I feel very satisfied and knowledgeable having read this factual yet fun biography. I would suggest this book to a year 6 child due to the language and terminology used. Would be a great read for one to challenge or really strecth their reading ability.
Above all, it reaches out to the younger audience through it's 'try this' activities where it get's you to try something using peices of paper etc to prove very basic theories mentioned. Saying that, even I got out my scrap paper and tried a few. Great intervals of fun in between small passages of text is a gret idea of keeping the reader engaged.
Being a biography, it ties in Einstein's life with major events such as The Holocaust, WW2 and even mentions quotes from the man himself to Winston Churchill. Usefull cross curricular links with history aswell as science.
Finally, the illustrations are surprisingly humerous and along with the language, children can actually enjoy learning factual information about Albert Einstein. I really enjoyed reading this and I can now proudly say i'm an expert on the theory of relativity!

The book described Einstein as "a clever person who knew not to believe everything the Bible says" if the author meant "atheist" he should have just said Einstein was an atheist and not have dog whistled.

Yeah okay- 2.5*
I think I've been harsh on my rating but I don't think this book was that engaging. I love Albert Einstein and I was casually interested but I think it could have been better written. Perhaps, I didn't warm to it because it's non fiction.
