Always an adventurer in life as well as writing, New York Times best-selling author Cherry Adair moved halfway across the globe from Cape Town, South Africa to the United States in her early years to become a interior designer. Now a resident of the Pacific Northwest she shares the award- winning adventures of her fictional T-FLAC counter terrorism operatives with her readers.

Cherry settled in beautiful San Francisco, where she started what eventually became a thriving interior design business. "I loved being a designer because it was varied and creative, and I enjoyed working with the public." A voracious reader when she was able to carve out the time, Cherry found her brain crowded with characters and stories of her own. "Eventually," she says, "the stories demanded to be told."

When asked why she chooses to write romantic action adventure, she says, "Who says you can’t have adventure and a great love life? Of course if you’re talking about an adventurous love life, that’s another thing altogether. I write romantic suspense coupled heart-pounding adventure because I like to entertain, and nothing keeps readers happier than a rollercoaster read, followed by a happy ending."

Popular on the workshop circuit, Cherry gives lively classes on writing and the writing life. Pulling no punches when asked how to become a published writer, Cherry insists, "Sit your butt in the chair and write. There's no magic to it. Writing is hard work. It isn't for sissies or whiners."

Cherry loves to spend time at home. A corner desk keeps her focused on writing, but the windows behind her, with a panoramic view of the front gardens, are always calling her to come outside and play. Her office has nine-foot ceilings, a fireplace, a television and built-in bookcases that will house approximately 3,500 paperback books.

"What can I say? My keeper shelf has been breeding in the middle of the night, rather like drycleaners' wire clothes hangers.”

I absolutely loved the ending of this book. The rest of it, not so much. The T-FLAC series is a great romantic-suspense adventure series. This group of covert operatives never fail to deliver a good read.

A. J. Cooper is a beautiful woman and one of the best snipers to come out of the T-FLAC Academy. Now on her first op, she has a lot to prove and her commanding officer just happens to be her hero, Kane Wright, T-FLAC royalty. It is really difficult trying to keep her mind on the op when everything she learns about Kane, just makes her want him all the more.

Kane Wright has spent his career in T-FLAC hiding in plain sight and doing it very successfully. Not he is in charge to taking out one of the world's worst terrorists and he really doesn't need the gorgeous distraction that is A. J. Cooper. When the op takes a tragic turn it is up to A. J. and Kane to trek through the Sahara Desert and save the day. The only thing hotter than the desert heat is the passion between Kane and A. J.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I enjoy this series. I really liked this one. I know everyone is all about the Camel thing but I found it quite humorous. Doable? Who knows but in this instance it's fiction. I liked all the Wright brothers. Kane is awesome. AJ was just the right woman for him. She brought out the best of him. The name guessing was hilarious. Lots of action, suspense, romance, sex and humor. I give it 4 stars!

Book #5 in the T-FLAC series and I was glad this one finally came to an end. It wore me flat out! The story took AWHILE to get the characters set up and moving along. I had to resist the strong urge to put this book down and pick up something else to read.

I didn't care for Kane or AJ's character, and frankly, I could have done without the bickering.

The entire book is set in Egypt, i.e., sand & heat. I thought the book dragged in several places, scene transitions could have been smoother; I was jerked out of the story on more than one occasion. Some chapters ended abruptly then picked up in a whole new day. I'm sorry to say, but This Reader felt lost a time or two.

I laughed at all the ridiculous names Kane came up with trying to guess what "AJ" stood for. He would throw out a new name at the most unexpected times: Abbreviate Jabberer (she talked a lot), Agatha Jethro, Amy Jean, Angina, Anabelle, Antartica Joy, Allison Jumpup, Aphrodite Jacintha.

3 Stars from This Reader because I liked it, but not much.

Absolute Joy! (You have to read the book to see why that phrase fits)...

Of all the T-FLAC series I've read so far, the banter and humor between Kane Wright and AJ Cooper - in addition to the riddle he tries to solve throughout the story - makes Out of Sight a book you can't put down.

The characters... AJ Cooper is an alpha female to the max. But she's so beautiful no one looked beneath the surface to see the brains and brawn. Going undercover as a fashion model certainly isn't a stretch and gets her paired up with photographer Kane Wright who is, of course, a never-lose-control alpha male. They are exciting together and you can feel the electricity in Cherry Adair's work here.

I haven't read this book yet - and to be honest, I don't know when if I will - but I've been hearing about the "camel scene" for so many years that I had to ask my dear friend Auntee for the chapter/page numbers where that infamous scene takes place. I needed to understand how such a thing could work and reading those pages out of context wouldn't hurt, as a sex scene between the H/h isn't exactly a spoiler, right? ;)

Wow, what a trip! All I can say after reading it is, Ms. Adair must have been on drugs or something when she wrote that particular scene, LOL. I guess it was supposed to be fun and sexy, but I didn't get that vibe and laughed like a lunatic while reading it. Seriously, the whole thing was hysterical!

If you're curious like me, keep reading...

She twisted around to look down between them. "Can you get it out?"

"Oh, it's come out to play, honey. But that's not the problem," Kane said, laughing at the ridiculousness of what they were attempting. Only AJ… "It's the getting it in."

AJ leaned her body forward, laying across the neck of the camel, its harsh, coarse hair abrading her skin as she bared her bottom to Kane. "Now?"

He positioned her with both hands on her hips, and she leaned forward, stretched out over Kika's broad back. He withdrew his hand, trailing his damp fingers across her hip, and used them to guide himself into her. She gasped as he filled her, and the sensation was like nothing he'd ever known before. Beneath them, the stoic camel walked on, its rocking motion driving Kane as he moved within AJ's depths.

"Kika's watching us," AJ said suddenly.

"Kika," Kane said sternly, "face forward. Watch where we're going."

The curious camel lifted her lip, exposing large yellow teeth. She and Kane made eye contact. Kika blinked her ridiculously long lashes and faced forward, without missing a step.

"Thank you," AJ said. "Now, where were we?"

"One of us is naked, the other is inside the naked one," he said, his tone Sahara dry as he pulled her hard against him.

"Yum. Indeed you are." AJ flapped a hand at the camel's face. Kika lifted her lip and rolled her eyes. Disgruntled, AJ twisted to look back at Kane. "I don't think I can have wild camel sex with Kika watching."

"Are you nuts?" Kane demanded. "After all this contorting, you're telling me no?"

"I'm not telling you no… exactly. I'm telling you I can't have sex while a camel is watching me come."

"Kika," Kane said firmly. "Go. Go. Go."

The camel picked up speed and started trotting. The fastest she'd gone since they'd started the journey.

"U-uncle," AJ cried as Kane's penis was jammed high inside her with each jarring thud of Kika's splayed feet in the sand. It felt incredible. Wonderful. Full. Too much… Ahhhh. Perfect. "Oh, Lord. This is amazing. Isn't it amazing?"

"Amazing," Kane agreed. "Run, Kika," he said, and the camel quickened her steps even further, doing all the work for Kane, until all he had to do was hold on and ride out the storm as AJ's body tightened over his and they came together like liquid lightning.

Their bodies trembled from the force of their pleasure, and it was several long minutes before AJ could manage to speak coherently. "Takes the word 'humping' to a whole new level, doesn't it?" She laughed as she sank back against him, their bodies still joined.

So, who would like to take a wild camel ride and tell me if what Kyle and AJ did is doable? LOL!

Out of Sight was full of non-stop action and fantastic characters I really ended up liking as they raced across the desert on a mission to shut down a madman-- and fell a bit in love along the way.

I really enjoyed both AJ and Kane *girly swoon* I loved Kane. But first AJ. Alright she's the first female T-FLAC agent we've read about and she's pretty awesome even if she's not quite perfect and can cause trouble now and again. I liked her determination and that she really didn't complain or grumble about everything they went through--and they went through some freaking crazy stuff. She's just a tough chickie and a great heroine. And Kane Wright. Damn me, but is that not a fab hero name? He's a total alpha male and master of disguise and just sexy as hell. I really liked that he was big and tough, got things done, but had hidden demons that haunted him. It was a great combo.

These two. The chemistry between them? Whewboy. Things are definitely hot and steamy. These two couldn't get enough of each other. They're relationship was a little different. It's not sweet and flowery really but damn if they aren't fun to watch together. They poke buttons and drive each other nuts and just have that fun teasing dynamic between them. One of my favorite things was Kane being hung up on figuring out what AJ stood for. It was hilarious and ridiculously fun what he came up with.

Okay a little on the sexy bits. Adair is one of my favorites when it comes to naughty scenes because she's just so blasted creative. You never know what her characters are gonna come up with and these two were creative about their loving. I don't they made it to an actual bed once single time. lol There may have even been some naughty moments during a camel ride. I mean. Really.

Really I had a great time with Out of Sight. The characters were fun and it was nice to see them on equal footing when it came to their jobs. The race across the desert was exciting and you could seriously feel their discomfort and I really liked how things all turned out. The only thing that kept this from a higher rating was the ending was a bit too rushed and logistically it just didn't quite work for me how the final showdown happened. Still though, an excellent read.

this book was not at all like the other TFLAC books i have read. the rest were suspenseful sure, but also full of laughs. this one was most certainly not. i dont think i have been on the edge of my seat reading a book in a long long time. maybe ever. it was absolutely wonderful. though in very different ways from the other books.

this time around both our hero and heroine were TFLAC agents in the middle of tracking town a top 10 terrorist. things go from bad to worse and before you know it every single world leader is being held hostage in the middle of the desert with chemical warfare in play.

the romance was on the light side. most of the sex was very non explicit until we got to the end. this book was mainly all action.

not usually what i go for but it sucked me in. i do hope we take a turn back to the lighter books from here though. this was nice for a change, and hey a i read a book with an actual plot and not just a lot of grunting and moans. i get points for that right?

Now that I've finally finished the book I'd say it was pretty enjoyable.

I thought I’d read something of hers before, but couldn’t remember how it was so that speaks for itself there. After finishing this one I looked it up and realized I’d tried to read the second in this series and actually had to slam it down after reading a handful of pages, so I’m surprised this turned out to even be readable after that atrocity. There were problems, but not ones that were so bad I wouldn’t read it again. I was pretty pleasantly surprised.

The description on the back was misleading, because it really didn’t play out like that, and it implies that A.J. took the mission solely to impress Kane, which wasn’t the case at all. She got picked for it and was gun-shy about getting shot, and then blew it, which caused Kane to be mad and not worried like it says. There wasn’t much concern, he wanted to send her back and do the mission alone because she’d screwed up. And as far as desiring her, their “long-denied passion” he acted like she didn’t even exist, not getting distracted by her and pretty much ignoring her. Then he gets caught up in lust while he’s photographing her and starts to worry about her putting her life in danger to kill Rasaaq. He pulls her out from her dinner with the man, and then they just have sex in the elevator, out of nowhere. And he walks away from it like he never did it, not really being affected and composing himself easily.

It was annoying how she wouldn’t just say what her name was, and it was very contrived how every time Kane tried to push the issue she would turn him away barely and then something would suddenly happen to distract him. It was clear the author was dragging it out until the end, when he would finally guess it right.

I actually expected more of their past, that it would resurface at the end but the end was just cut off suddenly and that was disappointing. I always expect more of a wrap-up and some alone time between the main characters. I really expected A.J. to reconnect with her father and brother and they'd come to terms with her profession and her mom would accept her as she was instead of still being bitter about her quitting the beauty pageant circuit. Instead, there's no communication between her and her family the entire book. I've never read anything like this where such a problem is introduced and then not resolved.

I would really like to see just once where an author makes a tomboy in the traditional meaning of the word. A girl who maybe dresses sporty and isn't drop dead gorgeous, model material like A.J. is. It's annoying to me when authors make tomboys that are so hot every guy that looks at them wants them, but they don't care about beauty, they don't like to dress up, and they actually prefer to be in jeans and a T-shirt. I would have appreciated it more had A.J. not had such good looks to rely on and been just pretty to Kane, because no matter how hard the author tried to slam home that A.J. didn't care about material things or being pampered, I didn't really buy it. I guess it's just natural to dislike someone who's so good-looking, everyone likes them, and they get everything like beauty really is that important. It would be nice to see the not as pretty character get love, to prove that looks aren't everything but no one will do that.

Also, the author kept trying and failing to make A.J. tough. Despite pointing out several times that A.J. didn't complain, that was all she was doing. Idk what the author thought qualified as a complaint, but complaining about the quiet, the heat, walking in the heat, etc. are complaints. Saying they're not complaints don't change the fact that they're complaints, and A.J. was doing that the whole time, making it clear that she's not as self-reliable and capable as the author wanted her to be. It's really annoying when an author says their character is one way, I guess wanting them to be that way, but all of their actions are making them completely different.

All in all though the book did have qualities that I enjoyed, their profession was really cool and their was humor thrown in and some action that made it a pretty good read. The chemistry between them was pretty good too.

The camel scene though was pretty awkward. Talking to a camel and telling them to look away while you have sex on the running animal and try to find a position that works is just strange to me. It was clumsy and not romantic at all to me!

I didn’t care for this T-FLAC instalment as much as I did the previous ones, but it is still quite a good read, it just didn’t really do it for me. A.J Cooper is trying her best to keep up with what is expected of her as a trainee under the guidance of Kane, who isn’t handling the pressure too well of being responsible for another person’s life;

“He was good at a number of things. But keeping his teammates alive wasn’t one of them.
Which is why he’d worked alone for the past two years.
He swore viciously under his breath. Angry at himself for giving in to the order to bring her. Angry at Cooper for being the rookie that she was...Hell,, angry at God for putting another roadblock to his sanity.”

The more memorable and rather unconventional scenes in this was one with a camel...That poor camel witnessed and was a part of something rather hot and steamy, but not in a twisted bestiality kind of way so no cringes. I wish I could have related to the characters more and felt for them as a couple, and then I probably would have rated this higher.

Another great addition to the T-Flac series. I seem to be doing the unthinkable and reading the series out of order, but it still works for me.

This book has everything I like about the romantic suspense genre...Solid plot, great balance of both romance and suspense, sizzling chemistry, hot sex, a kick-ass heroine and a yummy alpha hero. I loved the fact that the book started out with AJ's failure. She wasn't just portrayed as this super-woman who deals with everything as easy as water off a ducks back. I always, always (don't shoot me!) like the woman to be a bit vulnerable and I LOVE the man to be protective. Probably 'cos I have been the protectee for my brothers and later my kids all my life ?!

This was a fast pace quick read. Read it in one sitting. This is not as heavy as some of her later books, it is what I would call a 'light to medium' read. Not fluff, but not intense either.

Highly recommended

AJ Cooper has always competed with her brother, a SEAL, and her dad, a Marine, so when a chance comes to join antiterrorist group, she jumps at it. But then she gets shot in a training accident, and her confidence is jarred.
Kane Wright has reluctantly taken on an assignment in Egypt and needs a female sharpshooter to take out the target. When he's assigned Cooper, a rookie untested in combat, he's not happy, but beggars can't be chosers.
She has a little worship thing going on for Wright, while he thinks her hotness is a liability; both hide behind professionalism.
But as things start going wrong, the pressure mounts, and the attraction builds, these two stop snarling at each other and start falling in love.
The action scenes are intense, a lot of the book builds into foreplay, and there's chemistry. I liked this better than the last one in this series.
Some funny moments, some far-fetched ones (sex while riding a camel? really??), but it's a romance, people.

I love this book, it has it all. Fast pace action, feisty female character that knows how to handle a pain in the butt man. And sex on camels. Plus the extras are fun to read and see how the characters came about.

I usually like Cherry Adair, and yes, her plotlines are totally out there and unrealistic, I'm perfectly aware of that... But this one, I got to say, goes beyond... 4 words: Sex. On. A. Camel. LOL

Book 5 in the t flac series was Kyle and AJs story it was ok nothing about this series in general has thrilled me yet they are alright good for a quick read but other then that I don't love them

This was the first book where the female lead wasn't some no nothing girl who just managed to find herself in the middle of some situations it was nice to see a character you didn't have to wait till the end to see her come to her full potential

The male character Kane I don't know why but the fact that the Wright brothers aren't as clean as they came across in marnies story bugs me I get it but still just gets to me.

Third and because it's been mentioned in every other review the sex scene in this book was just way to out there it laughable

Didn't love it or like it that much but didn't hate it I read anything

3.5 stars. Enjoyable but has a couple of unbelievable parts for me.
Starts off well, goes a bit slow and unbelievable, then ends in a rush.
Somewhere in there we have the two H’s having sex on a camel which just seemed cheap and tacky.
Also sad having an operative tortured and killed.
Liked A J, she was entertaining, Kane was typical cold male H who treats heroine with disdain but is happy to use her for sex.
I find it tiresome having to go through all the bumf at the end of the story, to have this read register as a KU read for the author.
Read this series years ago, original reviews missing, rereading through Kindle Unlimited.

A.J. is a rookie sharpshooter that messes up her first assignment and Kane wants to ship her back to the States. She's the only one for the job, A.J. has been shaken after being shot during training and is determined to redeem herself by completing this mission with Kane. Kane has been burying his emotions but finds A.J. cracking his shields. It's pretty dry going the first part of the book. Then Kane seems to be a different person.

5 stars for out-there action, adventure and romance, a la James Bond, with our H/h being T-FLAC operatives trying to eliminate a terrorist in the depths of the Egyptian desert. They at first fight their attraction - until they eventually give up. 4 stars, because some parts were a little TOO over the top and unbelievable. Overall, 4.5 stars. On a camel...? First time I've read that. Enjoyable and fun. Read this for entertainment.

I could not get into this one, but I knew that coming in from the start. I'm not a fan of the completely overseas romantic suspense books, and I also am not fond of male and female MC competing for the "who has the bigger balls" award. In this case, we also add incompetence to the list of traits the female mc has which annoyed me. I mean, if you're going with the strong female character, actually make her a strong female character, not some caricature of one.

A.J. Cooper wants to be a T-FLAC agent like nobody's business. When she gets her chance, she chokes big time, but she's stuck out in the field and has to suck it up because she can't leave just yet and there's a bad guy to take down. Oh, and she's there with this broody, stone-wall of a guy who lets his displeasure of her be known.

Kane Wright is this bada$& T-FLAC agent who is as professional as they come. He's ticked at A.J. because she missed the shot that could have taken out the bad guy they were tracking. Now, they have to keep this mission going, and things keep getting worse. He hates it even more because she's hot (a former pageant gal), and he can't have her because, you know, he's a professional. Plus, he's so emotionally shut down that he hasn't had sex in two years anyhow.

Well, to bad so sad. They bang anyhow. In fact, a lot. The book is so much sex and so much action. Oh, boy. It's nonstop. I hated the put-downs Kane did for A.J. and A.J. constantly trying to "prove" herself to the a$&hole. And yes, he acted that way for most of the book. It just grated on me. However, some people may like the banter because she does like to dish it back to him, so *shrugs*. Different readers, different perspectives.

If this is your thing, you will probably like this one. It wasn't mine. I was bored the whole time and wanted it to stop. However, being fair, I think that this book has value to certain readers. If you read the synopsis and think that sounds good, you'll probably like it.

A.J. Cooper and Kane Wright...

AJ is gorgeous - Miss Illinois gorgeous - but she wants to do something more important than this, so she joins the police department, and then is recruited by T-FLAC...she has a photographic memory and is top in the sharp shooting class... before she completes training, she is accidently shot in a training exercise, and hasn't quite recovered from it emotionally - but is called on on this ops (as the only female sharp shooter) against the team leader, Kane's, judgement. The ops is to take out terrorist Fazur Raazaq, and they believe AJ will draw him out with her beauty (she is a model, Kane is a photographer)...

In Egypt, the story begins with unexpectedly locating Fazur... and AJ has him in her sights, but panics, closes her eyes, and misses... it leaves AJ & Kane with plan A, and AJ working very hard to prove herself, to herself, to Kane, and to T-FLAC... the two are opposites - AJ needs to talk when she is nervous, upset, bored, etc... Kane wants silence... but little by little, they get closer - emotionally and physcially...

Unbeknownst to the world, a peace summit is occuring at the site of a newly discovered, in tact pyramid in an isolated area, where a resort has been built... and Fazar has targeted them - 1st by a 100 mile radius electrical impulse interupter (cars, cells, radios, airplanes, etc don't work) and then he will infect them all with an airborn virus, and sell the antidote to their countries...

AJ & Kane know he has the virus, and are 8 hours behind him, following through a sand storm, on camels (where they have creative sex, hmmmm),finally tracking him down... they end up killing him, blowing up the pyramid (how sad), and saving the presidents & royalty... and ending up in 12 days of quarintine... where they get to declare their love for one another...

Every book I have read I love. I am loving Cherry's books more and more. It's like reading a female version of Bond or Robert Ludlums. Great stories, great action, and great sex and in the strangest places. Think desert, camel and do I need to say more? The Tangos who are the bad guys who are ruthless and believe me this one is and the hero and heroine are out stop them at all cost. Out of sight was different as in the girl this time was a black ops girl, rookie who was sent out into the field because of her sharp shooting expertise, yet blew it badly, so she had something to prove she wasn't just a gorgeous body which was another reason she was being used. AJ Cooper was to prove to the world she could be a brilliant black ops girl. Then there is Kane Wright the strong silent type, and I mean silent, you have to hit him with a fry pan to get two words out of him while she could chat a cockatoo off it's perch. Oh, and Kane is her black op's hero. There are twist and turns and sorry I don't give anything away, just recommend to read this book.Set in Egypt, one of my all time favourite places, we have desert, oasis, campsite, etc. Thanks again Cherry for another great ride into danger, fun and of course the emotional roller coaster of AJ and Kane. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
Now to talk about the enchance part of the book.
Great. Profile of the characters - excellent - facts and traits
History, photos of sites, even letters from disgruntled camel's reps - read the book then the letter - so funny.
It like extra's on blu-rays give the reader an insight to behind scenes of the book. Really enjoyed that.
All over a great book which takes you on a great adventure and loved the extra stuff as well. Just brilliant.

This entry for the series starts out with action - what a plus. To my thinking this is an action adventure series that has been light on the action. It's just in time for Kane Wright's spotlight where he gets to show every side of him and there isn't a side that model worthy AJ Cooper doesn't find drool-worthy.
Once again I feel this is just on the brink of being a series I can't do without. The villain was a perfect fit for diabolical and the story seemed to flow well. Nothing like a maniacal psychopath determined to rule the world to notch the action sequences and the intricacy of the plot. I found the many action sequences vividly fulfilling and liked the star couple together and separately. Which was an exceedingly good thing since the story was almost insular. I believed the chemistry and sexual tension between them but found the love a tad too quick and convenient. AJ's warrior persona was a beacon for females that serve in the protective forces as she successfully showed she was more than a pretty face and a shapely form while battling recovery from a horrific training accident just a few months before. Kane represented the alpha testosterone brigade well with the preconceptions and the drive to protect. I missed the Wright family that have been a staple up to this point but liked a glimpse at some of the other T-Flac members.

Though her confidence is badly shaken by a training accident, A. J. Cooper vows to become an excellent T-FLAC operative. She is everything the antiterrorist agency looks for—she’s smart, resourceful, and a crack shot. Eager to prove herself to her instructor, the highly regarded Kane Wright, A. J. takes on a difficult and potentially deadly assignment. A success in the field could be just the thing she needs to make her career with the agency—and working so closely with the extraordinary and irresistibly sexy Kane is a fantasy come to life.

Kane Wright is a master of disguise, hiding his powerful attraction for A. J. in the name of professionalism. But when she doesn’t bounce back quickly after her accident, Kane’s desire becomes concern. In the field, even a moment’s hesitation can turn a routine operation into a deadly one. With A. J. taking a lead position in this mission, Kane knows he won’t be able to take his eyes off his gorgeous tomboy trainee. Under the hot desert sun, even as they struggle to unravel a madman’s devious plot, their long denied passion will finally boil over. . . .

As usual, I loved another T-FLAC book! Except this book didn't have an epilogue, or a chapter following up with the couple AFTER the mission was over. So the ending was a little different than the other books. I really liked A.J. I loved that she was beauty pageant beautiful, but hated that about herself. I loved all the tension between the two of them at the beginning. Both of them being very attracted to each other, but neither one of them wanting to let the other one know or act on it. It made it all the more gratifying when Kane finally just kissed her!

I did find one mistake. Half way through the book, A.J. called her brother Gideon instead of Gabriel. oops.

Also, I guess I'm just the kind of person that needs everything spelled out for them, but was Angina her name? If it was where does the "J' in A.J. come into play? I wanted a clear cut answer on her name. Just because answered to Angina at the end didn't really necessarily mean that was her name, he had been calling her that on and off the whole time they were together. I think she would have answered to any of the stupid names he was spouting.

3 1/2 stars

The third of the Wright brothers gets his story. Kane Wright is a photographer by passion, but also an operative for TFLAC. He is one of the best operatives at that. AJ Cooper looks up to him as her hero. She's studied every one of his case files and is in awe of him and aspires to be like him.
When they are put together on an op and she fails at her first attempt, her dream of being like him and even continuing to be a TFLAC operative is in danger. She vows to prove herself to him to keep her job.

I liked the first part of the story, but once the "romance" started, I was a little annoyed with it. The story had a few holes in it that just left me wondering. I got lost with some of the descriptions and who was who, etc...AJ and Kane had good chemistry, but not great. I liked them, but I didn't love them. This is a good addition to the Wright brothers' stories, but I was left a little disappointed. Obviously, not that much because I would round my rating up to a 4 when forced to choose who stars.
