Rate this book
Orphaned at a young age, Emily Rosen has called Hearts Grove orphanage home all her life. Now, though, she must leave behind all she knows to begin a life as a mail order bride. Life is unpredictable!

Emily was raised in an orphanage and she had reached the age to leave. A paper had an article about mail order brides so she applied to it and Charles Trenton sent a man to pick her up and bring her back to California. He was to take a woman and her baby also, but the woman was too ill to travel so she sent the baby to be carried to her husband. They ran into trouble during the long trip, one being snow that delayed them by a few months. During this time they spent it with Indians. When they reached their destination it turned out Mr Trenton had thought they had died and he had married another woman! Read to see what happened to Emily and the baby.

Mail Order Bride

This was a different type of story. Emily was going to California to marry, she was the mail order bride.Salvador was the person transporting her to her intended. A-baby was also being sent to his father. .These three had an unusual journey. Enjoy discovering their adventures.

A bride to be travels with unchaperoned baby and her driver. Their travel brings a transport breakdown, responsibilities and unplanned circumstances. Love ensues at the end of her journey. Couldn’t put this historical novel down!
