This is a collection of teachings from Yogi Bhajan's Masters Touch courses, in which he explains the path of the Teacher. He does it with wit, compassion, and a practical sense of the challenges of daily life. These are the pointed and inspiring teachings of and for the Age of Aquarius. Yogi Bhajan brings a world view and scope of awareness, offering unique insights into the human character. This book is for every student of Truth. Whatever path you have chosen, it will give you an understanding of the true meaning of mastery. The yoga exercises and meditations in this book will challenge and revitalize you. This book contains the lectures and meditations that Yogi Bhajan taught during his Master's Touch courses in July 1996, in Espanola, New Mexico, and in April 1997 in Assisi, Italy. They are presented here as a resource for all people on a spiritual path looking to open new doors, to stretch or challenge themselves. In it, Yogi Bhajan explains the importance of spiritual discipline in facing the challenges of life. And, most of all, he sets the blueprint of what it means to be a true and sacred spiritual teacher for this New Age, the Age of Aquarius.
A wonderful resource for Kundalini yoga teaching, and for being a teacher of anything. Yogi Bhajan understands and explains being a teacher as being a sacred channel - 'A Teacher is an institution for help, for service, for raising people's consciousness, and granting them the heavens.' The transcription of a series of classes that Yogi Bhajan gave on teaching yoga examines a myriad of facets of this idea, using meditations to help integrate all the ideas. Doing Kundalini teacher training and working with his thoughts on teaching has given me respect and confidence in myself as a teacher, not just for yoga but for all the things I teach. What a pity it was set in a sans serif typeface, which is so difficult to read, especially with the long lines on the wide pages. I hope that more experienced typesetters will improve any reprints of this book by setting it in a serif typeface.
I enjoyed this very much although it was not my favorite since I did not understand it well. I remembe it was a little bit about classes and the Third Eye. My favorite part was that it was about Yogi Bahjan's classes.
