Fascinating memoirs of the primary lady in waiting to the grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II(Queen Mary). She was connected to just about EVERYONE of importance in that era (her nice married Winston Churchill, her grandmother was wife to Prime Minister Palmerston, her sister married the son of Prime Minister Salisbury, and on and on.).
