Harold Pinter is undoubtedly one of the most admired and liked playwright of the 20th century. He is known for his plays that are very much unique to him, for they do not deal with the conventional subjects or traditional themes.
The present play “The Homecoming” is a two-act play. It was written in 1964. The play was published in the form of book in the following year, 1965. The play first premiered in London in 1965 and in New York in 1967.
The Broadway production of this play was the winner of Tony Award for Best Play in 1967. The play was also nominated for a 2009 Tony Award for “Best Revival of a Play.” It has never lost its popularity. The play has been translated into several languages. It is one of the favorite plays among students around the world.
This writer offers some interesting information but should get a good editor to go over it. Repetitive, disorganized, and misses much of the essence of the tale. I think there is good material here, but needs grammar, spelling (typos), sentence structure and presentation. I hope he does this because the material has a lot to offer.
