Tyson BloodMoon has a monster inside him. Yeah, the rest of his brothers have wolves in them too but not like his. Monster is different. He doesn’t need bonds, he doesn’t need anyone, and there isn’t anything he can’t get for himself with brute strength and lethal force…until he meets her. Tyson’s mission is to watch his Alpha’s new sister-in-law. Watch! But, Monster has other plans.Cersi is on the hunt. Her sister’s been kidnapped, and Cersi’s determined to find her no matter where she has to go or who she has to confront. She’s not afraid of monsters, never has been, so when a powerful, dominant, monster of a man says he has her sister Cersi’s ready to unleash all hell. If Tyson BloodMoon thinks she’s backing down from him, he’s dead wrong.Tyson struggled to control his inner Monster well before he ever laid eyes on Cersi. Now, with temptation right in front him, Monster wants out, and Tyson doesn’t know if he’ll be able to hold the beast back.
My pack territory is in Central Montana, between Stone Crow Estates and the North Fortress. Born and raised in an untamed location that bridges the gap between rolling prairies and majestic mountain peaks, I am born to a family that also bridges the gap between cultures. My father’s people boast a fiercely proud Scandinavian ancestry while my mother’s tribes descend from two savagely beautiful and unique nations (White Clay and Nakoda) that inspire my Skin Walker series.
I'm a huge fan of MMA, boxing, 30 Seconds to Mars, DMX, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and 21 Pilots (“…sometimes quiet is violent”). I also love to read because it encourages me to write. (I hate it when authors add that they love coffee and chocolate. Really? Who doesn't love coffee and chocolate?) Anyway, I love beer...kidding. I don't love beer but we are engaged in a very serious relationship. (Mom, please don't call me when you read this.)
Please leave feedback….well, only if it’s positive. “Keep in mind that I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shit! (Erykah Badu lyrics!)

This book answer all my questions. This author can write. She kept on point never straying or getting lost in another story. She kept up with her timelines. This story was good. I will be reading her work in the future. Yes i will tell friends to read her. To the author THANK You. For a great book.
I am so glad that Tyson found his HEA! He and his monster are misunderstood by others and even by himself, and the author gave him some hard truths to learn throughout the book. Cersi is an amazing character! She is a lost soul who comes across tough, but is emotionally fragile. The author brought these two together and created something new and strong for each of them. They had such an incredibly long hard road, but together they brought change and peace to themselves and others. This book is a fantastic follow up story to The Hunt and I would love to see more stories from this pack.
I loved Cersi, she is like that general from Black Panther. So bad ass! Doesn’t care what’s in her way and fully capable of taking care of herself. She may have had blinders on with her focus on her sister so she wasn’t really able to see the bigger pisture but I did like how she wasn’t afraid. She was the perfect match for Tyson’s Monster.
And the name fits the beast. He is a bit feral. Where Cersi is laser focused on one thing at a time, (ie her sisters safety) Tyson gets too much in his head about everything. In that way Cersi is excellent for him. But he resists his feelings for her and I was a bit confused about the why of it to be honest. He gets wishy washy and he caved when it came to his physical desires, but seemed to think he was just meant to be alone so when he backpedaled it was confusing with the back and forth.
I enjoyed this book more because of the end. It was filled with lots of action. Gory fighting and lots of blood, the way real wolves go at it. And it tied up all the loose ends from the previous book. Although I will say that the author could have navigated the tranistions better in this book with regards to the bigger picture. It seemed kind of thrown together to me.
Other than that, this book had great chemistry and steamy scenes which made up for the wishy washiness. I’d read more from this author.
In the prior book the shifter counsel requires the kidnapping and hunt of human women. This book gets further into the counsel and their practices. The hero and heroine of this story are awesome, tough and loyal. And when I say tough, I mean really, really tough. I loved the ending of this book. Great story.
3 1/2 stars. I like this better than the first one which was good. Cersi and Tyson have great chemistry but have reason to be careful of letting people into their hearts. How they slowly grow to trust and love each makes a great story, but of course there obstacles and difficulties ahead. Where is the story if there isn't?
Cersi may be small but she is well trained and uses the right tools to even the playing field. Sometimes being tough makes the character come off as a bitch, but it doesn't here. Tyson is flushed out to be more than his Monster.
There's more about the wolf society here and some justice is meted out for how the human women are treated. Some people get there butts kicked.
The very end is a bit choppy and it would have been nice to have an epilogue that rounded everything nicely. But still well worth the read. Tyson and Cersi are a fun couple.
The first book in this series was amazing and I didn’t know how this book was going to hold up to it. Well as normal I didn’t have to worry as this author knows how to spin a story to keep you reading. You can’t help but become attached to the characters and the storyline just makes it impossible to put the book down. It’s paranormal but please don’t let that put you off if you don’t read it as it’s not so heavy on the paranormal side of things and I think anyone would like it. Anyone who likes an alpha male and a feisty female who gives as good as she gets. You need to read book 1 first as it sets up the story for this book.
2nd books can usually be a little bit short on story in fact just like the 1st but a little twist . That doesn't happen in this book although from the 1st to 2nd book the first couple of chapters are just not same time line but after that this book is so well thought out and written I have to admit I do prefer the 2nd book as far more going on and as we all know The Council run things in the sifter world but this book even tells us who actually are in charge and it is not a male therefore would loveto know more about the true rulers and i hope that is another book .In fact these books could certainly have far more in the series
Believe it or not, I liked this book better than the first. The grammar errors were less, the male lead was FAR more likable, and the female lead was a bad ass! (Though she ends up becoming a little less of one as the story goes on.)
This story follows Tyson, and the woman he wants, Cersi. She is hunting for her missing sister and Tyson, it seems, knows of her whereabouts. Romance and all that follow.
This is a good romantic read, and I really enjoyed this. I loved the strong willfulness of both characters, and I think that really made for an interesting turn. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a romantic page turner.
I like this author. The book was good and don't and def the bad assery I was looking for, but this one was long simply because the internal monologue. I literally skimmed a few pages and didn't miss anything. With the actual juice if the story which btw was good. The sex was brief but got real interesting at the end.. More if that please. I like it. I especially like keeping to the heroines race... Some authors sick at that this was genuinely good. 4 stars for monologuing
I really liked this charming/grrr primitive passion of this story about Tyson and Cersi. An mixed race African American Cersi’s military service and police training made her immune to dominate behavior from Tyson which turned his dire wolf Monster who was revealed in the first book of this series. It was nice to see them fall in lust and love while dealing with the Bloodmoon pack issues.
Ok so this was not bad. I liked that Cersi was a badass but she turned all whimsy in the end because of a man. I wanted her to fight alongside her Monster. I wanted her to fight for the love she wanted. I expected her to sass her way to the end, not jus fold up and give up. I'm kinda disappointed in the personality change at the end.
I loved this book! Read the first one and thought it was good but when I saw there was a second book about Tyson I knew I had to read it. Tyson and Cersi's story was fantastic. Loved how 2 people who didn't feel worthy for love found it in each other. Can't wait til book 3 comes out!
The second book in this series is just fantastic! Tyson and Cersi are a one of a kind couple 💑. This novel starts off with a big and doesn't stop. Tyson (Monster) is a force to be reckoned with and Cersi is just the woman for the job. A great story of two lonely people that finally found love 💘.
Sigh... these books are on the border of being very good. I just wish they had more background. I don’t understand where all these guys come from, how they got together, how they came to Own a campground... Where all the money came from. But the characters are good and likable. And it’s an enjoyable read. But it could be better.
Loved it. Strong characters, funny at times and honest. It's best to read The Hunt first, otherwise the story won't flow as easy. I loved Cersi, my kind of woman. The book reflects something all women in a relationship know, (especially us older birds), no matter how strong your man is, we hold the power.
As an African American woman thank you for including us. I have often wished I could see a sexy, black woman that one of these shifters fell for. Your description of Cersi reminds me of myself physically and spiritually. Family is not just blood, has always been my motto. Thank you!!
Even better than the first. Like the lion meets his tamer.
Relationship dynamics between Tyson and Cerci was awesome. They have similar views of the world although they are quite different. The pack politics was heightened and it was good to see world development through this. It makes you hopeful that the series continues and we hope Noah is up next!
I loved The Hunt. It had its intense moments. THE HUNT2!!! Is on a different level for me. The female is kickass the male is badass. I felt the love in this book!! This is the kind of fairytale you want to read about!
I love her books have all of them this second book was so awesome can not wait for the next one or anymore she will write thank you Susan O really appreciate your talent
OMG !!!!!!!!!! You are absolutely awesome. I love Cersei and Tyson story. I laughed I cried and I cheered them. You have to keep the stories coming cuz I hate waiting for the next one. Lol
What a story Cersi and Tyson (Monster) what a great tale it has every thing. Love hate fright, feelings misunderstandings and to finally understand what it is to love another exaxtly how they need to be loved. Susan wright fast I'm ready for the next one.
U can't love this book(series..?) anymore than I already do
Awesome character, great drama, good bit of suspense/excitment, a heavy amount of steam with out being over sexed, a dollop of laughs and a fierce love story. I might even say I like I this story more than the first one.
I found myself wanting to move past A lot of the writing to get to the point. After reading the previous book i was ready to move on. I wasn't patient for the story to get a nice on.
This book was really great. However I was hoping that it would Noah’s story too like the first one had haddix and Brayden both. Really hope there’s another book soon for Noah though
I wished I had seen what they did with Kylon. I'm glad the Elders let Tyson have his revenge and they better be glad Cersi was able to call off her mate. I really enjoyed these two books and definitely look forward to the next.
I absolutely loved this book and have fallen in love with the author as well. Finding a new author is sometimes hard but I'm definitely hooked!! Hoping Noah gets his own story.
Susan is a great story teller. This was a well developed story, that that picked up from book one,The Hunt. Cersi and Tyson, along with monster are great deep characters.
Really good book. The characters were likeable and the plot was interesting. It wasn't as action packed as the last book but there were moments. The sex was better in this book, by that I mean 2x. It wasn't as vague either, it was fairly detailed and hot 2.5/5. There was a.
The Hunt 2 is the second book I've read by this author and I'm loading the rest into my queue - I feel pretty good about them being just as good if not better.
