This book is about a dog that thinks his name is No because his family says it to him so much, but since he thinks that's his name, he thinks his family loves him so much, and he works very hard to be good. This is a very cute book that is funny and will make kids laugh, and also learn how to read and spell the word 'no', since it says it so much in the book and is written in big letters. This book has won the Moonbeam Children's Book Award, and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Best Book Award. I think this would be a fun read aloud book or guided reading book because it doesn't have many words, and the ones it does have are fairly simple, plus it has quite a few repeated words, and pictures that will help with words the students don't know.
