For two days or 30 hours to be exact, I flipped through the pages of Finding Makoti. My experience was one filled with emotions I had never felt before.
Flipping through the book took me not only though the author's journey, but it subtly channeled me to introspect my own.
As I started reading the book I was so happy and excited. I was sad then I was angry, then I laughed, then I cheered and finally I cried!!! I only cried right at the end!
How could a book make me feel this way? I'm not one to open up, but I felt like I suddenly wanted to talk to someone about what I was feeling!
Coming from some one who's had their fair share of relationship drama - I'll never look at relationships and marriage the same. I promise you!
When you finally read Finding Makoti; take a deep breath, take a sip of wine and don't resist what happens to you in the process. Give your testimony, unchain yourself from the heartbreak and find eternal happiness. This is the truest book coming out of a young African man that you will read in your life time.
the book is capturing and keeps you hooked on it, i think that is why it took me a day to read it, but i would really like to go into details regarding the events that happened, i kept wanting more as i read until i finished, i'm hoping there is another book coming
Ever held a book and you were like: "Hmm interesting book title". Yeap that's what happened to me when I first held onto this wonderful book. I was hooked on the first "chapter". The book has this welcoming sense of writing style, an eye appealing structure which is quite common, ENGAGING is the word. Throughout the whole book, one would say they are there within the scenarios. Scotty Wang sense of captivating writing is one that is a clear narrative that places the reader in the scene and keeps you captivated that the first flip of the page becomes more flips till you in the middle of the book arguing(guilty as charged) with Scott's moves when he went back to Rose (spoiler alert) and ending up with a "I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO BACK" to a shed of a tear seeing you feel so involved... To sum it up, this is a great book and value for your buck... Five stars indeed

I got to understand that the "mispells" of the book are what made it even more authentic. A rollercoaster that feels familiar, It’s probably why I could almost hear a voice while reading. Like someone is telling me the story or like even the narrator or main character. Smart. Very smart.
I guess the understanding and flow is in the pronounciation. Not the written spelling.
Keep it real. Xant wait to read the upcoming one. Thanks for the gift if your insight.
