A very basic introduction to diggers and strictly informational. Not a bad book for kids interested just getting into construction vehicles or diggers, but there's not much there for anyone who already has a fair amount of knowledge. Of course, the almost-three-year-old that I read digger books too doesn't much care as long as there are diggers somewhere on the page, so it did the trick.

Joshua (4) picked this out and I have had to read it to him at least 5 times a day, he loves it. Well written and designed, good pictures. He now knows all he needs to about back-hoes and the like for his age and so do I.
