Estranged daughter Eva Dienner has been staying with her in-laws since her husband was killed in a fire, but now she wants her son to meet his maternal grandparents. Upon her return, Eva finds that the man her parents always intended for her is living in their daadihaus and running the dairy farm for them for free, despite her suspicions of him taking advantage of her family. No place like Home is the first story in the book ‘An Amish Homecoming’. Like always, I was not disappointed in reading another novella from Amy Clipston. Eva spent years away from her family due to a disagreement. I enjoyed reading about her growth being Back Home and mending her heart. The ending was so touching. Can’t wait to see what the other Novellas have in store.

There's No Place Like Home is a amazing story written by Amy Clipston. The storyline is one that makes you think of giving and receiving second chances.

The characters are wonderful. Eva has many decisions to make but the most important one is whether she can forgive her parents for their decisions and actions. Ian is an amazing Amish man and takes an instant liking to Eva's son, Junior. Can Eva give Ian a second chance? It doesn't look good.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.

Congratulations to Amy Clipston for writing another fantastic story for her readers to enjoy. I look forward to more amazing stories from this author in the future.

Another bestseller to me

I love following Eve story. I loved the bakery series and this is becoming the same in my heart as the bakery series! This story is overcoming hurts and and learning how to forgive. Lots of disappointments but how God can help them turn into happiness! Thank you Amy for this amazing journey!

Returning home

Eva lost her husband in an accident, he was a volunteer fireman in Ronks where they lived. When she left her parent's home it wasn't a blessing they gave her, there was hurtful feelings. This book was about love and forgiveness and how Eva was able to move on with her and her son . I really loved how the author wrote this book.

If you enjoyed the first book in the Amish Homestead series (A Place at Our Table), this novella features one of the minor characters in that book. Her name is Eva Dienner and we learn her backstory in No Place Like Home. She is a young widower and estranged from her family. In this book we find out what happens and how her life is intertwined with the Riehl Family. I'm sure this is one any Amy Clipston fan will not want to miss !!
