I love J A Whiting books and I can always follow the plot. However in this book, I kept wondering if the Safe was stolen or not. I know it's not that important, but it was confusing to me. I thought it had been taken, but then another time, I figured it hadn't. It's a silly thing to get caught up in, but it kept me from enjoying the book as much as I would have liked.
I liked the way the author gave us a choice of who the murderer was. It kept the pace up and I wanted to keep reading to find out. The winter discriotions of the area were great. Made me want to be there. Good, I like her writing style and I have read many of her books and want to read more. Thanks J. A.
I enjoyed this mysterious adventure of the characters in this story of murder and crime. The author has sprinkled some romance in, which doesn't hurt the tale.
Another enjoyable tale from JA Whiting. I didn't find it to be quite as exciting as her other Paxton Park that I've read, Peril in PP, but this was still very entertaining. Unfortunately all the signs pointed to the killer from early in the book, and therefore the suspense was lost on me.
Cute and. Fun to read. J A writer great mysteries whether is one of her cozy mysteries you can read quickly and get time for yourself or one of her more thrilled mysteries. You can't go wrong reading one of her books
I always enjoy cozy mystery and this was no exception. The story and characters were interesting with plenty of suspense twists and turns. This book is recommended for those who love cozy mysteries.
I just love reading this series and the other series by J A Whiting. I have read all of the books in each of her series she is such a good story teller. Good characters and great stories I really like the way she writes these mystery series.
I liked the book overall but the storyline seemed to be watered down. It was a fluff piece good to unwind with but little suspense. The author has done much better writing.
Enjoying this series of books. Like the characters and story has lots of twists and facts to keep you thinking. If is nice tho see the growth in the characters. Look forward to the next one.
