Jessica thinks the cool thing about having a twin is that you can always count on her to help you out. Especially when your twin is superperfect, ultrasweet, never-gets-mad Elizabeth.

But...

Elizabeth doesn't understand why Jessica can't solve her own problems for once. Really, if she didn't love her sister, she might have to strangle her!

Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.

I read the whole series when I was a kid and this one was the best one! Jessica was the coolest, Elizabeth was lame. Hahaha jk

Part of why I love these books is that the POV keeps shifting - we're seeing a lot more than just Jessica and Elizabeth, which is a nice change for Sweet Valley books.

Here we see Jessica floundering badly - and desperate for help. Getting Liz to pull the twin switch takes some doing - and seems cowardly. She needs to trust the people around her a lot more, something I hope she learns in the end.

Jess comes off more human in this series than any other, which makes we wonder what happens to bring her back to her usual icky self in the SVH books. Doesn't she learn anything? Ah well, at least this book was fun to read. :)

Nothing like Sweet Valley Jr. High to get me out of a reading slump. This one was one if my favorites as a pre teen and I can see why. It’s fun! And it didn’t have any chapter from Anna’s pov, so that’s already a big win imo.

I liked it just for the characters but found the idea of switch kind of silly in this context. But great to see them all guess it one by one!

Well, I mean I get all excited when I think about dances (the key word thier is 'think') but when I HEAR about dances I feel like going to sleep. or READ about them. But it was okay. these are such quick reads. But it was sad (even though Jessica is a toot) that everybody gave Jessica a very (and I mean VERY) hard time. What jerks! Damon wasn't so bad though. I love how these books show a POV of almost every character. I just love that. But I think Kristin thinks that she is such hot stuff (little Miss Perfect) just because she is class president! I hate when people think that they are just so much better than everybody else! it just really bugs me a lot. well anyways, I kinda liked this book and that's all thier is to it. I hope you rate however you want to rate it and enjoy the book!

I reread this during the weekend. Suddenly have a SVJH craving I can't let go :)

This one's my favorite, actually, out of the whole bunch. It wins best cover because both just look so cute here, and the plot is also adorable.
