While Mr Hoezee understands the basic tenants of God's grace, he seems to revert to "should" much more often than is necessary for grace walk. In fact, "should" has no more relationship to the Christian than does Law after salvation by grace!
I disagree with Hoezee that we should be keeping the Law after grace, we should be getting rid of bad fruit in our lives to make room for the fruit of the Spirit, and we should be so thankful for grace that we muster everything to live grace lives.
I believe there's a fundamental misunderstanding of grace here because to be truly overwhelmed by God's grace and all that He has accomplished and given me in Christ means I no longer worry about "should." I simply overflow in gratitude and awe at who He is and what He's given freely. My life, of course, will be characterized by love, thankfulness, and good works -- not because I'm attending to them carefully lest I make the grace of God of no effect -- but because I'm growing into who I already am in Christ. There's no need to work on or strive or try hard even as I'm careful not to fall back into legalistic "it's all by my work" attitudes. The grace of God so freely given releases us from all shoulds and musts and try hards -- forever.
