dirty words use the dam words not the boring British version. Thus book was boring.

Brilliant quick read
This is a funny, quick read book that will make you laugh throughout. I love the main character Rachel, she’s feisty, takes no rubbish and says what she thinks (which is usually really funny) a brilliant book from one of my favourite authors.

Lively Story
Loved this funny sexy romance. At age fifteen Evan was told by his mother to stay away from Rachel, the girl next door. Rachel has loved Evan since she was fourteen and now as an adult all she wants is him. This crazy tale will keep you interested and laughing.

Awful
The dialogue was awful. The girl was insane. Locking yourself in someone's house is crazy. The idea was fine, the execution left much to be desired.
