" Mister, are you a virgin?"
Masamoto, a 29-year-old guy. He has serious problems relating to people, in addition to being single. But, to change that, one day he decides to go to a gay meeting place and get a date. But, while he was hesitating whether to go in or not, a high school student appears who seems to be lost, Sakuya, and he catches his eye. This action immediately caused him to run away from the place. But one day, the two of them meet again at the cinema. After talking for a while, both realize that they have similar tastes. Such a cute couple!!! Sure I would have liked if that scene didn't happen..but I still liked them, they were sweet and awkward.

Tbh this was a charming and unexpectedly heartwarming story with a late bloomer trope!
What really shines, though, is the dynamic between him and the cheeky kid who takes it upon himself to play matchmaker. There’s something genuinely touching about the kid’s determination to help this kind, film-obsessed guy find love, not out of pity, but because he recognizes how special he truly is!!
The artwork is really lovely. Just a heads-up: don’t expect smut here (besides the little extra at the end). Instead, what you’ll get is a sweet, slice-of-life tale that celebrates how the quirks others dismiss might just be the very things that make someone unforgettable💓

Sakuya es un adolescente que adora las películas de miedo, es bastante independiente y no suele relacionarse con los demás.
Masamoto es un hombre de 29 años que también ama las películas de miedo (sobre todo las de serie B), él es virgen y quiere ir a citas a ciegas con hombres pero tiene tanta fobia social que le resulta imposible.
Un día los dos se conocen por casualidad y Sakuya ayuda a Masamoto a abrirse un poco más al mundo de las citas.

Este manga lo he leído poco a poco y es verdad que tiene su gracia y su ternura pero verdaderamente este manga nunca llenó mi corazón. No sentí que estuviera ante un manga especial, es simplemente raro y muy peculiar. Verdad es que se sale de los moldes habituales.
La trama central es un triángulo y a mi no me gustó aquí tampoco. Realmente me molestaba que ambos estuvieran incluyendo a un tercero para darle la patada después. Con el tercero hubo una escena que me desagradó mucho pero claro, en el fondo la trama se basa en la atracción y la iniciación sexual; y en las rarezas que hacen a las personas únicas y queribles o no para las otras.
Masamoto y Sakuya son geniales como amigos porque los dos comparten los mismos hoobies, les apasionan las mismas cosas con las que la sociedad les hace juzgarse como raros, creo que su amistad es muy bonita y desde fuera se nota que son el uno para el otro pero los dos están muy ciegos por lo que ese final feliz no pegaba nada.
Las ilustraciones no me gustaron, creo que no son bonitas o estelizadas.
No tengo grandes pegas contra este webtoon: simplemente no me convenció.

Aufmachung
Wenn ich einen Manga das erste Mal in der Hand halte, mache ich immer einen kleinen flip through, um zu checken, ob der Zeichenstil was für mich ist. Obwohl mich dieser hierbei anfangs nicht so überzeugte, so tat er es beim Lesen schlussendlich doch, da es viel detailreicher war, als ich dachte.
Auch der Schreibstil war toll und hat die Story gut widergespiegelt.
Protagonisten
Masamoto ist 29 Jahre alt und unendlich schüchtern. Das ist auch der Grund aus dem er noch Jungfrau ist. Bisher hat er sich lieber duzend Filme angesehen, als Kontakte zu knüpfen.
Sakuya geht noch zur Schule und ist sehr extrovertiert. Trotzdem bleibt er gern für sich und schaut allein trashige Filme. Er scheint irgendwie anders auf die Welt zu gucken, als die meisten anderen.
Fazit:
Erst einmal muss ich sagen, dass die Altersbeschränkung, abgesehen vom kurzen Abschlusskapitel, absolut unnötig ist. Tatsächlich ist Outside Flowers einfach eine schöne Geschichte.
Für Manga-Einzelbände ist es oft schwer in die Tiefe zu gehen. Allerdings hat man den Fokus hier vorwiegend auf die Schlüsselszenen gelegt, sodass man nicht das Gefühl hat, dass irgendetwas fehlt.
Die Story ist natürlich ziemlich vorhersehbar, was ich persönlich nicht so schlimm finde, da es genau das richtige für zwischendurch war. Ich für meinen Teil habe das Lesen sehr genossen.

NUNCA ME SENTÍ TAN TIMADA, DONDE ESTÁ MI HARD?
Weno, este manga nos cuenta la historia de Sakuya y Masamoto. Ambos se conocen de casualidad en la calle y Sakuya queda interesado, pero no es hasta tiempo después que lo encuentra en la misma sala de cine en la que está (donde re están viendo pulp fiction) es así como se enteran de que a ambos les gustan las mismas pelis y que Masamoto tiene algo conflicto para encontrar pareja. Así, Sakuya empieza a animarlo/ayudarlo pero en el medio se enamora de él con el conflicto de que Masamoto puede que haya encontrado otro tipo que le gusta.
AYSS DIO QUE HERMOSOS QUE SON. Me encantó el tema de las pelis de clase B, lo extraños que son pero como se complementan y que al final terminarán juntos es la cereza del postre. Obvio, Masamoto tiene muchísimo que aprender sobre las relaciones pero junto a Sakuya están haciendo de eso algo divertido y lleno de amor. No es de 5 estrellas porque me sentí súper timada con la escena de sexo (para eso ni lo hacía) pero la verdad es que lo re disfruté.

Un manga muy lindo y gracioso. No soy fan de los mangas con mucha diferencia de edad, pero este me gustó muchísimo. Amo la dinamica entre estos personajes, como al principio Sakuya quiere encontrarle una pareja única a Masamoto y pues todos sabes como resulta esto... en puro love.
Ame el capítulo 3 muchísimo. Un manga que sin necesidad de ser Hard es muy bueno. Tienen una relación preciosa... DUREN👍

Me dio pecado con Miki-San pero pues tampoco es que se haya profundizado esa relación. Para mi era un chico pues bien. Pero obviamente se necesitaba drama. Pero bueno, ojalá mi niño encuentre pareja.
En fin ame: el dibujo, la trama, el diseño de los personajes (más el de miki) la historia y nuestra parejita. 💖💖💖

“Outside Flower” ist wirklich ein sehr herzerweichender Manga. Zwar vermutet man, was geschehen wird, aber dennoch ist die Story sehr süß.
Der 29-jährige Masamoto ist noch Jungfrau und um das zu ändern, hilft ihm der Oberschüler Sakuya, einen Liebhaber für ihn zu finden. Während die beiden Filmbegeisterten sich anfreunden, fällt schnell auf, dass sie sich gegenseitig sehr gut ergänzen und sich mit aufbauenden Worten immer näher kommen.
Das Cover vom Manga gefällt mir richtig gut und auch der Zeichenstil ist wirklich gelungen.
Einfach wholesome all in all!

This was really very cute! Basically like the 40 year old virgin but he's 29 because Japan, and the cheeky kid wants to help him lose his V-card because it makes him sad that such a great guy (who shares his hobby for action films and introduces him to B-grade horror flicks) would be alone.
The art is really pretty, too, but there's no smut in this if that's what you're here for. Just a cute story about how someone's 'weird' can be someone else's 'special'.

Really not bad for a short story. Despite the age gap and being the same gender, they fall in love and this story shows how they discover their feelings for each other. It's cute. Also, there's a clear message that it's ok to be who you are because someone will accept you that way.
