Kelly and her brother "Glitch" are on their way to mountain resort town, WinterPark - but under their plane, in the baggage compartment is an egg sac of Squirmsters. The Squirmsters are a government experiment gone wrong - but they're extremely valuable, and someone has stolen them from the lab. Currently there are over a thousand of these genetically modified bugs hidden away on board the flight, and the cooling mechanism keeping them dormant has broken down, causing them to come to life.
Once they make their way from under the plane to where the passengers are, all hell breaks loose as they start to devour people. A government agent on board tells the remaining staff and passengers about the bugs. She calls them "man-made monsters. An experiment that never should have been. A weapon. You've all heard of biological warfare. That's what they are, a bio-weapon."

When I first saw these books I was stoked. I'm super into things like this - horror series like Goosebumps and the like. I was especially into this idea because these books seemed super rare to me, and the covers and premise are awesome. Sadly, I didn't love this one. I didn't like any of the characters and something was just off for me. I'm really hoping I'll like the others in the series better, so fingers crossed.
