A mature love story

Marlee Rae writes love stories with nature couples in mind, her couples gives us mature folks still on the hunt for our happily ever after hope.

Scared by her parents actions Tori is determined not to fall in love and so far at age 45 she had succeeded. Until Donald, Donald wants Tori likes her and wants her. After realizing that she had fruen zoned him because of his shy nice guy demeanor he cranks up the heat to show her there was more to him than meets the eye.
Tori and Donald's journey to happiness is a hor sexy story full of passion, with jealousy, fear and misunderstandings.

Donald and Tori’ story brought out different emotions at different times. While reading the story I really wasn’t sure how the story was going to end. Donald stepped out of his shyness long enough to let Tori know what his intentions were. Seemed simple enough until Tori finds herself in what some may refer to as an entanglement 😅. This was an enjoyable read , as I mentioned earlier, and just when I thought I knew what was going to happen ,it didn’t.

So I’m ready to move on to book three

The Masterclass

Oh wow, a character (s) context makes all the difference in the couple journey🤦🏾‍♀️😮! “Something Borrowed? Something New? (Something About Love Series - Book 2)” personified love transcends all, even hohoho’s🎅🏽 (whether current or reformed🤷🏾‍♀️🤭) tendencies. Dr DonDon, the student Ms. Tori “Breath Again” 😮‍💨 Phillips is present, prepared & pliable for endless l.o.v.e. let the masterclass commence 🥰🔥‼️

Taking responsibility

I loved Tori’s story because it was an example of taking responsibility for your actions, even when you didn’t have the best examples growing up. She made many mistakes and stayed making them because she used her parents’ bad example as an excuse. Marcus, Donald and all the other men were her poor choices and she had to own it in order to do better.

Something Cute

This is a great story. I love Donald being sincere and strong. I liked how Tori finally realized her own role in this issue. Kudos to both of them. This story needed better proofreading. Site is location not vision ( sight). Where, were, and whether we’re often confused. There were other grammatical issues, which does take away from the storyline.

Very good

This was a good read about learning from the past and starting something new. Tori had a lot of issues from the past. But Donald came in with the love and patience she needed. This was a good read.

Something Borrowed? something New

Way,way better than the first book. More about the two relationship. Not so much family and friends. Two people not looking for love but found it together.

Borrowed but Definitely New

Donald and Tori are two kindred souls that had ups and down, but through it all knew that they were meant for one another and that the ups and downs will just make them better

Something for sure

The story was something for sure. Tori and Donald had a lot of growth to get to where they ended. The ending seemed too abrupt, but overall a great story.

Nice Series

I have enjoyed reading about the ladies finding love and happiness. Especially when the characters are mature, confident and most importantly relatable.
