Suspenseful thriller
Ok. So I thought I was reading a romantic thriller, but this ended up being way more suspense thriller than anything else. Which is fine, but it leaves you with one hundred questions, so it’s essentially a cliffhanger/to be continued ending.
I enjoyed this book even though it was not what I was expecting. It kept me reading and turning pages. At times it was a little confusing, but I figure that more things will make sense as the series continues. Not sure if I’ll start the next book right away as I think I need a little break from the confusing darkness haha.

I was surprised when I went to post my review on Amazon only to find out that this author has no books on Amazon.
This was a pretty good read. Jax Paulson is a former Marine turned romance writer. Jax is on the edge of worldwide success. He has a one night stand with a woman who is number 1 fan "he should have kept it in his pants". Sara turns into Kathy Bates from Misery which this book reminded me of but with sex scenes. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

Wow what an amazing suspense thriller. This book has twists and turns from the beginning until the end and has you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The characters are outstanding and the plot is uniquely written.

Ok, this was my first read from this author. I had heard tales of his erotic writing so I thought that was what I was heading in to. It was not. It was something different, yet totally amazing!! Next to romance (contemporary, erotic, everything else), my favorite genre is thriller/suspense, and this book delivered that in spades!! Don't get me wrong, there are still a few sexy scenes, but that is not the crux of this story.
Jax Paulson is a famous author with a wide female fan base. After all, he is romance writer. But that top spot on the NYT Best Seller list has eluded him for far too long. A publicity stunt arranged by his publicist might drum up enough attention to push his popularity through the roof, and finally get him that coveted position.
When a stalker situation goes from mildly unnerving to downright terrifying, can Jax put a stop to it? When people around him start ending up dead, and all signs are pointing to him as the culprit, will he be able to prove his innocence before his life, and his career are ruined?
Sarah Bender is Jax Paulson's number one fan. But she knows the truth about him. And she'll do everything she can to stop him. The voices told her so.
This is a continuing series so don't expect that all the questions will be answered. I'm not sure how to feel about the ending. It kind of ended, but at the same time, it kind of didn't. There is definitely more to this story, and answers to questions that were only touched upon in this story need resolution. I love a good twisty-turney thriller and this one kept me guessing for sure. Give it a try!!

The book was okay for me. I thought that Ashton writing as Thorn Black was going to get hotter, steamier kink. I thought that’s what he meant by ‘darker’. There were kink scenes and they were hot but not what I was expecting.
The story itself was interesting and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended. There were some twists to the plot that kept me reading. I did notice that the author jumped around and the book didn’t flow completely. He would be on one topic and jump to another. A couple of times I thought I spaced out while reading and went to the previous paragraph to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It wasn’t me. It was how the book was written.

From the very beginning Obsession quickly grabbed my attention. This suspenseful thriller kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing until the end. Just when I thought I might have figured things out another twist occurred in the story that had me second-guessing myself. The characters were intriguing and definitely kept me on my toes. After the suspenseful and twisted ride Obsession took me on I'm curious to see what happens in the next book.

Wow!
I loved this book and had a hard time putting it down. It captivated me from the beginning and my heart was pounding throughout the whole book. It definitely had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. This was an amazing suspenseful thriller. Can't wait to read the next book.

This is the first book in a new series from this talented duo of authors’. Jax is a sexy author, who has acquired a female stalker Sarah. This is a well written story which is filled with mystery, twist, and suspense, and I was on tenterhooks throughout. Every time I thought I had figured things out, a curve ball was thrown, and I was back to square one! I cannot wait to read the second book!

This is my first time reading anything by this author. This book lives up to it's title. It was a dark and twisted book. That had you reading it from the beginning to the end. Just to see what would happen. Jax could be my book boyfriend anytime.
