When you take these amazing principles and apply them to your life even when it's hard to grasp, you will see success!
This man is walking proof of Gods hand on his life. His life could be completely different but thank God, that God found him.

Excellent story teller and clearly his faith has made him happy, healthy and rich. He referenced revivals relevant to the Western world and anecdotal references. All of this is perfectly fine and helps build up hope but I also wanna be a little more sensible for worldwide readers.
How well faith works, in my view, is also largely dependent on your country's political environment and other major religions and alliances that shape opportunities, knowledge and who you get to meet. Sure God can change everything according to the bible, but let's face it, God doesn't. So don't blame Faith if things don't work out for you, it's likely you are just in the wrong political environment and need to move countries or simply find a workaround. Eg if you have a race quota at your job, you can pray for it to work in your favour, but it's likely not going to happen or not fast enough.
And that's my second point. Sometimes there is nothing God can do and there is no reason for you to suffer the set back. Stop looking to rationalise everything. Sometimes the idea is Faith or lessons in Faith are overly simplified to generate a story but not the power of Faith. So you wanna be careful about the subtext and the authors subtext is weak.
Faith is so powerful that even politicians rely on it when making promises during election season. Faith is so powerful that even engineers rely on it when their maths needs to launch and navigate satellites. Faith is so powerful you need to believe the medication helps before it can deliver it's full value or a placebo powered by Faith, will do more!
I'm no bible expert, but a lot of what the Bible speaks of is in the time when there were probably less than 10million people on the planet and just 2 or 3 major religions and lots of spiritual sacrifices. It was generally believed that a super power existed and in those times, their faith was dominated by obedience to the gods. Religions changed and some religions allowed divorced men and women to remarry. That changed again when property not obedience became evidence of God. And frankly, I believe that the only evidence of God in your life is health, prosperity and excellent relationships.
How religions interact has an impact on outcomes on life of each individual. Especially on Eastern cultures where communalism and communism may still be a norm. And how that impacts with policies and politics also has an impact on personal outcomes.
I think it's a good book to pick up from kids under 12yo who don't know what Faith can do. But it's not ideal for adults who also need to know how Faith works.
Faith in God or in money or in your desired results is not a fix all, politics has a role to play as does social norms and all the other stuff that shapes opportunities, outcomes and business or career results.
He also doesn't touch on how Faith and gifts interact.
Faith is strong when you know you have a gift. But Faith is strongest when it succeeds. For faith to succeed you only need alliances, not God.
So I would say be wise and knowledgeable about opportunities as best you can, faith alone can't solve political setbacks or policy re-wiring your path or delaying it, but despite all of this, Christianity might be worth a shot if you live in a country and environment where your faith aligns with the political movement and laws respect your gift as yours and yours alone. Christianity is not the only religion that relies on Faith, Hinduism does too as do many others.
Basically, this book on faith isn't as sophisticated as I would have liked, not as pragmatic so the keys of faith are lost.
The bible says defend your faith, and that means defend the keys.
So you must defend your relationships, money etc to defend your faith and from blindly believing in the best when you might need to settle for second best and for no reason but political bad luck.
I wish Duplatis had used his excellent story telling skills to handle these hard truths.

He looks like a sheep, but underneath, he is a ravenous wolf! It's all phony. He is deceiving God's people. Read KUNDALINI WARNING - Are False Spirits Invading the Church? By Andrew Strom. God showed me that Word of Faith is operated by the Kundalini spirit. Jesse is a false prophet. This is a powerful spirit. It's a test. Read your bible. Kundalini twists the Word of God. Word of Faith tells you you need to tithe in order to be blessed. But where should you tithe? Is it definitely Jesse? Do you believe in the fruits of their ministry? So he can get even richer while you stay poor. Does he not know what he is telling you is a lie? Or it's always God's will to give you wealth and health. What about Job? His story is our story, that we will lose things in this life. Doesn't mean we don't have enough faith. Read Jesus Goes To McDonald's by Luiz Alexandre Solano Rossi. Having a great life is a lie. When you become a Christian, the devil is after you. Everyday a battle, not a cushion. Or not to question those in positions of spiritual power. Yet Paul called out false teachers! Word of Faith movement is a bunch of garbage. If you accept it, you will, like me, have years of struggle, where you are looking for a "sign" God is with you. The only sign is His Word! They talk about not being "religious," as if an empty undiscerning mind ready to accept false doctrines is the Way to accept God. You must hold on to the true doctrine. Matthew 24:10-13 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Once saved, always saved is a lie. To be saved, you must confess you are a sinner, that you put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior and will submit to Him in all things, including every part of your life, and with His help, that you will stop sinning. The deception here is really great! The manipulation is subtle, but with the Holy Spirit's help you can detect it. Truth mixed with lies is LIES. The positivity, the blabbing out promises without faith, the holding God hostage- Sure you can hold God hostage, but will He really find no falsehood among you? I absolutely loved this book. I read it once, than turned around and read over again. I had borrowed it from the library, so wasn't able to keep it. It's a book I think everyone should read. Whether you're a believer or not, the lessons taught in this book, are positive, uplifting, and help to determine your future. This book was so relatable to me right now, perfect and I want my own copy so I can read it at least once a year to keep the message in the forefront of my mind and remember it thoroughly.

Great book, reminding me to give God my dreams.
I was prepared to not like this book. I thought it was a name it and claim it book. I was wrong, our God knows our needs, and our dreams. He wants us to be as invested as He is in them. The verse in Matt comes to mind often as I read this book. "Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Then all these things will be added into you." You don't get it free, but He loves to bless us as we bless others.

What a book! Amazing! Full of nuggets and is one of those books that motivates you and teach you to do more. There’s nothing impossible with God if you put God first in your life.

Preachers who truly follow Christ do not own jets. That money could have gone to support local leaders and to actually directly demonstrate God’s love to people beaten down by circumstance and the greed of others. It’s incredibly egotistical to believe that no one else could be as effective.

This book helps you to stay focused and keep moving toward your goals and destiny. The spiritual and practical tips for avoiding and overcoming opposition are balanced, enlightening and encouraging. They really help you to grow in faith and stay encouraged.
A little humor is sprinkled throughout, lending a little lightness. Testimonies about pastor Jesse’s salvation and the effects of it were appreciated and connecting. I recommend this book.

I thought the focus was to bold and used biblical truths to promote success in business. The book is "self help" using the bible.
I have listened to Jesse Duplantis preach and I have found humor. His preaching is wonderful, his writing doesn't do it for me.

FILLED WITH INSIGHT,HUMOR, AND PRACTICAL TEACHING.BROTHER JESSE DOES A GREAT SERVICE INSTRUCTING AND INSPIRING OTHERS TO PRUSUE AND TO CONTINUE PRUSUING THE DESTINY GOD HAS PLACED BEFORE THEM. LOVE THE PART HE WRITES ABOUT DESTINY IS NOT ONLY ABOUT REACHING A PLACE OR A SUCESSFUL GOAL BUT WHO YOU ARE BECOMING ON THE JOURNEY.

I love Jesse Duplantis ministry. He makes being a Christian fun. This book really is a good book to read. Gives you drive for your own destiny.
