Classic Alexa Riley. Instalove, OTT alpha and safe.

-no cheating
-no om drama
-ow drama- some flirting from the town hussy (hero was oblivious) and the waitress at the restaurant. Nothing over the top
-heroine pushed hero away for a very short time
-instalove
-no violence of any nature
-set up for book 2 looks good. (im hoping both were celibate after meeting but some thing mentioned in book 1 makes me leary)
-just ok epilogue 5 years later- was hoping for more info on their lives

I love small town romance, and when it’s a little slice of paradise even better. AR gave her winning formula and the added bit of angst just made it more enrapturing! Liam and Nikki were fantastic! Now I’m dying for Cyrus and Sammy’s banter filled story! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Cute little island romance.

Liam is a rich workaholic. His Luxury Resorts are known throughout America and people often book a year in advance. He’s wanting to expand his resort on Dynasty Island.
He’s annoyed he’s having to fly in and deal in person with the owner of the failing Mermaid.

Nicole has hung on as long as she can but the Mermaid is just not making enough money.

You know how it goes from here but it’s a cute and sexy island read. I liked both Nicole and Liam as well as Sammy and the sheriff. And now I’m looking forward to their book.

Quick and smutty.

A good smutty quickie by Alexa Riley. A moody dude in a suit, and a beach bombshell working hard to keep her family business afloat. They shouldn’t attract, but they do. Then steamy goodness and angsty goodness. Super quick as per usual.

Soon the hero and heroine do the bang bang bangitty bang- despite the H knowing who the h is and hiding his identity from her. But truth is soon revealed,and hell breaks loose!

Nikki decides to let loose and hang out at the local bar and suddenly her financial woes are the last thing on her mind. Her focus is suddenly on him, but things aren't always as they seem, and soon she learns who he is and why he's there.

Was she just part of his plan to get what he wants? Does he truly feel anything for her? Can she save the Mermaid or will she lose everything she's ever loved, including him?

I wanted to love it but I just didn't really care for Liam. He was ready to just indulge in a one- night stand and then discard Nicole. (Or just part ways. Whatever sounds nicer.) Not our usual pattern of thinking for the insanely jealous alphas from Alexa Riley. Though he did changed his mind once he got a taste of the heroine. But eh, he wasn't up to par with the classic heroes so it tainted my joy from there on. Couldn't get it back.

However, I'm excited for Sammy's (Nicole's bestie) and Cyrus (Sheriff) book. She's so feisty, full of piss and vinegar. And DAMN angry at Cyrus for disappearing from her life. Definitely going to make Cyrus go full mode caveman on her when he snaps. lols

This was a cute summer read! I did enjoy Nicole and Liam. I loved that when the situation got tough, he fought for his girl and their HEA.
It’s not going to be my favorite, but I did enjoy it. I’m excited to read Her Paradise and see what happened to the other couple.

Liam Armstrong is stuck flying to remote Dynasty Island to try and convince the owner of the Mermaid Bed and Breakfast to sell to him so he can expand his resort. Nicole was born and raised on Dynasty Island and she took over the Mermaid when her beloved grandparents died. She loves the bed and breakfast and she loves the Island and has no intention of selling but she’s having a hard time keeping up with it. Liam gets stuck spending the night on the island and books a room at the Mermaid. He goes to a local bar and ends up falling ass over backwards for a local girl.

There is everything that you would expect from an Alexa Riley book, it’s short, sweet, smutty with an OTT alpha male and a feisty virgin heroine. Perfectly safe in every way.

Liam Armstrong is used to getting what he wants without having to work for it but not this time, what he wants is a little Bed and Breakfast and the owners are refusing to sell. Making a trip to convince the owners he’s caught in a rainstorm and left with little choice but to spend the night in the quaint little place he wants to buy. Needing something to eat he heads to the local bar where he is stunned to see the most perfect woman, he knows right there and then he’s in trouble but nothing could keep him away from him. She’s his to claim but things are never that simple!

Nicole has lived on the island her whole life and can’t picture being anywhere else, but soon she might have no choice after her grandparents death she’s being doing her best to keep the bed and breakfast above water but she’s slowly sinking and can’t see any other way than having to sell her home and her livelihood. Needing a night off she and her best friend head out for a night of dancing and fun. When she spots Liam something shifts and she knows tonight she’s his heart and soul but with secrets and lies between them can Liam convince her that he wants her more than anything else or has he lost the best thing to ever happen to him?

Cute novella and I liked everything about it. The ONLY reason I didn't give it a full five was the other couple. I was SO interested in them I found myself shoving the main characters aside trying to piece together what was going on with those two? Gah!

Fast and furious! Alexa Riley's MO and this book doesn't disappoint with its OTT romance and just enough story to leave you with the warm fuzzy feeling instead of the rode hard put up wet feeling. I'm on an AR binge and not sure I'm going to stop anytime soon. #sorrynotsorry

Liam our alpha MMC, has come to Nikki's small island and he means business. The resort tycoon is out for blood and money and is hell bent on taking her family hotel. Too bad Nikki has no idea the handsome stranger with the alpha male ways she met in the local bar just happens to be the same dude. No what is she to do, not only is she loosing her hotel but shes lost her heart somewhere back there too, and his betrayal is just too much to handle.

I have to say that these author's have some excellent talent when it comes to setting up the next book in the series.. its so artfully incorporated into the story but soo obvious at the same time. Of course I'm on pins and needles wanting to know how Sammy and Cyrus are going to fix their mess all the while Nikki and Liam's mess is going on! All this mess.. I'm basically in heaven lol.

Liam is a the owner of Luxury resorts all over the U. S. He’s had to take time off his very busy schedule to come to Dynasty Island to convince the owner of a B & B to sell to him so he can expand his Luxury resort.

Nicole is the owner of the Mermaid. It’s the only thing she has left from her grandparents and she knows she’s close to losing it.

Liam and Nicole meet by chance at the town bar and their attraction was instant.

This was a quick read with a broody rich H and a sweet h who fall for her each other almost instantly.

His Paradise by Alexa Riley was a sexy and sweet story set on a paradise island. Liam Armstrong is all about work. It’s been a long time since he played. But right now he is a man on a mission. He needs to buy the small hotel next to his resort to expand. He will get this done no matter the consequences.

Nicole has lived her life on the island. It is not only her business now that her grandparents have passed, but it is also her home. Her family and friend are here. What truly matters is here. Though she knows business is not good and she may not be able to hold onto it much longer, she hope and dreams.

I loved Liam. He is your typical Alexa Riley man. He was sexy, domineering, confident and a total caveman. One look at Nicole and he knows she is his. Nicole wants a man who is strong and honest and will value her above all else. But what will happen when truths and secrets are revealed? Can they find their happily-ever-after in paradise?

His Paradise was sweet, sexy and steamy story. It is a quick read and one that was truly enjoyable, but then again, I am a huge Alexa Riley fan.

Nicole is just trying to get by. Her small hotel is failing and there is nothing she can do about it. This is the last piece she has of her grandparents and she's not ready to give it up.

They meet by chance and he instantly knows she's the gamechanger. Once he finds out who she really is, he must make the decision; still go after his initial plans or change the whole course of his life? Well that's an easy decision after one night with Nicole.

Once the truth of who he really is comes out, can Nicole forgive him or will she finally lose everything that ever meant anything to her.
