The farm animals make funny faces in this ultra cute book. The book also has felt animals on the outside of it. Children are able to see the animals, feel them and learn the sounds they make. Children learn how to quack Blake the Drake. Children learn how to moo from Moo-riel. Children learn how to oink from Digger. Children learn how to baaa from Sam Ram. The children also are introduced to facts about the animals.

This is a cute book for all ages in elementary school. This book is catered to the tastes and interests of younger readers. I would read this book to a group of Pre-Kers to Kindergartners. In the older grades I would ask students to research one of the listed animals in the book. I would ask them to pick their favorite animal and write a poem or shirt story about the animal.

The book would serve as a resource for a mini lesson on the use of voice. The author uses the animals' voice to make us visualize and hear how they sound in their natural habitat. I will encourage the children to use voice on topics other than animals.
