Blurb: Women say I'm trouble. And well, they aren't wrong. Billionaire. Real estate mogul. And insomniac. Which is what led me to her. She is beautiful. Perfect kissable lips. This ends on a cliffhanger which I wasn’t expecting. I know that it’s a series but assumed that with each brother getting their own book, there would at least be some conclusion to the love story of the main hero/heroine. Literally they aren’t even “together” at the end of this book.
I found it to be rather boring with not a lot of anything going on. The excitement the author attempts to create felt forced. I won’t continue this series because I don’t care enough about any of these characters to keep reading.
Wild And Free ends abruptly. It’s Lucas and Jessica’s story, and though it is the first book in the series, I think their story might meld into the next Wilder brother book. The story introduces the brothers: Lucas, Flynn, Everett, Cayden, Cash, and their cousin, Drew.
Lucas and his brothers have a construction business. And as he struggles with insomnia, begins working on their current restoration project. Lucas falls from the ladder and gets injured. He has enough strength to drag himself for help. But when he wakes at the hospital, all he can remember is kind eyes, the woman who helps save him.
Jessica works at Southern’s Pub and Tavern, and she’ll never forget the night a handsome stranger stumbles into the bar, bleeding and helpless. But soon Lucas and Jessica meet at a party and there is no denying the attraction. Will we see what happens in this budding relationship? I was hoping for more character development and connection with Lucas and Jessica, but that might get answered in the next book. The story ends in a cliffy and it just feels incomplete. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
A wonderful, entertaining and engaging well written fun sweet and steamy start of a series that ends on a cliffhanger. Lucas is one of the 5 Wild brothers that is a real estate investor that restores houses. He a has insomnia and one night falls stabbing himself and stumbles in where Jessica is working and she won't allow him a drink and realizes he is injured and seeks him help. It has fun, steamy, hot, and spicy dialogue with mutal explosive chemistry in the entertaining story that had me hooked from page one. It is written in dual POV'S with interesting, funny, and likeable characters. A must have can't wait for book two. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
Wow, this was an ok story but incredibly short. And there is No ending... it simply stops! I am kinda reeling right now. Luckily the next book is actually available but I’m not sure how I’ll feel if the next one ends like this one. I do like series books but I want to continue reading because I like the characters and want to watch as they develop, not because the book just abruptly stops. There are also a lot of issues with the editing. Really had a lot of trouble deciding on my rating for this one.
I am genuinely so sorry for how much of a hater I am. No idea why I do this. I just gotta nit-pick every story I write.
This one was nice and short, but extremely conversation-heavy. A lot of moments where the reader is being spoon-fed what the writer wants us to feel without giving us reason to do so—this idea of suddenly falling completely in love with someone and devoting yourself to them after meeting them once lmao. The conversation is cringy and the characters are so cliché. Also frustrating that it has no actual storyline until the end, where it’s a cliffhanger anyway.
Started off really well the characters were amazing. The issue I have was that it was way too short I was waiting to see what was happening between Jessica and Lucas besides the amazing, hot sex they have. And all of a sudden a dang cliffhanger. Let's hope book 2 will pick up where book 1 left off.
arc review For honest review. Jessica works at the southern pub and tavern when Lucas wilder comes in hurt . He can't stop thinking of the girl that helped him. Till he sees her again. This was a great story but I didn't like the ending in hoping there is another book so I can hear more about these characters. Other then that great book.
I read a preview of this book and was immediately hooked. I knew I had to finish it. I really liked this book and figured it was just going to be a instant love short story. I honestly did not expect that ending. Talk about cliffhangers. Now I want to know what that was all about because I am left dumbfounded and confused. Off to the next one...
As always well written. Characters that are well described and develops nicely through the story. I like the story has an is written in dual POV which gives the reader a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and brings the reader more into the story. Recommendable engaging and captivating story but I would have liked it to have an ending not the cliffhanger it has.
This was a pretty good first installment in this series. I really don't like cliffhangers, though. I'm not sure how these books will click together, but I'm curious. The next book is about another brother, but this book didn't even have a HEA, so I'm confused and not exactly happy about it. The rest of the book was okay, so I am headed to the next book now.
I was really enjoying this story and the characters. I turned the page excited to see what was going to happen next, and to my surprise that was the end. I received an advanced copy for my honest review. Maybe my early copy is missing the last few chapters. I will definitely read the next book to see if that is the case.
This the start of Lucas and Jessica's story (warning: cliffhanger ahead). This is a fun, sweet and steamy read. Characters have great chemistry and the plot was entertaining. Wish I had known about the cliffhanger before hand though. This my completely honest, voluntary review.
For once prince charming falls into the arms of a woman. Lucas suffers an injury and can't remember who helped him. Jessie was just working her job with a gorgeous man comes in. This book had love, family, friendship and passion...can't wait to find out what happens
I truly enjoyed reading this book it was full of mystery, intrigue, and romance! I would definitely recommend this book to read! I can't wait to see what happens next!🙌🙌
This would have been a five star...the story was great, but for the cliffhanger. I wish authors would finish a story before publishing it, it ruins a story to have to wait for an installment.
Too short is leading cause of all my problems then the conflict that happens on the end isn’t solved because I’m going to guess the conflict is the same for the other brothers love stories.
I enjoyed this book, however it ends on a cliffhanger and I was not prepared for that. The chemistry between the characters is good. However, I feel the author could have developed the relationship a bit more. I assume that may come in subsequent books.
I really enjoyed this fun and entertaining read. Jessica and Lucas have great chemistry and their story really draws you in. Looking forward to reading more of the series.
This book is hot!! Its a quick short read. It did leave off with a cliffhanger. But so worth it. Cant wait to read more about Jessica and Lucas, along with the other brothers!
Ok this was a really sweet and steamy book. But OMG that freaken ending sucked and the characters aren't even the main characters in the next book 😭. Why why why.
Really got into this story fast. From the first word to the last. AWESOME ! ! ! Lets see what comes next. Thank you for taking time to write this story.
