I believe the title of this book does not do it justice. Garden techniques that were implemented long ago can teach us where gardening techniques to produce huge crops went in the wrong direction for our environment and well being. I am trying to implement several of these techniques with my perennials to see how well they work this year in my own garden. I have so enjoyed reading this book.
