Delicious recipes that save time, money, and make meal prep easy!
Freezer cooking is a huge time-saver for busy families – you spend one day prepping a month’s worth of meals, to be stored in ziplock bags in the freezer, ready to throw into the Instant Pot, pressure cooker, or multi-cooker for dinner! Rather than slave away every night, you take care of all the planning, shopping, chopping, and measuring in one fell swoop for a month’s worth of delicious meals. And your multi-cooker makes it even easier – just dump, lock, and in a few minutes, dinner’s ready!

I really don't see how this book offers much time saving advantages since the recipes rely heavily on canned ingredients. For example the 'veggie' chili recipe calls for canned beans, jarred salsa, jarred peppers and finally fresh zucchini. Then the split pea soup recipe suggests freezing dried peas with a little celery and some chopped ham, why anyone would freeze dried peas is beyond me. It might have been better marketed as a 'dump-and-go' style book.
There was nothing of much interest here for me. It looked like most of the recipes relied on a flavorful stock. If you didn't have that, there didn't seem to be much depth of flavor in anything.
So far we have tried half a dozen recipes and none of them have the flavors we have been looking for. They all have been very bland and need to be tweaked to be of interest. I have been doing freezer cooking for over 20 years and this cookbook just doesn't make the cut. It doesn't save time if the meals are so bland your family goes looking for something else to eat.
