Kendal Pitner is a member of the local witch coven, and she’s been in love with Auran Spenport, the alpha of one of the local wolf packs, since high school. After a night of passion, Kendal and Auran find themselves working together when cubs from the local packs go missing.

Kendal and her coven cast a protection spell on the wolves, but because of the amount of power it required, Kendal found herself burned out. Despite her recent ordeal, she’s determined to help find those responsible for luring the cubs away. Her resolve to help may hinder the search, and it could cost her the ultimate price…her life.

I'm a fan of the paranormal romance genre so a witch and wolf falling in love sounded fun to me! It was an easy read with a HEA and a good start for a series as there's a whole world left to explore. I would recommend adding this to your TBR as a quick PNR read.

However, I have a few gripes that contain some general SPOILERS. We didn't get the hero's POV very often. When I read romances, I like getting both views. Additionally, there wasn't a great deal of romantic tension. This book is NOT a 'will they or won't they' kind of book. They hook up quickly, confess their feelings, and basically ride out a developing outside threat. In many ways, that's a good thing as it seemed like the focus would be on the witchcraft, the vampire threat, the change in the heroine's abilities. These things weren't overly developed either though - the action/ rescue sequence were definitely glossed over.

So, why am I recommending it? First, it is an easy read - you don't get bogged down in useless details and there are minimal typos. Second, I liked the characters (esp. a couple of side characters). Third, I'd like to see more of the world the author introduced. If a book can make me curious and leave me wanting more then that's a win.

Give this one a chance if PNR is your thing!

Auran he will do anything for the love of his life Kendal, he always had his eyes on her until finally he admitted to her "you're mine" what coincidence she has her eyes on him for years too" his baby blue eyes was make her crazy. She is a witch and he is a wolf. He will protect her for anything that try to interfere with her. The struggle they go thru to safe his pack. Unexpected things happened to Kendal that make their relationship stronger and more fond between them. Nothing will change for them to mate and have their happy moments ? But will they survive the events coming to bring them down?!

If you want a little romance and more this will be your read you looking for

Another good read.
A witch and a wolf fall in love. The story is strong, the only downfall was I thought it too short, a rare thing for me to say, but I felt it was a bit rushed. This would have made a great longer book.
