Im 2. Band geht es weiter mit Shinichi Kudo, der eigentlich 16 Jahre alt ist, aber im Körper eines 6-jährigen Jungen feststeckt. Damit ihn niemand erkennt, muss er zur Tarnung nun in die Grundschule gehen, was ihm gar nicht gefällt. Trotzdem bleibt ihm aber noch Zeit genug, dem Vater seiner Freundin Ran in dessen Detektei zu helfen und Fälle zu lösen.

Auch der 2. Band hat mir wieder sehr gefallen und mir viel Spaß bereitet beim Lesen! Die Zeichnungen sind zwar einfach, aber ausdrucksstark, und die Fälle, die Conan zu lösen hat, sind durchaus spannend und interessant. Aber auch Humor ist vorhanden, und nun freue ich mich auf den 3. Band, den ich ebenfalls lesen werde!

Favorite Case: Mysterious Shadow Case
If I were to choose my most favorite among the three cases in this volume, it has to be the Mysterious Shadow Case. Having to crack the criminal's perfect alibi will always be one of the most fun cases in Detective Conan. As as reader, you knew who the criminal was from the beginning and the only problem was to break his perfect alibi. Because not all of us are as keen as Conan, we tend to overlooked the most obvious clue. In the anime episode of this case, it was kind of like a dead end to think that the criminal has an irrefutable alibi. But that alibi was not exactly the problem. It was actually the only truth in the case. The problem was about the trick used by the criminal to make everyone believe the false time of death was the actual time of death. It was good!
Though among the cases in this volume, I also liked the 1 Billion Robbery Case because it involved the Black Organization and for me, cases involving the Black Organization in the anime were always be the intense one. I was just kind of confused because in the anime, I remember having two cases with the same 1 Billion Yen Robbery Case. Both episodes have the same female culprit named Miyano Akemi having to used the fake name Hirota Masami. Other than having a robbery case and exactly the same character name, it was a totally different case. But only one of the two episodes included the Black Organization. As I now read the case in the manga, the case was like the combination of the two episodes. I don't know if it just got overlooked in the anime or if it was intentional, though.
In this volume was also the first appearance of the cute little kids Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko. Overall, this was fun!

মাঙ্গার দেশে এসে মাঙ্গা পড়তে পারি না, কারণ ভাষা জানি না। চারদিকে হাজার হাজার সিরিজ (আক্ষরিক অর্থেই হাজার হাজার), কিন্তু বিচিত্র হিজিবিজি অক্ষর বুঝার কোন উপায় নেই। ছেলে দিব্যি পড়তে পারে জাপানিজ, কিন্তু বেশিরভাগ মাঙ্গার কাহিনি এবং গ্রাফিকস ৮-৯ বছরের বাচ্চাদের উপযুক্ত না, অন্তত আমার কাছে। জাপানি বাচ্চারা দেখি ভয়ঙ্কর গ্রাফিকসওয়ালা মাঙ্গা পড়ে যায়, কোন নিষেধ নেই। হতে পারে, এরা বেশি ম্যাচ্যুরড। যাই হোক, আমার জন্য ইংরেজি ভরসা; লাইব্রেরিতে বাচ্চাদের সেকশনে হঠাত করে ডিটেকটিভ কোনান সিরিজের এই ভল্যুমটা পেয়ে নিয়ে এলাম। এনিমে-টা কয়েক পর্ব দেখেছিলাম, এখানকার বাচ্চারা নিয়মিত দেখলেও আমার কাছে মোটেই বাচ্চাদের জিনিস মনে হয়নি, যথেষ্ট ডার্ক। জিমি কুদো নামের এক প্রাইভেট ডিটেকটিভকে তার শত্রুরা কি এক জিনিস প্রয়োগের কারণে সে ক্লাস ওয়ানের বাচ্চাতে পরিণত হয়, কিন্তু মস্তিষ্ক কাজ করে বড়দের মতই। কোনান এদোগাওয়া নাম নিয়ে এলিমেন্টারি স্কুলে ভর্তি হয়ে সে ডিটেকটিভ এর কাজ চালিয়ে যেতে থাকে। এই নিয়েই কাহিনি। মোটের উপর এন্টারটেইনিং।

This was another great volume, as Kagurou get a case where he is paid handsomely only to find that the person who he was tailing was dead and the person who hired him getsaway but then its upto Conan to prove that he was the one despite him having a perfect alibi. And the way he solves this is sheer genius. Then you have another story where a girl comes in asking them to find her father and they do and only to find him dead, the suspicion they had on a person dead, meanwhile Conan cracks the case by that tracker thing and when he does and when the identity of the person who was behind it all...and how it maybe the Men in Black further tying them into Conan's adventure is sheer genius. It was a great story and continues the mystery of these persons and the next story is of the haunted mansion with his classmates and when one of them disappears and its upto him to solve the case and when he does and all, it was another great read. This series is just so simple and has a larger plot yes but you can see how the mangaka is taking inspiration from Doyle's work on Sherlock and using same elements while also building this world and character and I am loving it a lot! Next up: Haunted mansion of Conan! Also the art is just nostalgic and incredible!

Having now read two vols of this manga series, the pattern the cases follow became much more noticeable. In every case there was some twist so as a reader you quickly learn to expect the unexpected each time.
Then the cases separate into two types. Ones where information is not revealed until the clues are put together so it’s impossible to solve the mystery alongside Conan. And ones where all the information is given from the outset so that the twist is obvious to any accomplished mystery reader and you’re left waiting for Conan to catch up.
Despite all that, the mysteries were still reliably entertaining. So whilst they were formulaic in some sense, they weren’t dull and the only thing I found slightly disappointed was the lack of progress made in the overall plot regarding the case that turned Conan young.

I wanna be a child again and wait for Conan to find the Black Syndicate while not doing my homework. My job prospects are awful but this manga is so good, it only comes second to the fruit.

Me ha encantado la aventura con sus compañeros del colegio. La anterior tenía un sutil regustillo misógino, pero también está bien. ¡Son libros muy adictivos! Especialmente porque puedes resolver los misterios con las pistas que te dan... aunque a veces lo haces antes que Conan, lo cual no habla muy bien de sus habilidades como detective, pero entiendo que yo no soy el público objetivo de estos libros. 😅

Jimmy is still stuck shrunk (say that 5 times fast), and is attending grade school. Richard Moore gets a job following someone
(A Lucrative Tailing Job) which turns into a murder case in which the suspect has photographic proof of his alibi (The Perfect Alibi, The Photo Speaks). Jimmy gets a new toy from Doc Asagwa and Richard gets a new case to find a wayward father for a young woman (The Missing Man). As always, the case leads to murder and the young woman goes missing (The Poor Girl). Richard gives P.I. lessons to a fellow P.I. as they search for the woman who wasn't what she pretended to be (Follow the Big Man!) and Jimmy learns something about the Black Syndicate (A Devilish Woman). Jimmy's school chums convince him to go search haunted houses (Mansion of Horror) but the team starts to disappear (Disappearing Children), and Jimmy/Conan solves the mystery of the haunted mansion as well as an old murder (A Nightmare in the Basement).
Rachel showcases her martial arts moves, and we're introduced to Conan's new grade-school friends. It's good that he can't take himself too seriously. This is a cute, funny series that happens to deal a lot with murder and mystery. The more I read this, the more I find the clues were there, I just didn't pay attention. But then again, I like being surprised.

Der zweite Band der Conan Serie.
Wieder warten einige schwierige Fälle auf Conan und so versucht er nebenbei zwischen dem Ausprobieren von neuen tollen Gadgets und dem Lösen von Detektivfällen von Kogoro Mori seine Tarnung aufrecht zu erhalten, indem er wie ein normales Kind in die Grundschule geht. Hier ergibt sich der erste Fall für ihn und seine neuen Freunde.
Mir hat der Band noch besser gefallen als der erste und ich freue mich bereits auf die weiteren Teile, Band Nummer 3 steht schon in meinem Bücherregal bereit :)

Second installment in the Conan series and it continues being enjoyable. The cases are pretty good, they keep you guessing. I seem to remember from the TV show that Ran was more "lady-in-distress" like so I'm glad to see she is a tough one here. (She stops a man by kicking him in the face through a car window. That's was pretty awesome and unbelievable too but whatever.)

Di volume 2 ada 3 kasus. Udah ada nih petunjuk buat BO, emang ktanya dulu gk akan dibuat serial panjang, ya. Makanya sat set. Walopun klo dipikir2 petunjuk Akemi tuh ambigu dan bikin Conan jdi cocoklogi, wkwk. Untung aja cocokloginya bener. Di awal2 berarti BO ini sibuk ya ke sama ke mari. Yg skrang2 lama bgt munculnya klo soal BO ini.

Detektiv Conan 2: 4.5 Stars
[7.17 - Amazing!]
I adored this Volume - it had a little bit of everything (well... almost at least)
We had 3 cases. The first one while being my least fave of the volume was still great - it was a perfect example of what an "Obvi"-Case should look like and gave me a lot of great character moments, especially regarding Kogoro.
The second Case was one that while I should've realized it sooner I remembered eventually what was going to happen. YES - i forgot it was THAT case. Again. (I have no Idea how I keep doing that either but hey It was a nice surprise^^). Even before I remembered I adored the case though - so that is always a good sign. Of course I am slightly biased towards this case knowing what I know - but I don't mind it because up until the final chapter I literally forgot which case it was and therefor didn't even rate them biased^^ Adore this case. Start to finish.
Case Number 3 was obviously incredible ♥ I love the detective boys with my entire heart and their coming together story/first case was such a joy. It was definitely creepy and simply showcased all three of our new friends so much. I didn't buy the ending entirely (very happy there wasn't a cop out though) but quite frankly - I didn't even care. It was such a fun time.
All in all this was an amazing volume to me and I am looking forward to continue this reread ♥

The stories are interesting, the solutions suitably clever, and while the volume does contain perhaps a bit more lighter moments than I would ordinarily have preferred, the blend between serious and fun is fine.

I found out while reading this volume that I have recently rewatched the anime episodes of the three cases, so I was already aware of the events. The art is as cute and lovely as ever, and I liked finding out how the anime is true to the manga.

In diesem Manga erleben wir einen Fall der noch viel später in der Mangareihe eine sehr wichtige Rolle spielen wird.
Ich rereade die Detektiv Conan Mangas, deswegen weiß ich dieses Detail schon und dadurch macht es das noch unheimlich Prickelnder.
Also bleibt an der Reihe daran! Es wird noch so viel fesselnder und verzwickter.
Der Band war wirklich spannend und kniffelig und stellt eine weitere mysteriöse Weiche zu den Männern in Schwarz.
Detektiv Conan auf hochtouren, schlittert von einem verzwickten Fall in den nächsten.
Ganz große Mangaliebe!

As Conan must act like a kid in order not to raise suspicion, Dr. Agasa enrolls him in school, where we’re introduced to his adorable little group of friends. They invite him to an abandoned mansion, where Conan solves a years-long mystery. I really enjoyed the case of the irrefutable alibi and the new gadgets too. And among the several missing person cases and the bank robbery, the Black Syndicate is involved again! Conan has been trying to find them ever since they attacked and shrunk him in the last volume, so that he can reverse what they did and become his own age again. I LOVE this manga!!!

Keren! Koleksi saya baru 3 Volume sampai saat ini. Vol 1, 2 dan lompat ke Vol 4. Volume 3 masih bertengger dengan bersahaja di rak Gramedia, bentaran aja dibeli, skalian sama Vol. 5 jugakk. -_-
Di volume ke 2 ini, Conan harus bersekolah dan belajar di SD Teitan, dengan alasan yang dikarang Profesor Agasha kalau orang tuanya pergi meninggalkan Conan tanpa pemberitahuan ke luar negeri. Mau tidak mau ia harus kembali ke kelas 2 SD, dan tinggal bersama dengan Ran. Di sekolahnya, Conan bertemu dengan teman barunya, sesama anak anak. Disini pula awal Conan bersama Genta, Ayumi dan Mitsu membentuk diri mereka menjadi Tim Detektif Cilik, untuk membantu penyelidikan kasus yang ditangani kepolisian setempat daaann, tentunya si Detektif Mouri.
Di Volume 2 ini pula, Profesor Agasa memberikan alat ciptaannya ke Conan berupa Sepatu Penguat Tendangan untuk membantunya menghajar pelaku kriminal. Profesor Agasha berkata bahwa sepatu itu, dengan tenaga magnet dan listrik, merangsang aliran darah pada kaki dan meningkatkan kekuatan otot kaki sampai maksimal. Conan pula diberikan Kaca Mata Pelacak Penjahat. Proses kerjanya, kaca mata yang akan ia pakai adalah pendeteksi titik kordinat yang ingin dilacak, dan alat pelacak sebelumnya harus ditempel atau diselipkan ke objek yang ingin dilacak. Tinggal di set kaca matanya, maka radar akan muncul pada lensa dan akan muncul titik kordinat keberadaan objek yang sudah diselipkan pelacak tadi. Keren!
Niatnya mau koleksi semua Volume dari komik Conan ini. Semoga tercapai dan stok per-Volumenya ada trus secara ajaib di rak gramedia. Huhu….

Awal volume 02 ini menampilkan Conan yang terpaksa menjadi murid kelas 1 SD lagi. Lucu juga sih lihatnya. Aku ngelihat Conan itu kayak lihat Holmes. Sama-sama sombong gitu. Untungnya sama-sama pinter. Hadeuh.
Oke, sedikit spoiler, di volume kali ini muncul salah satu tokoh penting untuk keberlangsungan Detektif Conan seterusnya. Siapa lagi kalau bukan Akemi Miyano. Wow. Aku baru sadar kalau Akemi munculnya di volume 02. Kupikir masih nanti-nanti. *ketahuan dulu bacanya ekspress, hehe.

Awal volume 02 ini menampilkan Conan yang terpaksa menjadi murid kelas 1 SD lagi. Lucu juga sih lihatnya. Aku ngelihat Conan itu kayak lihat Holmes. Sama-sama sombong gitu. Untungnya sama-sama pinter. Hadeuh.
Oke, sedikit spoiler, di volume kali ini muncul salah satu tokoh penting untuk keberlangsungan Detektif Conan seterusnya. Siapa lagi kalau bukan Akemi Miyano. Wow. Aku baru sadar kalau Akemi munculnya di volume 02. Kupikir masih nanti-nanti. *ketahuan dulu bacanya ekspress, hehe.

Conan goes back to school, 1st grade style. A new clue emerges about the mysterious men in black or are they ? And Conan takes cute to a whole new level.
I don't know how these guys do it. I mean, people are dying left, right, and center and somehow the story still manages to be cute and silly while handling death seriously.
I wish more time could be put into the chapter by chapter cases. They felt a little rushed this volume but that may have been due to me just reading too fast. It just sucks me in! The writers and artist behind everything are just amazing. If only all crime writing was this good!

Conan masuk SD kelas 1 dengan pelajaran 1+1 = 2 hehehehe... Seri kedua tidak terlalu menarik, meski pria jubah hitam sempat muncul sebentar. Dari ketiga kasus, yang kusuka adalah pembunuhan taruhan 5 milyar. Tapi yang bikin mengganjal, tidak ada penjelasan bagaimana mayat Pak Negisi bisa berada dan terbakar di festival.
Selain itu, aksi empat bocah SD menyelidiki rumah hantu dan ditutup dengan 'Rumah Eto' sukses bikin ketiwi....

This manga series is somewhat easier for me to read than most, because I have little difficulty telling who's who. The protagonist is a high-school-age student who's been shrunk to the size of a first-grader. While he tries to figure out how to undo the potion, he continues to help solve crimes. It's mildly entertaining and at times rather funny.
