Beautiful in their simplicity, the designs in this colorful collection use just one type of stitch—and most can be completed in a single weekend. Make elegant bookmarks, coasters, scented sachets, pincushions, and greeting cards. Information on tools, materials, and techniques will help beginners get started. Each project has a color chart, indication of its skill level, and average completion time.

A nice selection of patterns, even though the projects are limited to six types (bookmarks, coasters, scented sachets, pincushions, cards, and a chessboard). I would have found the patterns clearer if they had all been printed in black and white, the matching of the colour in the pattern charts to the design was annoying, especially the pieces using peach thread on black fabric.
